Musical sound control device, musical sound control method, and storage medium
A CPU 41 acquires a string vibration signal in a case where a string picking operation is performed with respect to the stretched string 22, analyzes a frequency characteristic of the acquired string vibration signal, determines whether or not the analyzed frequency characteristic satisfies a predetermined condition, and changes a frequency characteristic of a musical sound generated in the connected sound source 45 depending on a case where it is determined that the predetermined condition is satisfied or determined that the predetermined condition is not satisfied.
Electronic wind instrument
An electronic musical instrument includes: a contact sensor that generates lip detection information from an operation by a performer; and a controller that derives a lip contact area from the lip detection information generated by the contact sensor, and performs musical note control of an electronic sound source in accordance with the derived lip contact area.
POLYPEPTIDE HAVING PROTEASE ACTIVITY AND METHODS FOR INCREASING ITS ACTIVITY THEREOF
The present invention relates to a polypeptide having protease activity comprising a zinc finger protease domain, a helix-turn-helix domain and a GAF domain. The core protein sequence of the protease is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1. The invention also relates to optimized reaction conditions for the protease and methods of increasing the protease activity.
FLOOR EFFECT UNIT
A floor effect unit for actuating a musical effect device is provided. The floor effect unit includes a base plate having at least one electrode configured to collect electric charges; a conductive plate having at least one pressable portion configured to collect electric charges having a polarity opposite to the polarity of charges collected on the electrode, pressable portion being configured such that pressing thereon reduces the distance between the at least one pressable portion and the at least one electrode changing thereby the capacitance therebetween; and a spacer disposed between the base plate and the conductive plate and being configured to provide dielectric gap therebetween, a printed circuit board coupled to the at least one electrode and the conductive plate and being configured to generate an output signal for operating the musical effect device in response to a change in the capacitance.
METHOD FOR PLAYING VIRTUAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING THE SAME
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch screen display, at least one of a speaker and a sound interface, a processor configured to electrically connect to the touch screen display, the speaker, and the sound interface, and a memory configured to electrically connect to the processor. The memory stores instructions for, when executed, causing the processor to display at least one item comprising a musical instrument shape on the touch screen display, receive a touch input through the touch screen display, load sound data corresponding to the at least one item based on the touch input, process the sound data based at least in part on information associated with the touch input, and output the processed sound data through the speaker or the sound interface.
Musical Strum And Percussion Controller
A controller for musical instrument models is presented, comprising acoustic elements with embedded vibration sensors that the user actuates for example by plucking, strumming, or striking the elements. A vibration sensor attached to each acoustic element is used to generate an excitation signal for musical instrument models. A note input interface can be included so that note input such as MIDI can be used to control the musical pitch of the musical instrument models.
Indicator device, electronic musical instrument, light emission control method and storage medium
An indicator device includes a plurality of light emitters and at least one processor. The processor obtains, at intervals of a first period, a first period maximum value representing a maximum volume among a plurality of pieces of volume information based on an input signal. The processor obtains, for each second period including a plurality of first periods each being the first period, a minimum value among first period maximum values each being the first period maximum value as a second period minimum value and a maximum value among the first period maximum values as a second period maximum value. The processor controls light emission of the light emitters based on a relative ratio of a predetermined first period maximum value among the first period maximum values. The relative ratio is based on the second period minimum value and the second period maximum value.
Method and Apparatus for Position Sensing of a Musician Hands
A device includes a sensor circuit configured for installation in a stringed instrument such that the sensor circuit is electrically distinct from a pickup circuit of the stringed instrument, the pickup circuit including a pickup disposed proximate a string of the stringed instrument and configured to produce an audio signal of the stringed instrument in response to a movement of the string, and the string, the sensor circuit including a capacitive sensor and a sensor processing circuit in electronic communication with the capacitive sensor configured to produce a data signal based on a state of the capacitive sensor.
Stringed musical instrument and acoustic effect device
A stringed musical instrument includes: a musical instrument body configured such that a string is attached thereto; a pickup configured to: i) detect vibration of the string and ii) output a string vibration signal according to the vibration; a detection sensor that is: i) attached to the musical instrument body and ii) configured to output a detection signal according to a force applied to the musical instrument body; and a controller that is attached to the musical instrument body, and is configured to output, based on the detection signal, a control signal configured to control an operation of an effector configured to impart an effect to the string vibration signal.
ELECTRONIC MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND SYSTEMS
This disclosure relates generally to electronic musical instruments, systems, and methods. More particularly, this disclosure relates to electronic percussion instruments such as tom toms, snare drums, bass drums, cymbals, and hi-hats, and assemblies of instruments (e.g., percussion instruments), such as drum sets. Even more particularly, this disclosure relates to wireless electronic percussion instruments, and percussion instruments with interchangeable and/or removable components to change the instrument between a traditional percussion instrument (that relies on resonance and/or vibration to produce sound) and an electronic percussion instrument. The present disclosure also relates to electronic cymbal instruments, such as cymbal assemblies and hi-hat assemblies, that can be used in conjunction with a traditional acoustic metal cymbal.
