A method of automatically setting up a code reading device that has an image sensor and a control and evaluation unit, wherein an example image of an example object arranged in the field of view of the image sensor and having an example code is recorded by the image sensor and at least one recording parameter and/or at least one decoding parameter for the operation of the code reading device is set with reference to an evaluation of the example image. In this respect, further example images are generated from the example image by calculational variation and the at least one recording parameter and/or the at least one decoding parameter is/are set with reference to an evaluation of the further example images.

A content code is defined containing user content, and a corresponding profile code defining user context information. The profile code may be scanned and stored temporarily in a user device or elsewhere. The user content can then be modified on the basis of the stored context information. In some cases the context code and profile code may be separate, so that a given profile code may be applied to diverse pieces of content, or may be combined. The stored context information may be undated or modified when particular events, such as re-scanning a code, occur. The codes may comprise binary codes, such that the profile code and the content code can be compared by a logical operation. Embodiments include a mechanism for presenting different notice information to different users on the basis of their profile codes, implementing a game such that the number of attempts are counted by refreshing the stored version of the profile code, and identifying cases where a list of ingredients stored in the context codes matches an ingredient corresponding to an allergy, intolerance or the like as specified in the profile code.

A method of image analysis is provided for recognition of a pattern in an image. The method includes receiving a plurality of images acquired by a camera, where the plurality of images include a plurality of optical patterns in an arrangement. The method also includes matching the arrangement to a pattern template, wherein the pattern template is a predefined arrangement of optical patterns. The method also includes identifying an optical pattern of the plurality of optical patterns as a selected optical pattern based on a position of the selected optical pattern in the arrangement. The method also includes decoding the selected optical pattern to generate an object identifier and storing the object identifier in a memory device.

Systems and methods for managing a set of electronic assets from a single location are disclosed. The method includes providing a portal with a network security access control. The method includes determining that login credentials input to the access control are associated with a set of electronic assets corresponding to a plurality of third-party computing systems with application programming interface (API) gateways configured to accept API calls directed to changes in functionality of the electronic assets. The method includes presenting, via the portal, a virtual icon to identify a coordinated action with respect to the set of electronic assets and, in response to a selection of the virtual icon, executing a set of API calls that include an asset-specific API call to each third-party computing system in the plurality of third-party computing systems to implement the coordinated action on all electronic assets in the set of electronic assets.

Example embodiments of the present disclosure include a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for providing an interactive and social fitting room experience. Consistent with some embodiments, the method may include selecting a target audience to poll for feedback on an image of an individual wearing a garment in a fitting room. The method may further include transmitting the image to a computing device of each member of the target audience, and compiling feedback regarding the image from members of the target audience. The method may further include causing the compiled feedback to be displayed to the individual on an interactive mirror display in the fitting room.

A monitoring device includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a captured image of a display panel of a control device configured to control an analyzer, an image storage unit configured to store the captured image, and a state determination unit configured to determine a state of the analyzer based on the captured image.

A method for processing the packages in a material handling environment is disclosed. The method includes receiving an image of a field of view of an image capturing device. The image comprising at least one decodable indicia having a predefined shape, the at least one decodable indicia attached to a package. The method further includes identifying one or more decodable indicia image coordinates, wherein each of the one or more decodable indicia image coordinates define a corner of the at least one decodable indicia using a 2-dimensional (2D) coordinate system. The method further includes transforming the one or more decodable indicia image coordinates to one or more decodable indicia spatial coordinates in the 3D coordinate system. Further, the method includes comparing the one or more decodable indicia spatial coordinates with one or more 3D region coordinates to determine whether the package is within a 3D region.

There is provided in one embodiment an apparatus having an image sensor array. In one embodiment, the image sensor array can include monochrome pixels and color sensitive pixels. The monochrome pixels can be pixels without wavelength selective color filter elements. The color sensitive pixels can include wavelength selective color filter elements.

Graphic code processing includes displaying a graphic code scanning interface that is used for previewing at least one frame of acquired scanning image. In response to n graphic codes being included in the at least one frame of scanning image, recognition is performed on the n graphic codes to obtain n contact accounts. A service processing interaction region is displayed that includes contact controls corresponding to the n contact accounts. The service processing interaction region is configured to provide a service corresponding to at least one contact account in the n contact accounts. The n contact accounts can be obtained by scanning codes in batches to add friends and transmit files.
