Methods and apparatus are described for the partitioning of difficult to handle materials such as viscous and sticky materials. The partitioning is accomplished accurately and precisely using an apparatus to extrude the material in portions on or in receptacles disposed on a stage.

HASHISH HAVING SUBSTANTIALLY UNIFORM CHARACTERISTICS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME AT AN INDUSTRIAL SCALE
20230189869 · 2023-06-22 ·

Traditional methods of hash production are very labor intensive, and the skills of the individual play a key role in defining the quality of the finished product. Hash production requires multiple steps and lacks automation, and thus, it is not easily scaled and very costly for commercial production. The present disclosure relates to hashish product comprising a cohesive mass of isolated cannabis trichomes and having substantially uniform characteristics and to a process of making same. The process comprises providing isolated cannabis trichomes; mixing the isolated cannabis trichomes under conditions sufficient to obtain a substantially homogeneous resinous mixture; and retrieving at least a portion of the mixture through an extrusion die to obtain the hash product.

LIPID MULTIPARTICULATE FORMULATIONS

Disclosed are various embodiments of lipid multiparticulate compositions comprising at least one active agent, a low flow point excipient, and a high flow point excipient.

COMPOSITION COMPRISING A COMPLEX COMPRISING A CURCUMINOID COMPOUND, AND STEVIOL GLYCOSIDES OR A LICORICE EXTRACT OR A FRACTION THEREOF, AND USES THEREOF

The present disclosure relates to a composition comprising a complex that includes a curcuminoid-based compound and a steviol glycoside, or a curcuminoid-based compound and a licorice extract or a fraction thereof; and a use of the composition for enhancement of immunity according to an enhancement of activity or a cell number of immune cells and/or a use of the composition for prevention, improvement, or treatment of COVID-19.

The complex including curcumin and a steviol glycoside, or a licorice extract or a fraction thereof according to the present disclosure, which are food materials that have been registered with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and have received the Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) rating from the U.S. FDA, and whose safety has already been confirmed, inhibits symptoms of COVID-19 by activating Th1 cells, CD8 T cells, and NK cells. Therefore, the complex can be provided as a food and pharmaceutical composition for preventing, improving, or treating COVID-19.

Organic acid salt of nicotinamide riboside, composition including organic acid salt, and preparation methods of organic acid salt and composition

An organic acid salt of nicotinamide riboside (NR) is provided, where an organic acid is selected from the group consisting of malic acid, citric acid, royal jelly acid, and the like, and a molar ratio of the NR to the organic acid is 1:2 or 1:1. A compound composition of an organic acid salt of NR and a carrier is further provided, where the carrier is selected from the group consisting of niacin, glutamic acid, royal jelly acid, nervonic acid, microcrystalline cellulose (MCC), and apple cider vinegar powder. The present disclosure adopts an organic acid with strong acidity, and such an organic acid can form an intimate ion pair with NR and show some hydrophobicity, which improves the stability of NR. The carrier can prevent moisture penetration and improve the water resistance of the organic acid salt.
