Low power gunshot sensor testing
Techniques for low power gunshot sensor testing are disclosed. An acoustic generator and an infrared generator are disposed in a housing. The housing encompasses the acoustic generator and the infrared generator. The housing covers the gunshot sensor. The acoustic generator and the infrared generator are used for testing a gunshot sensor. The infrared generator and the acoustic generator are coupled to an activation circuit. A switch is coupled to the acoustic generator and the infrared generator. The switch provides activation control of the acoustic generator and the infrared generator. The infrared generator includes a light source operating in the near-infrared (NIR) band. The light source operating in the NIR band provides testing for a gunshot muzzle flash sensor. The infrared generator includes a light source operating in the mid-infrared (MIR) band. The light source operating in the MIR band provides testing for a passive infrared (PIR) sensor.
HYPERLINKED DIGITAL VIDEO ALARM ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT
A digital video alarm electronic document system includes an alarm monitoring server including an alarm monitoring computer having non-transitory memory configured to store machine instructions that are to be executed by the computer. The machine instructions when executed by the computer implement the following function: transmitting an electronic document including a digital video frame associated with a digital video alarm event. The digital video frame is selectable and associated with a digital video clip hyperlink configured to activate when the digital video frame is selected. The digital video clip hyperlink is associated with a digital video clip. The functions also include playing the digital video clip in response to an activation of the digital video clip hyperlink associated with the digital video clips via selection of the digital video frame.
Control system user interface
Embodiments include systems and methods comprising a gateway located at a premise forming at least one network on the premise that includes a plurality of premise devices. A sensor user interface (SUI) is coupled to the gateway and presented to a user via a remote device. The SUI includes at least one display element. The at least one display element includes a floor plan display that represents at least one floor of the premise. The floor plan display visually and separately indicates a location and a current state of each premise device of the plurality of premise devices.
DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method of operating a doorbell system can include receiving, by a remote computing device, a notification of an emergency event and in response to the receiving, illuminating at least one light of a doorbell to indicate an occurrence of the emergency event. The method can further include, in response to receiving the notification, initiating a communication with an emergency dispatcher and/or an emergency contact. The at least one light can illuminate in a variety of colors and illumination patterns corresponding to the type of emergency event.
Device, system and method for generating an alert and an automatic search for a candidate subject
A device, system and method for generating an alert and an automatic search for a candidate subject is provided. The device monitors one or more data sources to identify a candidate subject. The device determines, from rules for rating candidate subjects stored in a memory, a rating of the candidate subject. When the rating meets a first threshold: the device transmits, to one or more communication devices, an alert identifying the candidate subject. When the rating meets a second threshold, lower than the first threshold: the devices provides, a classifier defining the candidate subject to an object recognition engine to cause the object recognition engine to automatically search for the candidate subject, using the classifier, in multimedia data received at one or more edge devices. The multimedia data may include images.
Attempted entry detection
Methods, systems, and apparatus for attempted entry detection are disclosed. A method for monitoring a property includes receiving, from a smart lock of a door located at a property monitored by a monitoring system, smart lock data that reflects a condition of the smart lock; receiving, from a sensor of the monitoring system, sensor data; analyzing the smart lock data and the sensor data; based on analyzing the smart lock data and the sensor data, determining that an attempted door entry is occurring; and in response to determining that an attempted door entry is occurring, performing a monitoring system action. Determining that an attempted door entry is occurring can include determining, based on the sensor data, that a person is located near the smart lock; and determining, based on analyzing the smart lock data, that the smart lock data satisfies criteria for an attempted door entry.
Low-power vehicle sentinel systems and methods
Low-power vehicle sentinel systems and methods are disclosed herein. An example method includes obtaining electromagnetic signals in a target area surrounding a vehicle. The electromagnetic signals can be obtained from electromagnetic elements mounted to the vehicle. The method can include determining attributes or behaviors of an object in the target area based on the electromagnetic signals and executing a response measure based on the attributes or behaviors of the object.
Low power gunshot detection
Techniques for low power gunshot detection are disclosed. Infrared information is collected using a gunshot sensor device. The infrared information is collected using mid-infrared band sensing to provide motion detection. Additional infrared information is buffered using the gunshot sensor device. The additional infrared information is collected using near-infrared band sensing. The buffering is enabled by the motion detection. Acoustic information is collected using the gunshot sensor device. The collecting acoustic information is enabled by the motion detection. A gunshot is detected using the gunshot sensor device. The detecting is based on the additional infrared information and the acoustic information. The detecting includes monitoring the acoustic information to identify a high-intensity gunshot sound and correlating the high-intensity gunshot sound to the infrared information that was buffered. The gunshot sensor device uses cable-free communication to a network and notifies the network of a possible gunshot occurrence.
CONFIGURABLE MOTION DETECTION AND ALERTS FOR AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING AND COMMUNICATION DEVICES
Some embodiments provide a method for separating the motion detection zone(s) of an A/V recording and communication device from the motion alert zone(s) of the A/V recording and communication device. For example, an A/V recording and communication device may be configured to generate motion alerts, and to record audio and video footage, when an event is detected within a selected motion alert zone (e.g., within a defined radius around the A/V recording and communication device). However, the A/V recording and communication device may not generate a motion alert for an event detected outside of the selected motion alert zone, even though the device may still record audio and video footage for the detected event (e.g., when the event is within a selected motion detection zone).
SECURITY AND SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM
A security and surveillance system identifies potential incidents in a target space, creates a report of such incidents, and sends notifications together with the created report to a remote user device. The system may include real-time surveillance devices, sensors, and trigger detectors, wherein the surveillance devices, the sensors, and the trigger detectors are in operable communication with an apparatus having a server, the server may be in communication with a remote user device, and a database.
