System for closing packaging and system for authenticating packaging comprising a frangible radiofrequency identification tag
A package closure system has a frangible radiofrequency identification label which is protected from the external environment by a cover and the frangible label is damaged preventing its normal operation when the package cover is removed. More specifically, a package closure system has a cover, a metallic induction seal attached to the package nozzle and a frangible radiofrequency identification label in which the frangible radiofrequency identification label is attached directly or indirectly to one of its parts on the inner portion of the cover and on another part on the outer portion of the metallic seal.
SYSTEM FOR CLOSING PACKAGING AND SYSTEM FOR AUTHENTICATING PACKAGING COMPRISING A FRANGIBLE RADIOFREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION TAG
Package closing system and package authentication system comprising cover (4), seal (3) attached to the package nozzle (2) and frangible type radiofrequency identification label (6), characterized by the frangible type radiofrequency identification label (6) to be attached directly or indirectly to one of its parts on the inner portion of the cover (4i) and on another part on the outer portion of the seal (3e), so that the opening of the cover (4) leads to the destruction of the frangible type radio frequency identification label (6).
Sticker with IC tag
A sticker with IC tag comprises: an antenna portion; and an IC chip coupled to the antenna portion and having a function of communicating through the antenna portion. The sticker with IC tag is installed on a covered container. The sticker with IC tag comprises a single-stroke line portion, which is coupled to the IC chip and adhered to an upper surface of a cover portion of the covered container. The IC chip detects disconnection of the single-stroke line portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DETECTING PRODUCT LABEL REMOVAL USING RFID TAG DEVICES
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided using RFID devices to assist in detecting retail product label removal. For example, a system includes a product identifier including a base substrate, a first RFID tag device, a second RFID tag device, a metallic substrate, a first attachment mechanism, and a second attachment mechanism. By one approach, the first attachment mechanism is configured to fail with an application of a lower separation force than the second attachment mechanism, such that upon an action causing a separation force to separate the base substrate from a first retail product will cause the first attachment mechanism to fail such that the base substrate will be removed from the metallic substrate and the first retail product. In some embodiments, upon this separation and removal, the second RFID tag device will then be readable by the RFID tag reader.
Flexible label with activating circuitry
A label sensor that can be affixed to an item includes a first section and a second section. The first section includes a memory, an environmental sensor, a radio frequency (RF) front end that includes a tuning circuit, and a processing module. The processing module is operably coupled to the memory, the environmental sensor, and the RF front end. The second section includes an activation circuit that is operable, upon receiving an input, to activate one or more of the memory, the environmental sensor, the RF front end and the processing module. The activation causes the label sensor to be put in a first operational mode of a plurality of operational modes.
MEDICINAL DOSAGE STORAGE AND METHOD FOR COMBINED ELECTRONIC INVENTORY DATA AND ACCESS CONTROL
Disclosed are apparatuses and methodologies for achieving current inventory data management with an electronic access control system. An access control system provides access control data while a sealed enclosure incorporates an RFID reading system for determining the identity of respective tagged contents therein. Particularly in conjunction with the storage of controlled substances, such as some drugs utilized on an EMS vehicle, a tamper evident RFID tag is fully or partially destroyed or damaged, or otherwise impacted or affected so as to generate a changed ID, whenever the contained medicinal dosage is acquired for administration. Specific container/cap combinations accommodate various drug dosages, and are combinable with tamper evident RFID tags. Usage of tagged drugs may be tracked by reading narcotics box contents before and after a work shift. Intra-shift access and usage reports at each point of consumption maintains a complete record of custody of control.
PACKAGE FOR TOBACCO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING A RFID TAG
A package (24; 124; 224) for tobacco products or tobacco related commodities or smoking devices includes an RFID tag (10; 110) which comprises a sealing portion (14) and is embedded in or attached to the package. The sealing portion (14) is destroyed when the package is opened. The RFID tag is configured to transmit, on request of a reader device (34), a status information indicating whether the sealing portion (14) is intact or has been destroyed.
ELECTRONIC LABELS
In a non-limiting example, a label strip including a plurality of electronic labels is provided. Each electronic label includes a power source, an electronic control circuitry, and a sensor which is controllable by the electronic control circuitry. Each electronic label is separable from the label strip and the sensor is inactive prior to separation of an electronic label from the label strip.
Metal cap with RFID tag and container comprising same
A metal cap is provided with an RFID tag that includes a metal cap including a cylindrical main body part, a top plate part formed at one end of the cylindrical main body part, and an opening part formed at the other end of the cylindrical main body part, and an RFID tag disposed on the metal cap. The RFID tag includes an RFIC element disposed in the metal cap, and a loop antenna connected to the RFIC element. At least a portion of a loop opening of the loop antenna extends in a circumferential direction R of the metal cap while being exposed from an opening edge of the opening part of the metal cap to the outside of the metal cap.
Tamper evident secure pack with anchored card carrier
A transaction card and carrier system. The system includes a panel assembly and transaction card assembly. The transaction card assembly includes a transaction card and one or more snap-off portions selectively detachable from the transaction card along a line of weakness. The transaction card assembly is anchored between at least two panels of the panel assembly along or within a seam or bind area formed by sealing the at least two panels together around or over the snap-off portion. At least one of the panels can further include one or more tamper indicating patterns, such as a starburst pattern. The transaction card assembly is adhered to the one or more tamper indicating patterns such that removal of the card ruptures the pattern.
