The present invention relates to an enclosure for recess mounting of a camera or camera head in a recess of a surface, the enclosure comprising an attachment portion, a cable sealing portion being adapted to seal against an outer surface of the cable extending through the cable sealing portion, and a circumferential wall portion adapted to extend along a closed path in a circumferential direction and in a first direction extending from the attachment portion towards the cable sealing portion, wherein at least a portion of the circumferential wall portion is formed of a flexible and/or elastic material such that the cable sealing portion is movable relative the attachment portion. The present invention also relates to an arrangement for recess mounting of a camera or camera head in a recess of a surface.
Digital jukebox device with improved user interfaces, and associated methods
Certain exemplary embodiments relate to entertainment systems that interact with users to provide access to media appropriate to and/or customized for a particular user using the entertainment system, the location at which the entertainment system is being accessed, and/or a predefined event. For example, in certain exemplary embodiments, an entertainment system in a location is configured to provide jukebox-related and entertainment system mediated services that are accessible from within and from the outside of the location, and provide (1) attract or flight media operations, (2) browsing services, and/or (3) search screens appropriate to and/or customized for a particular user using the entertainment system, the location at which the entertainment system is being accessed, and/or a predefined event. Such screens may be provided with a three-dimensional look-and-feel in certain exemplary embodiments.
Smart system powered by light socket
A smart system includes a connector plug that fits into a bulb socket; a processor to control the smart system; and at least one of a receiver and a transmitter coupled to the processor for receiving or transmitting data.
Nodal Monitoring Device and System
A monitoring device with a board case having an open end and a closed end partially defining a lower housing space; a lid connected to the board case at the closed end to define an upper housing space; a power supply within the first housing space; a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) within the lower housing space and electrically connected through the closed end of the board case to the power supply, the PCBA having a CPU module with computer readable memory; a bracket assembly within the lower housing space; a camera module mechanically fixed to the bracket assembly; and a lens cover at least partially surrounding the camera module. In a network with a plurality of such devices, each device may be configured to communicate directly with each of the other monitoring devices without the use of a centralized server.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR USER FEEDBACK IN A MOTION CONSTRAINED IMAGE STABILIZATION SYSTEM
The disclosure describes systems and methods for a stabilization mechanism. The stabilization mechanism may be used in conjunction with an imaging device. The method may be performed by a control system of the stabilization mechanism and includes obtaining a device setting from an imaging device. The method may also include obtaining a configuration of the stabilization mechanism. The method includes determining a soft stop based on the device setting, the configuration, or both. The soft stop may be a virtual hard stop that indicates to the stabilization mechanism to reduce speed as a field of view of the imaging device approaches the soft stop. The method may also include setting an image stabilization mechanism parameter based on the determined soft stop.
HOME SECURITY LIGHT BULB ADAPTER
An electrically powered home security pathway fixture includes a head unit and a spike at a top end and a bottom end of an elongated body, respectively. An integrated camera configured to recognize an approaching object according to features stored in a database; a motion sensor coupled to the integrated camera and a light emitter for illumination which is activated by either: the motion sensor or detected ambient light level being below a threshold. A wireless communications interface configured to send video signals captured by the camera directly to a remote device via the wireless communications interface, after the server/database confirming that the recognized features of the approaching object is not on an approved list.
Camera mount plate and module access slide for poles used for roadside electronic systems
A system comprises a pole, a conduit track, and a sliding assembly that slides along the conduit track. The pole is configured to support an optical system that includes a camera or antenna. The sliding assembly and conduit track are disposed within an interior of the pole. The sliding assembly supports electrical components used in operation of the optical system, such as power components, storage devices, and communication modules. Cables extend from the optical system, through the conduit track, and to the electrical components supported by the sliding assembly. An access opening along the pole provides an operator easy access to the electrical components. Moreover, all of the electrical components and cables are disposed within the pole and protected from outside elements. The system allows electronic systems power and optics to be deployed in a cost effective, efficient and secure manner in locations alongside roads and other access ways.
Universal plate adapter
An apparatus includes a power adapter, a security camera and a base. The power adapter may be configured to receive an AC power source, pass through the AC power source to a light bulb and generate DC power by converting the AC power source. The security camera may be configured to receive the DC power from the power adapter. The security camera may comprise a camera module. The base may comprise an opening for a light fixture and an attachment location. The power adapter may be electrically connected to the attachment location. The power adapter may receive the AC power source from an electrical connection for the light fixture. The security camera may be configured to receive the DC power from the power adapter. The security camera may be removably attached to the attachment location. The camera module may be located beyond a front face of the light fixture.
USING A DYNAMIC NUMBER OF POWER SOURCES FOR A CAMERA MOUNTABLE ON RETAIL SHELVING UNIT
A mobile power source is provided. The mobile power source includes a housing configured to retain at least one battery. The housing includes first and second guiding channels configured to engage with a track associated with a retail shelving unit. The mobile power source further includes a first electrical connector configured to electrically connect the mobile power source to a control unit for an image capture device; a second electrical connector configured to electrically connect the mobile power source to an additional mobile power source or a power grid; and circuitry configured to convey power from the additional mobile power source to the image capture device when the mobile power source is connected to the additional mobile power source, and to convey power from the power grid to the image capture device when the mobile power source is connected to the power grid.
Integrated Power and Processing Device for Roadside Sensor Systems
The present invention relates to a novel system to integrate the critical components needed to power, control, and communicate with a roadway surveillance or monitoring system, such as a roadside camera system, into a small, self-contained and “unobtrusive” package so as to enable roadside surveillance or monitoring in an aesthetically appealing and functional package. This package may be inserted into a traffic pole, a utility pole, a light pole, or the like, whereas prior art systems were simply connected to an exterior surface thereof. The package may also be configured such the top cap is oversized and can slide in (and be secured, such as by screws or other securing means) but will not fall through the external structural pole or tube in which it resides. Such an “in-pole” integrated processing device has many advantages over the prior art.
