A print setting corresponding to a folder referable by an external apparatus is stored in an image formation apparatus, storage of a file in the folder is detected, the detected file is moved to a storage area in the image formation apparatus, and a print job is generated based on the moved file and information about the print setting corresponding to the detected folder.

Techniques are disclosed relating to a system capable of processing instances of different versions of a workflow. The system may store workflow information indicating different versions of a workflow. The system may receive requests to create instances of the workflow. The requests may include a first request associated with a first, non-current version of the workflow and a second request associated with a second, different version of the workflow. The computer system may create a set of instances of the workflow, including a particular instance corresponding to the first request. The computer system may receive a request to migrate the particular instance to a particular version different from the non-current version associated with the first request. The computer system may migrate the particular instance to the particular version of the workflow, such that subsequently received instance data for the migrated particular instance is processed according to the particular version.

An information processing apparatus includes at least one processor. The processor is configured to create, under a first folder associated with a cloud system used by the information processing apparatus, a second folder set to perform operations provided by the cloud system, and is configured to perform control to perform the operations provided by the cloud system set in the second folder if a document is registered in the second folder.

According to one embodiment, a method for formatting variable data production of a document can comprise defining, by a document production system, a set of rules. The set of rules can comprise one or more of a derived rule, a matching rule, or a formatting rule associated with one or more data objects of the document. The set of rules can be applied to the associated one or more data objects of the document based on dependencies between the rules in the set of rules. The dependencies between the rules in the set of rules are resolved in a hierarchically vertical manner. One or more custom documents can be generated based on the applied set of rules.

A system includes an information processing apparatus that requests access to a file system managed by an image forming apparatus, receives a program for determining a transfer order of a plurality of print files designated by a screen and, in a case where a plurality of print files are stored in the folder via the displayed screen, executes the received program to determine a transfer order of the plurality of print files. The deletion controller stores a predetermined plurality of keywords each indicating a saving period of the document data, and deletes the document data stored in the document box including at least one of the plurality of keywords in the box name thereof, the delete being performed in accordance with the saving period indicated by the included keyword.
