Delivery of dynamic content based upon predetermined thresholds
A method for creating a unique digital experience based upon meeting a predefined threshold of users within a system comprising: detecting a machine-readable code with a user device and determining an identification of a user, the user device, or both; determining whether the identification of the user device contains a unique ID by querying a server; wherein if no unique ID is identified, issuing the unique ID to the user device; storing the unique ID within a database; determining a threshold of users for the system, wherein unique digital coupons are held until the meeting of said threshold; meeting said threshold and generating a unique digital coupon, said digital coupon being unique to the unique ID; and delivering the unique digital coupon to said user device.
System and method for toy adoption and marketing
A method that provides a virtual presentation includes receiving a user ID on a computer, creating a user account, registering first and second real-world products on the computer responsive to receiving first and second registration codes, and linking the first and second products with the user account. Responsive to the registering, first and second virtual representations of the respective real-world products are simultaneously displayed together in a virtual room. A control interface allows a user provided access via the user ID to select one of the first and second virtual representations for control. Subsequent access to said user account provides access to both first and second virtual representations without subsequent re-entry of either the first or second registration code.
Device, system, and method to quit smoking
A device, a system and a method for a patient attempting to quit smoking such that the program is configured to cause a computer to execute the steps of: receiving, from a patient-side electronic device, patient's understanding information indicative of the patient's understanding about a smoking-related matter, which is input by the patient, at a patient's understanding information acquisition timing decided based on at least one of an input of information indicative of a current patient's condition and smoking cessation-related health-care history information; deciding, based on the received patient's understanding information and correct response information for the smoking-related matter, whether or not the patient's understanding is incorrect; and, when decided to be incorrect, transmitting, to the patient-side electronic device, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) information based on the correct response information, wherein the CBT information includes information deemed to be correct with respect to the smoking-related matter.
Email-based transactions for e-commerce
An electronic commerce (e-commerce) system may send advertisement emails to customers that are registered with the e-commerce system. The advertisement emails may include mailto hyperlinks. Each mailto hyperlink may be associated with a product that is being offered for sale, and each mailto hyperlink describes an email message that may be generated when that hyperlink is selected. When a mailto hyperlink is selected, the generated email message may include one or more parameters related to the product associated with the hyperlink, such as an identifier of the product. The generated email message may then be transmitted to the e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may receive the message and, based on the parameters in the received message, execute a transaction to purchase the identified product on behalf of the customer.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISSEMINATING INFORMATION TO CONSUMERS
A computer implemented system including a primary user device operable to access and execute computer instruction code that, when executed, causes generation and sending of notifications to one or more secondary user devices, a database of previously collected data in respect of users of the secondary user devices where the one or more secondary user devices operated by users other than users of primary user devices, and a matching engine, wherein generated notifications are matched, by the matching engine, to the user of a secondary user device according to analysis of the previously collected data regarding the user of the secondary user device such that notifications sent to the secondary user device are relevant to the user of the secondary user device.
System for providing personalized advertisements based on current needs of user
A system for providing personalized advertisements based on current needs of user includes a media system, an advertisement system, and multiple user end devices. The media system provides a playing schedule for programs of digital media. The advertisement system provides various advertisements. The user end devices are connected to the media system and the advertisement system via packet transmission. A specific user end device submits an advertisement request to the media system to configure the type of interested advertisements. The media system matches the type of interested advertisement with the variety of advertisements provided in the advertisement system, so as to find a matched advertisement conforming to the type of interested advertisements and select an advertisement version therefrom. The selected advertisement versions are combined for being played when the media system plays a corresponding program on the specific user end device.
System and methods for upcoming event notification and mobile purchasing
A method of providing event notification of upcoming events is provided. A method may include receiving a search request comprising search criteria. The method may also include performing a first search for one or more upcoming events based on the search criteria. Further, the method may include modifying the search criteria and performing a second search for one or more upcoming events based on the modified search criteria. The method may further include determining an upcoming event based on at least one of the first search and the second search. In addition, the method may include transmitting a notification of the upcoming event from the network-based system to a user device.
Techniques for In-Store Prescription Notifications
A mobile device and a server exchange information in response to the mobile device detecting a proximity beacon. Upon detecting the proximity beacon, the mobile device initiates a web service call to the server. A mobile device user will indicate a choice whether to opt-in upon registration. If the user has opted in, the server will retrieve additional information about the user including prescription information. The server will transmit prescription information and other marketing information to the mobile device. The server may be configured to receive additional information from the mobile device, for example, a request for a prescription to be refilled.
