A photosensitive layer included in an electrophotographic photosensitive member contains at least a charge generating material, a hole transport material, and a binder resin. The hole transport material includes a compound (1). The binder resin includes a polyarylate resin having at least one repeating unit (10) and at least one repeating unit (11). Alternatively, the binder resin includes a polycarbonate resin having a repeating unit (20) and a repeating unit (21). The general formulas (1), (10), (11), (20), and (21) are as follows

An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer is a single layer. The photosensitive layer contains a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin. The hole transport material includes a compound represented by chemical formula (1-1) or (1-2). The photosensitive layer further contains an n-type pigment. The n-type pigment is preferably an azo pigment or a perylene pigment.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate and a photosensitive layer disposed on the conductive substrate. An outermost surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor contains fluorine-containing resin particles and a fluorine-containing graft polymer having a structural unit represented by general formula (FA), a structural unit represented by general formula (FB), and a structural unit represented by general formula (FC): ##STR00001##

An electrophotographic photosensitive member (1) includes a conductive substrate (2) and a photosensitive layer (3). The photosensitive layer (3) is a single-layer photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer (3) contains at least a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin. The charge generating material includes a metal-free phthalocyanine. The hole transport material includes a triphenylamine derivative represented by general formula (1) shown below. The electron transport material includes a quinone derivative represented by general formula (2) shown below. In general formula (1), R.sup.1 R.sup.2, R.sup.3, m1, m2, k, p, and q are the same as those described in the description. In general formula (2), R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 are the same as those described in the description.

A single-layer photosensitive layer of an electrophotographic photosensitive member contains a charge generating material, a hole transport material, an electron transport material, and a binder resin. The charge generating material is a phthalocyanine pigment. A content percentage of the phthalocyanine pigment relative to the mass of the photosensitive layer is at least 0.70% by mass and no greater than 1.40% by mass. A film thickness of the photosensitive layer is at least 25 m and no greater than 32 m. A charge amount difference Q is no greater than 6.50 C.
ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE MEMBER, PROCESS CARTRIDGE, AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS
The present disclosure provides an electrophotographic photosensitive member that reduces the accumulation of charge and the leakage which are caused by a repeated use in a long period of time. The electrophotographic photosensitive member has a support, an undercoat layer, a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer in this order, wherein the undercoat layer contains a polyamide resin, and a titanium oxide particle, wherein the titanium oxide particle has been surfacetreated with an organosilicon compound, wherein the undercoat layer satisfies 1070, where represents a degree [%] of hydrophobicity of the titanium oxide particle which has been surfacetreated with the organosilicon compound; and the undercoat layer satisfies 0.015()0.040, where represents an average primary particle size [m] of the titanium oxide particles, and represents a weight percentage [wt %] of an Si element of the organosilicon compound with respect to the titanium oxide particle.

A negatively-charged laminated electrophotographic photoreceptor that can be charged by a scorotron charging method, and includes a conductive substrate, and a charge generation layer and a charge transport layer sequentially provided on the conductive substrate, wherein the charge generation layer contains a charge generation material and a resin binder that is a poly(vinyl butyral) resin binder, and the charge transport layer contains a charge transport material that is either or both of stilbene compounds represented by the Formula (1) and Formula (2), a binder resin, and an oxidation inhibitor that is tribenzylamine:

The electrophotographic photoreceptor is superior in ozone resistance and is capable of suppressing deterioration of image quality even in an atmosphere containing ozone at a higher concentration than before when a scorotron charging method is used, as well as an electrophotographic device equipped with the same.

An object of the present invention is to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which can prevent an increase in potential even using a fluorine resin in a charge transport layer, and can achieve both electrical properties and abrasion resistance, and present invention relates to a lamination type electrophotographic photoreceptor, in which a charge transport layer of the lamination type electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a compound having an E_homo of 4.550 eV or more based on structure optimization calculation by density functional calculation B3LYP/6-31G (d, p) and fluorine resin particles, and a content of the fluorine resin particles is 3% by weight to 20% by weight based on a total mass of the charge transport layer.
