PATIENT SAMPLE TRACKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20220157422 · 2022-05-19 · ·

A system for collection and tracking of a sample for testing is provided, which includes a kit having a housing configured for storing a sample therein and a label for adhering to the housing upon contact. The label further includes images orientated both horizontally and vertically, each displaying the same readable context able to be scanned. The images are positioned such that the position of the label on the housing and the orientation of the reader scanning the images minimally affects the ability to read the images.

A contact lens package includes a first package layer and a second package layer joined to the first package layer at an edge of the first package layer. The first package layer and the second package layer collectively define, at least in part, a cavity and a contact lens is disposed within the cavity. A visual trigger is depicted on either the first package layer or the second package layer, and the visual trigger is identifiable by a mobile device to be associated with an executable file.

Methods and systems for image processing to present data in augmented reality

Methods and systems for displaying information in augmented reality are described. In one embodiment, a system comprises a camera, a memory, a display, and a processor configured to (a) detect a first prescription drug in a field of view of a camera by detecting a glyph printed on a label on a container of the first prescription drug, (b) determine a first identifier associated with the first prescription drug using optical character recognition, (c) determine whether a user has access to additional data about the first prescription drug, (d) request the additional data about the first prescription drug from a database, and (e) display the additional data in augmented reality adjacent to the first prescription drug on the display such that the additional data moves when the field of view of the camera changes such that the additional data remains displayed adjacent to the first prescription drug.

APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING SMART LOGISTICS MONITORING AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed is a an apparatus for performing smart logistics monitoring including a display unit, a memory, a sensor unit sensing at least one of a temperature, acceleration, humidity, illuminance, inclination, impact, and location of an inside of a logistics vehicle, and a control unit that generates respective status information of a logistics according to a sensed result at a predetermined period, generates a respective QR code indicating the respective status information, and displays the respective QR code on a screen of the display unit. The respective QR code is converted and displayed on the screen depending on an order in which the respective QR code is generated.

DYNAMICALLY RECONFIGURING A GLYPH FOR REDIRECTING A USER TO UPDATED CONTENT
20230244890 · 2023-08-03 · ·

A system, related operating methods, and computer-readable storage media are disclosed here. The disclosed subject matter relates to methods of accessing by a device a record of content about an asset based on information embedded in a glyph associated with the asset; determining whether a glyph reconfiguration process should be performed when accessing the record of content based on a status of an object linked to the record of content about the asset wherein the status of the object is caused to change based on a schedule configured within an asset profile associated with the asset; and applying the glyph reconfiguration process for reconfiguring the glyph in response to change caused to the status of the object that results in redirection of the device to updated content based on different information embedded in the glyph about the asset.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING AND AUTHENTICATING AN OBJECT

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first image of a random distribution of items overlaying an encoded region of an object identification tag affixed to an object, wherein the first image comprises a first pattern obtained according to a first image capture configuration. A second image of the random distribution of items is also obtained, wherein the second image comprises a second pattern obtained according to a second image capture configuration. First and second stored reference patterns are identified according to decoded information obtained from the encoded region of the object identification tag and the first and second patterns are compared to the first and second stored reference patterns to obtain a comparison result. An authenticity of the object is determined according to the comparison result. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Using passively represented information to identify items within a multi-dimensional space

A system, method, and computer-readable medium for accessing information associated with items within a multi-dimensional space, comprising: scanning a plurality of multi-dimensional symbols, each of the plurality of multi-dimensional symbols being scanned from a plurality of angles; identifying each of the plurality of multi-dimensional symbols for each angle; and storing information identifying each of the plurality of multi-dimensional symbols for each angle in an encoded geometry repository.

Apparatus and method for identifying and authenticating an object

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first image of a random distribution of particles overlaying an encoded region of an object identification tag, wherein the first image is obtained according to a first image capture configuration comprising a first image capture angle. The first image is associated with a decoded message determined according to the encoded region resulting in an association between the object identification tag and the first reflection pattern. A second image of the random distribution of particles is obtained according to a second image capture configuration including a second image capture angle, and an authenticity of the object identification tag is determined according to the association, the first image, and the second image. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Chipless RFID tag using hybrid coding

Embodiments described herein include a chipless patterned conductor, comprising one or more glyphs. Each glyph comprises a disk and a ring structure including at least one ring surrounding the disk. One or more of a spacing between the disk and the at least one ring and a width of the at least one ring is configured to determine a characteristic resonant frequency of the glyph. At least one notch is disposed in at least one of the disk and at least one ring of the ring structure. The at least one notch is configured such that the magnitude of resonances in the glyph are dependent on polarization direction.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR IMAGE PROCESSING TO PRESENT DATA IN AUGMENTED REALITY

A system includes one or more processors coupled to a camera and a display. The processor(s) identify a unique identifier on a label of a prescription pill bottle or container using images generated by the camera, and request additional data from a pharmacy benefit manager using the identifier. The system includes an augmented reality subsystem that directs the display to present the additional data from the benefit manager in an augmented reality foreground image displayed over the camera images, directs the display to present interactive portion(s) in the augmented reality foreground image, and, responsive to detecting a user selection, implements an action that includes transmitting a request to refill a prescription drug, calling a doctor, and/or directing the display to present drug interaction information.
