SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTIVELY PREVENTING ORIGINATION OF TRANSACTION REQUESTS
Processing transaction requests may be considered a computationally expensive operation for a computing system such as an e-commerce platform. An aspect of the present disclosure relates to systems and methods to reduce the number of transaction requests that are received and/or processed by a computing system. This may reduce demand on the computing system's resources and potentially improve the responsiveness of the computing system. In some embodiments, a set of users is selected based on at least one defined condition for a particular transaction request. Origination of the particular transaction request on behalf of users excluded from the set of users is prevented in order to reduce the number of the particular transaction requests that are received and/or processed by a corresponding computing system.
WIRELESS NETWORK, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONFIGURATION, OPERATION AND USE OF MOTORIZED, WHEELED AND STEERABLE PASSENGER-CARRYING CARTS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES
A wireless network, systems and methods, wherein each passenger-carrying rideable vehicle deployed in the system includes: a modular construction consisting of a lightweight body driven by an electric-battery driven motor, and specially adapted for receiving a customizable ornamental body having the appearance and personality of a particular or an inanimate object; motorized and/or animated elements disposed beneath the animal character skin covering for enabling animal behaviors and/or expressions that promote a fun and entertaining ride experience; an audio-transducers mounted within the animal character body for playing music from smartphone applications and animated animal character body portions to provide a sense of realism and excitement as the electric entertainment vehicle is ridden through an amusement facility.
Tire service tracking and notification
A method and computer program product are disclosed. The method includes tracking a distance travelled on a set of tires, determining a threshold, determining whether the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold, and notifying the user that the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold. The computer program product includes code to perform tracking a distance travelled on a set of tires, determining a threshold, determining whether the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold, and notifying the user that the distance travelled has exceeded the threshold.
Touchless authentication method and system
A touchless method and system of performing an authentication of a person in order to permit access to a secured resource is disclosed. The system and method are configured to collect channel state information associated with a person as they pass through a sensor zone and identify a biometric signal for the person. The system detects whether there is a match between the biometric signal and any biometric signals previously collected and stored in a database. If there is a match, the system verifies an identity of the person and can be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or locations for which he or she is authorized based on the authentication.
INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD, CONTROL METHOD, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A method includes: acquiring, from a first communication terminal of a first user via a network, i) a request for a purchase menu corresponding to a store and ii) a first notification indicating that a beacon signal including a device identifier (ID) specifying a beacon signal transmitter disposed in the store is received from the beacon signal transmitter; generating, based on limited product information, the request for the purchase menu, and the first notification, privileged purchase menu information; and outputting the privileged purchase menu information to the first communication terminal.
Vehicle identification method and system for providing authentication and notification
A vehicle identification system and method incorporating image recognition for retrieval, authentication, and/or notification. The vehicle identification system having a computing structure comprising at least one processor, a tangible computer-readable memory, and a transceiver for communicating over a network. A camera system communicating with the computing structure. The camera system having at least one camera observing at least one vehicle within a camera range of an establishment. The camera system capturing at least one image of the at least one vehicle. The tangible computer-readable memory comprises instructions to configure the at least one processor to: receive image data from the camera system; and detect an identifiable feature of the vehicle within the image data.
SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL WITH INTEGRATED COMPUTER-VISION ITEM RECOGNITION AND PAYMENT FUNCTIONS
A transaction apparatus comprises a touch display, a framed element, and a vertical scanner. The framed element comprises at least two cameras focused on a scan area defined in front of the vertical scanner. The framed element is located above a top portion of the vertical scanner and the touch display is adjustable up and down relative to a top portion of the framed element. During a transaction when items are placed in the scan area, multiple images of the scan area are provided by the cameras. The vertical scanner scans any item barcodes for the items visible to a scan window of the scanner. The multiple images are processed to identify item codes for the items. Scanned item codes are compared against their corresponding item codes and the transaction is processed.
Universal fare payment and collection system
A universal fare payment and collection system configured to allow users to purchase tickets and/or passes for a plurality of public transport authorities using a single account or device. The system is configured to detect a first ticketing technology of a first nearby transportation system, configure the traveler's electronic device for authorizing at least one of a ticket and a pass via the first ticketing technology, detect a second ticketing technology of a second nearby transportation system, the second ticketing technology being different from the first ticketing technology, and configure the traveler's electronic device for authorizing at least one of a ticket and a pass via the second ticketing technology.
SECURITY FOR CONNECTED DEVICES
A method includes: receiving, by a computer device and from an automated teller machine, a personal identification number that is associated with an account; determining, by the computer device, that the personal identification number is a disablement personal identification number that is associated with the account, the account having an activation personal identification number, the disablement personal identification number and the activation personal identification number being different; determining, by the computer device and as a result of receiving the disablement personal identification number, at least one disablement action to be performed by a device other than the automated teller machine; and transmitting, by the computer device, a command to perform the disablement action.
AUTOMATED MULTI-PARTY EVENT AND TRANSACTION DECISIONING SYSTEM
Methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media for detecting multi-party events and transactions are provided. User data may be monitored to detect data associated with an event involving multiple individuals, such as by identifying transaction data associated with certain types of merchants and/or scheduling, calendar, or correspondence data indicative of an event. The data may be further analyzed to identify a date, location, and/or parties associated with the event. A multi-party event may be generated. The user data may continue to be monitored to identify transactions associated with multiple parties and occurring during a time and/or at a location of the event. At a conclusion of the event, the transactions may be aggregated and an optimal payment scheme may be determined for settlement of the transactions between the parties. In accordance with the determined payment scheme, delegation of portions of the aggregated transactions may be initiated for settlement amongst the parties.
