20180299292 · 2018-10-18 ·

Embodiments are disclosed to monitor and present a user's physical activity as part of an analog wellness device. The device may include two motors that are coupled to respective discs such that, when rotated, various regions are visible through respective windows. The first of these motors may rotate a first disc based upon a measured number of steps taken by the user, which may be part of a daily fitness activity goal. As the first motor rotates the first disc, the region visible through the first window may indicate a proportion of the fitness activity goal that has been met or exceeded. The second of these motors may turn a second disc based upon a period of time associated with the user's inactivity. The regions visible through the second window may indicate the period of time that the user has been inactive. The top surface of each respective disc may include one or more symbols to communicate information to a user.

Position information prompting method, device and system

The present invention discloses a position information prompting method, device, and system. A designated server receives from a portable locator multiple position point information obtained according to pre-set time and positioning time corresponding to each position point information, generates a movement track of the portable locator, and records the movement track; then, when the designated server receives the current position point information transmitted by the portable locator, according to the current position point information, an alert signal is generated if the current position point corresponding to the current position point information is not on the recorded movement track. A guardian holding a monitoring terminal can be ensured to know at any time whether the person being monitored and holding the portable locator is on a strange road, and thereby the safety information of the monitored person is mastered, and the user experience is enhanced.

Approaches for managing alerts on detecting occurrence of a plurality of events within a premises, are described. According to one example, a control unit and a plurality of alert generating units may be provided. The control unit may receive sensor data generated by a sensing unit. The sensor data may then be processed to ascertain occurrence of an event from among the plurality of events. Once the event is ascertained, a set of visual indicators, from among one or more visual indicators, associated with the event may be identified for being rendered by at least one alert generating unit, from among the plurality of alert generating units. Further, an activation signal may be transmitted to the at least one alert generating unit for rendering the set of visual indicators to indicate occurrence of the event.

Wearable passive scanning device

Features are disclosed for a wearable scanning device that can passively initiate scanning for wireless identifiers such as RFID tags. The wearable scanning device may include a force sensor, an accelerometer, or a motion activated switch that can initiate the scanning when detecting an action performed by an associate (e.g., lifting) without an express intent from the associate to scan.

The present invention provides an information communication technology-based unmanned alert system for autonomously determining whether an intruder is present, notifying a user of invasion information, using a 4G LTE network, and forcing the intruder out. The present invention comprises: an unmanned monitoring device (20) comprising an information collection unit for collecting surrounding situation information, a wireless communication unit for a monitoring device, which wirelessly transmits or receives information, using an LTE communication scheme, and a first control unit for transmitting or receiving information collected by the information collection unit through the wireless communication unit for a monitoring device; and a mobile terminal (50) comprising a wireless communication unit for a terminal, which wirelessly transmits or receives information to or from the wireless communication unit for a monitoring device, and a second control unit for displaying, on a display unit, surrounding situation information received by a wireless transmission unit for a terminal. Therefore, the unmanned monitoring device (20) transmits or receives intruder information to or from the mobile terminal (50) through an image and a text, so that a watcher can understand the intruder information.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ANALYTICS SELECTION BASED ON PURSUIT-CONTEXT DETAILS

A method and system for analytics selection based on pursuit-context details is disclosed. The method includes tracking a pursuer object and a pursued object, and using analytics on video or image data corresponding to the pursuer object and/or the pursued object to determine at least one pursuit-context detail. The pursuit-context detail(s) are matched to a select one of a plurality of object behavior-targeted analytics.
