Sensor network and a method for detecting an event in a sensor network
A sensor network comprising a first sensor (104) and a second sensor (101, 108), characterized in that: the first sensor (104) and the second sensor (101, 108) are configured to detect an event and to generate a message (M1, M2, M3) corresponding to the detected event; and wherein the sensor network is configured to provide an assessment of the message (M1) from the first sensor (104) based on the message (M2, M3) from the second sensor (101, 108).
ENERGY MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD
In one embodiment, a video surveillance, communications, and control system for the home is disclosed. The system may include one or more video cameras located in one or more rooms in a home, one or more motion detectors in one or more rooms in a home, one or more lights in the one or more rooms, each of the one or more lights being remotely controllable, and a console. The console may display video images sent from the one or more video cameras. The console may include a split screen capability for viewing one or more images of the one or more rooms, one or more buttons for remotely controlling lights in the one or more rooms, one or more motion indicators describing which of the one or more rooms have motion, and at least one button that enables a user to signal the police or security company.
Emergency Video Camera System
A surveillance system includes one or more camera systems at least some of the camera systems including a camera element comprising optical components to capture and process light to produce images, camera processing circuitry that receives the light and processes the light into electrical signals and encodes the signals into a defined format, power management circuitry to power the camera system, the power management system including first and second power interfaces and first and second video output interfaces.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING AND ANALYZING MULTIMEDIA INFORMATION
A UAV data processing and management system is provided including an encoder broadcaster and data manager which provides end users with a single interface for searching and sharing any video or imagery source, from any device with no client software required. Data inputs to the resource can include UAV video, photos, traffic cameras, fixed surveillance systems, iOS and Android device pictures, and other data (e.g., texts, emails) and inputs from all forms of social media, such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, etc. The cloud-based manager is built with collaboration and sharing in mind while at the same time maintaining data privacy, security protection, chain-of-custody control and audit trail maintenance. Analytic tools are integrated accordingly as plug-ins or as a store of available app resources which are easily removed, added and customized based on user needs and system requirements and cost constraints.
Tactical security system
A tactical security system can be used to secure a room. For example, such a security system may be contained in a housing sized for shipment to a location for placement in a room in order to secure the room. Various components may be included in the housing, such as a storage device configured to store data received from one or more audio or video recording devices; an access controller configured to interface with a badge reader associated with one or more access points to the room in order to selectively control access to the room; a switch configured to couple the one or more audio or video recording devices with the storage device and to couple the badge reader with the access controller; and/or a power supply configured to supply power to the devices in the housing.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND IMAGE DECODING APPARATUS
To provide an image processing system and an image decoding apparatus that can limit compression ratio decrease and image quality deterioration and efficiently reduce an information amount.
An image processing system that compresses and transmits an input image signal including pixel values corresponding to respective pixels, including: a dynamic range compression unit configured to compress, by a predetermined coefficient, a dynamic range of each of the pixel values corresponding to a background region other than a region of interest (ROI) designated as a desired region for the pixel values in an image based on the input image signal, to generate a low dynamic range image signal; a coding compression unit configured to compress the low dynamic range image signal in accordance with a predetermined image coding scheme to generate compressed image data; and a bit stream transmitter configured to output a bit stream signal including ROI information, the predetermined coefficient and the compressed image data.
REAL TIME SECURITY ALERT SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A method of detecting security incidents and generating alerts receives an input from an mmWave sensor device, such input associated with potential security incidents, such input indicating a region of interest where an object of interest is present; processes the received input using an artificial intelligence (AI) engine and generates predicted labels describing the object of interest and the potential security incidents; activates in response to a content of a generated predicted label, a video camera, processes the output from the video camera using the AI engine to generate predicted labels describing the object of interest and the potential security incidents; and provides alerts to at least one of a plurality of output devices, where a value of a predicted label indicates a detection of a particular object of interest or a particular security incident.
Gesture based interface for a premises security system
A control device in a premises security system configured to communicate with a premises device that includes a radar sensor for sensing hand gestures is provided. The control device receives signaling from the premises device indicative of a hand gesture, performs a first correlation of the hand gesture to a predetermined premises security system command, performs a second correlation of a verbal security password, a speaker voice recognition, a presence of the user's phone near the control device, a presence of a registered wearable near the control device, a camera viewing a registered home occupant inside the premises, or biometrics to the predetermined premises security system command, and performs a first action based on the first correlation and second correlation, such as arming or disarming the premises security system.
Emergency video camera system
A surveillance system includes one or more camera systems at least some of the camera systems including a camera element comprising optical components to capture and process light to produce images, camera processing circuitry that receives the light and processes the into electrical signals and encodes the signals into a defined format, power management circuitry to power the camera system, the power management system including first and second power interfaces and first and second video output interfaces.
Motion sensor light, surveillance system and surveillance method
A motion sensor light turns on a light once a motion sensor detects movement of a person. The light illuminates a monitoring area once the light is turned on. The motion sensor light initiates measurement of lighting duration of the light. After then, the motion sensor light initiates measurement of lights-out delay duration in a case where the movement of a person is no longer detected, and acquires a set value of the lights-out delay duration according to the lighting duration set in advance. The motion sensor light turns off the light in a case where a measured value of the lights-out delay duration exceeds the set value of the lights-out delay duration and a measured value of the lighting duration of the light exceeds a set value of the lighting duration.
