11636745 · 2023-04-25 · ·

An electronic apparatus and a method are provided for detection of animal intrusions and control of a repellent mechanism to prevent such intrusions. The electronic apparatus controls an image-capture device to acquire an image of a house yard and selects a set of zones in the acquired image based on a user-specified setting. The electronic apparatus detects an animal in the acquired image and controls the repellent mechanism based on a determination that the detected animal is in a zone which is among the selected set of zones, to target the detected animal.

MONITORING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

Provided is a monitoring apparatus including a communication unit which receives streaming data and metadata of a video from each of a plurality of cameras installed indoors when the cameras obtain videos by capturing specific areas, respectively; a metadata analysis unit which analyzes the received metadata and extracts information about an event that occurred; a video selection unit which selects a video containing an area in which the event occurred from the videos based on the extracted information about the event; and a screen unit which receives the selected video from the video selection unit and immediately displays the received video when the monitoring apparatus is operated.

This disclosure lies in the field of a computer implemented method of routing a video call from a call center computer system comprising a controller, a transceiver, and a machine learning system, to a product service agent computer system assigned to a certain medical device product type and associated services. This disclosure involves using artificial intelligence in order to identify a medical device product based on recorded product image data. Further aspects of this disclosure provide a corresponding call center computer system for routing a video call initiated by a mobile device from the call center computer system to a medical device product service agent computer system as well as a computer-implemented method for generating a model of a medical device product type.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR BUILDING SURVEILLANCE RE-IDENTIFICATION BASED ON A BUILDING GRAPH

A building system can operate to receive a request to generate a video tracking movement of an entity throughout the building. The building system can operate to search, based on a building graph, a database for a set of images or videos of cameras of the building that track the entity throughout the building. The building graph can include nodes indicating spaces of the building and the cameras of the building. The building graph can include building graph including edges between the nodes representing relationships between the spaces and the cameras. The building system can operate to join the set of images or videos together to create the video.

SURVEILLANCE DEVICE, SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM, AND SURVEILLANCE METHOD

A surveillance device of the present disclosure includes an image analysis server that generates an alarm when detecting an alarm generation target that has entered an intrusion detection area, based on a camera image captured by a camera. The image analysis server acquires the camera image (basic image) to set a fixed object area (basic area) corresponding to a fixed object included in the basic image, acquires a camera image (live image) to extract a fixed object area (reference area) corresponding to a fixed object included in the live image, calculates a deviation amount of an angle of view based on a result of a comparison in standard position between the basic area and the reference area, and generates a surveillance screen including an adjustment screen for guidance on an operation for cancelling the deviation amount of the angle of view to display the surveillance screen.

Systems and methods for video display

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for video display. The system may include at least one processor that is directed to concurrently display a plurality of videos via a display device. Each of the plurality of videos may correspond to a camera channel. In response to receiving an input signal associated with at least one of the plurality of videos, the at least one processor is directed to jointly display the at least one of the plurality of videos and one or more correlated videos via the display device. The camera channels of the one or more correlated videos may be correlated with that of the at least one of the plurality of videos.

Techniques for video analytics of captured video content

Techniques for video analytics of captured video content are described. An apparatus may comprise a flash memory, a serial bus, and a processor circuit coupled to the flash memory and the serial bus. The processor circuit may comprise a multi-core central processing unit (CPU) and an integrated graphics processing unit (GPU). The processor circuit may receive captured video content via a local communication link, perform video analytics on the captured video content; and send data associated with the performed video analytics to a network interface, for communication to a remote device via a network communication link. Other examples are described and claimed.

Automatic profiling of video analytics applications

Methods and systems for deploying a video analytics system include determining one or more applications for a security system in an environment, including one or more constraints. Each functional module in a directed graph representation of one or more applications is profiled to generate one or more configurations for each functional module. The nodes of each graph representation represent functional modules of the respective application, and repeated module configurations are skipped. Resource usage for each of the one or more applications is estimated using the one or more configurations of each functional module and the one or more constraints. The one or more applications are deployed in the environment.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM WITH DRONE SUPPORT

A surveillance system includes fixed video cameras and mobile security devices. Each mobile security device includes a mobile video camera, a memory, a transceiver and a controller that is configured to receive instructions from a surveillance system controller to fly to a particular location at which an incident is believed to be occurring and to instruct the mobile video camera to capture video of the incident. In some cases, the controller of the mobile security device is configured to solicit and receive one or more video streams from fixed video cameras that are determined to meet predetermined criteria with respect to the incident, and store the one or more received video streams in the memory. The controller of the mobile security device may subsequently transmit the collected video streams to the surveillance system controller.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INTRUDER DETECTION

The present invention provides a robust and effective solution to an entity or an organization by enabling them to implement a system for facilitating intruder detection that is highly accurate especially for enhancing critical security zones. The intruder detection system (IDS) can provide high true positives and extremely low false positives. The system may be developed using techniques from artificial intelligence and computer vision and is focused on highly optimised intruder detection with equal attention paid to both accuracy and speed. The area of use is highly diverse and can be used mainly for surveillance and security purposes, be it right from outdoor areas such as perimeter walls, campuses to indoor areas such as malls, factory floors, and the like.
