Information processing apparatus and control method therefor
Delivery form information on a print product is acquired, position information indicating a position of quality inspection on the print product is generated in accordance with the acquired delivery form information, and quality report data including the position information is generated.
INKJET PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING METHOD
Provided are an inkjet printing device and a printing method capable of grasping a position of a non-product image, such as a jetting state monitoring pattern, on a continuous medium. An inkjet printing device includes a medium transport mechanism that transports a continuous medium (12) in a medium transport direction, an inkjet head that prints a user image on the continuous medium, one or more processors, and one or more memories that are connected to the processors and store commands which are able to be executed by using the processors, in which the processor reads out the command from the memory and prints non-product image position information (304) including information on a position of a non-product image (302) printed on the continuous medium in the continuous medium at a position (12A) on a downstream side of a region in which the non-product image is printed in the medium transport direction.
PRINT JOB MANAGEMENT METHOD, PRINTING METHOD, PRINT JOB MANAGEMENT DEVICE, PRINTING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A technique is provided with which it is possible to effectively consume a plurality of continuous base materials with different remaining amounts. A job list and a continuous paper list are prepared. The job list registers job attribute information that includes print length information that indicates the length of continuous paper necessary for printing of each print job. The continuous paper list registers continuous-base-material attribute information that includes paper remaining information that indicates a remaining length of each roll of continuous paper. Then, a job batch is generated in accordance with the continuous-paper attribute information and the job attribute information. The job batch defines one roll of continuous paper and a print job, the continuous paper being selected from among the continuous paper list, the print job being extracted from among the job list and printable on the selected continuous paper.
Tape Printer and Recording Medium
The disclosure discloses a tape printer including a data receiving portion, a display control portion, and a print control portion. The data receiving portion is configured to receive talk data containing plural pieces of speech related data along a time series, the speech related data including speech display texts from each of a first and a second speaker. The display control portion is configured to control the display device so that the plural pieces of speech related data is arrayed and displayed in order of the time series along a tape length direction, and first and second speech related data respectively in relation to the first and second speaker contained in the talk data are displayed in mutually different forms. The print control portion is configured to control a printing head to form a plurality of print objects corresponding respectively to the plural pieces of speech related data.
Print Layout Generating Device, and Non-Transitory Storage Medium Storing Computer-Readable Instructions to Generate Print Layout
A non-transitory storage medium storing computer-readable instructions which cause, when executed by a controller, cause the print layout generating device to display a first image indicative of a layout area in which objects can be arranged, display a second image indicative of a database including at least one field, and at least one record for the at least one field, the at least one record containing character data corresponding to each of at least one field, receive a first operation to select at least one field, receive a second operation to select a position within the layout area, identify a position of the selected object within the layout area, generating print layout data in which the selected object and a selected field are associated with each other. Selected characters corresponding to the selected field of the database are arranged within the selected objects for each record of the database.
Recording medium
The disclosure discloses a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a virtual label display process program for executing steps. The steps include a composite image generating step, a composite image output step, a determining step, and a notifying step. In the composite image generating step, a real image data of a desired field of view and a virtual image data of a label are combined. In the composite image output step, a composite image data is output to a display device, and a virtual image of the label on the display device is superimposed and displayed. In the determining step, it is determined whether a desired suitability is satisfied between an exterior appearance of a background object and an exterior appearance of the label based on the real image data and the virtual image data. In the notifying step, a predetermined suitability notification is made.
CONTROL PLAN FOR PAPER, SHEET, AND BOX MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
Systems for providing efficient manufacturing of paper, sheet, and/or box products of varying size and structure, often with pre-applied print (“pre-print”), are provided herein. One or more controllers can be used to aggregate orders and information to prepare one or more control plans (e.g., reel maps, reel plans, etc.) for processing a roll of web product through the manufacturing process. The control plan may include a set of instructions for operating one or more systems within the manufacturing process to form the desired finished paper-based product. In such a regard, efficient manufacturing of various paper-based products, including corrugated boxes, folded carton, labels, flexible paper, industrial bags, plates, cups, décor, and many others, can be achieved. Further, efficient customer ordering/tracking, job aggregation, print imposition, corrugator planning, and tracking and adjustments throughout the manufacturing process are contemplated.
IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming system of an aspect of the present invention includes: a first image forming portion; a second image forming portion connected in series to the first image forming portion; and an assignment determining portion that determines an assignment of image formation of print data to the first image forming portion and the second image forming portion in accordance with contents of the print data. The first image forming portion forms a first image on the continuous sheet on the basis of the assignment determined by the assignment determining portion, and the second image forming portion forms a second image on a region which is different from a region where the first image is formed on the continuous sheet and which overlaps a non-printable region that is a region where the first image forming portion cannot print, on the basis of the assignment determined by the assignment determining portion.
Manufacturing of decorative workpieces by inkjet
A method for manufacturing decorative workpieces includes the step of nesting a set of decorative patterns digitally printed on a decoration layer to reduce the waste of decoration layer. To perform a corresponding relief for the nested decorative patterns on a nested decorative workpiece, the relief provided by a digital relief apparatus is in a correct match with the nested decorative workpiece. If the printing zone of the digital printer has a failure zone, the nesting method prevents arranging of the decorative patterns in this failure zone.
PRINTING DEVICE, PRINTING SYSTEM, AND CONTROL METHOD OF A PRINTING DEVICE
A printing device can reduce the length of roll paper that is printed, and enables easily knowing how much the printed length of roll paper was reduced. A printer 200 has a print unit 240 that conveys roll paper in the conveyance direction H and executes a printing process of printing images on the roll paper; a reduction processor 222 that controls the print unit 240 in the printing process to reduce the length of roll paper to which images are printed in the conveyance direction; a calculator 223 that calculates how much the printed length of roll paper was reduced in the printing process; and a display unit 252 that displays information indicating the reduction in the printed length of the roll paper calculated by the calculator 223.
