SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A HOLD AND SPIN GAME WITH PLAYER SELECTED VOLATILITY
A gaming machine provides a spinning reel game having a base game, from which a hold and spin game is triggered when a determined quantity of configurable symbols are displayed in a base game outcome. When the feature game is triggered, volatility options are presented to the player. After receiving a volatility selection that specifies a first control factor for a hold and spin game, the gaming machine conducts the hold and spin game per the specified first control factor while using at least another control factor to maintain a same return-to-player across the volatility options.
SPECIALIZED SLOT MACHINE FOR CONDUCTING A WAGERING GAME USING A CARD SYSTEM FOR REAL TIME OR LIVE ACTION EVENT CONTENT
A specialized slot machine for conducting a wagering tournament game using real time or live action event content are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: a gaming system configured to: provide a virtual deck of cards, wherein a plurality of virtual cards in the deck have been selected from a virtual pool of cards, wherein each of the plurality of virtual cards comprise identifying information and real-life statistics related to an athlete’s actions in real-life sporting events, wherein each of the plurality of virtual cards further comprise information indicative of: 1) an athlete’s name, 2) a name of a team for which an athlete plays, 3) a value of the virtual card determined by fantasy points a corresponding athlete is worth, 4) a position played by an athlete, and 5) bonus points or multipliers corresponding to the virtual card, the plurality of virtual cards in the deck have been selected from the virtual pool of cards to maintain a probability of the virtual cards in the deck generating a winning total based on real-life statistics of selected virtual cards in the deck within a pre-determined range, each of the plurality of virtual cards further comprise readable information indicative of a color of the card; randomly present at least three virtual cards in a bloc face up from the virtual deck of cards to a plurality of players; prompt the plurality of players to bid on the presented bloc of virtual cards or fold and exit a current round; accept bids from the plurality of players; and award the presented bloc of virtual cards to a winning player of the plurality of players with a best bid.
MULTIPLIER TRIGGER MECHANICAL WHEEL BONUS FEATURE
A wagering game, gaming machine, gaming network, and associated methods are disclosed wherein a wheel game includes dynamic paytable features associated with various trigger symbol types. Operating the gaming machine includes displaying a plurality of reels in each primary game including symbol locations which are updated with symbols to display the wager results, the reels including a plurality of wheel trigger symbols having a plurality of types each associated with a respective one of the wheel segment types. At least some wheel trigger symbols of each type including a multiplier value. A wheel spin selects a segment of a wheel. Responsive to the selected segment's type matching that of a selected wheel trigger symbol in the designated winning pattern, a wheel spin paytable is modified in a first display area applying the multiplier value of the selected wheel trigger symbol.
Gaming Device Having Prize Ladder Populated with Incrementable Prize Levels
A gaming device having a processor to control a display to display a set of prize levels having a bottom level, a variable level associated with a variable prize, and an intermediate level. In each of a plurality of game instances, the processor selects a plurality of symbols, control the display to display the selected symbols, determines whether the symbols displayed include increment symbols, upon the symbols displayed including the increment symbols, increments the variable prize by respective amounts of the increment symbols, evaluates symbols displayed for a winning combination, and the symbols displayed including the winning combination, increments from a current prize level to a different prize level in the set of prize levels provided the different prize level is not a top level. At an end of the plurality of game instances, the processor awards a current prize of the current prize level.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A FEATURE GAME
An electronic gaming machine includes a display device, a player input interface configured to receive player input from a player; and a game controller configured to execute instructions. The instructions cause the processor to display a plurality of game reels including a first game reel type having a plurality of symbol positions and a second game reel type including a grouped symbol position. The instructions also cause the processor to display a bonus symbol in the grouped system position and, in response to displaying the bonus symbol, to display an expanded display area comprising at least one additional symbol position located above the reels of the first game reel type. The instructions further cause the processor to determine a game outcome based upon a combination of the at least one additional symbol position and the plurality of symbol positions.
Gaming Device with Variable Symbol Replacement
A gaming device having a processor that selects symbols from a first set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and from a second set of reel strips for a plurality of columns of symbol positions, and controls a display to display the symbols selected including displaying, at each symbol position for which a defined symbol is selected, the defined symbol with the symbol selected at a respective symbol position. Upon the symbols selected including a qualifier symbol, the processor randomly selects one of at least two different symbol replacements, and determines, using the symbol replacements, a replacement symbol for the defined symbol selected. The processor updates the plurality of symbols to incorporate the replacement symbol, and evaluates the updated plurality of symbols for winning symbol combinations.
GAMING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING A SLIDING SYMBOL OPERATION
The present disclosure relates generally to systems and methods for providing sliding symbol operations in grid-base games. The sliding symbol operations allow a player of the gaming device to move, by sliding or dragging, a particular symbol from one cell to another in an array of cells between plays of the grid-based game. Movement of the particular symbol from one cell to another allows a player to control their chances of winning and alter the proposed payouts for winning sequences of symbols for at least one subsequent play of the grid-based game.
METHOD FOR A GAMING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method performed by a gaming system. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a scheme for further improving a randomness in a game provided by means of the gaming system. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding gaming system and a computer program product.
STACKED REEL MULTIPLIERS
A slot game may assign a multiplier value to a stacked reel having an outcome including a stack of special symbols or wild symbols. The assigned multiplier value may be selected based on a random game outcome of preceding reels. The slot game may display the stacked reel with the assigned multiplier value or by replacing the stack of special symbols with a single symbol and the assigned multiplier value. The slot game may display a merged multiplier value over adjacent stacked reels, the merged multiplier value being the product of the assigned multiplier values for each of the adjacent stacked reels.
Electronic gaming machine and method for providing a plurality of game outcomes and evaluating patterns of game outcomes to provide additional awards
An electronic gaming machine includes a processor configured to control a display device to display a matrix of game positions, initiate a plurality of games, and control the display device to display each game of the plurality of games in an associated game position of the matrix of game positions. The processor is also configured to determine an outcome of each game, where each outcome is a qualifying outcome or a non-qualifying outcome, as well as to evaluate the matrix of game positions to determine whether a qualifying pattern is formed in the matrix by at least two qualifying outcomes. In response to the qualifying pattern being formed, the processor is also configured to provide an award to a player of the electronic gaming machine. Each outcome may be individually evaluated to provide one or more additional awards to the player as well.
