Directivity control system and sound output control method
A system includes an imaging part that captures an image, a sound collection part that collects sounds, a display part that displays image data captured by the imaging part, a directive direction calculation part that calculates a directive direction which directs toward a sound position corresponding to a designated position of the image data from the sound collection part when any position of the displayed image data is designated, and a control part that forms a directivity in the sounds in the calculated directive direction. The control part controls output of the sounds collected by the sound collection part or output of the sounds which are collected by the sound collection part and of which the directivity is formed, or suspends collection of sounds in the sound collection part, when it is determined that the sound position is included in a preset protection region.

The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program capable of allowing a user viewing a video of a remote location to be aware of presence of a person who is outside of an angle of field of a video in more appropriate form.
An information processing device according to the present technology includes a processing unit, wherein, when, between a first space where a first imaging device and a first display device are installed and a second space where a second imaging device and a second display device are installed, a captured image captured by the imaging device in one of the spaces is displayed by the display device in the other space in real time, the processing unit performs processing to notify first users in the first space that second users are outside of an angle of field of the second imaging device when the second users who are at positions outside of the angle of field of the second imaging device is detected. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a video communication system.

The invention relates to a security system comprising: a first monitoring subsystem, said first monitoring subsystem being arranged to detect events within a first field of view using a first detection mechanism; a second monitoring subsystem, said monitoring subsystem being arranged to detect events within a second field of view using a second detection mechanism; a mounting arrangement configured to carry the first and second monitoring subsystems and mount them to a substrate; wherein in use, an alignable component of the first monitoring subsystem is configured to be orientated with respect to the mounting arrangement so that the first field of view covers an area to be monitored; and wherein the orientation of the alignable component of the first monitoring subsystem determines the orientation of the second field of view of the second monitoring subsystem.

Passing vehicle filters for audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices in accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure are provided. In one embodiment, an A/V recording and communication device is provided, the device comprising a camera configured to capture image data of an object within a field of view of the camera, wherein the field of view comprises at least one active motion zone; a communication module; and a processing module comprising: a processor; and a motion detection application that configures the processor to: detect motion of the object within the field of view; capture image data; assign an object ID; determine a speed and a direction of movement; determine an aspect ratio; create an object boundary and determine a distance between a center of the object boundary and the at least one active motion zone; and determine whether the object is a passing vehicle.
TARGETED VIDEO SURVEILLANCE PROCESSING
Provided herein are systems and methods for implementing a video surveillance system. In one or more examples, the improved system can include a video managing system that applies one or more watchlists, to video footage captured by surveillance cameras to apply one or more processing policies indicated by the one or more watchlists. In some embodiments, a watchlist may indicate a plurality of events of interest (e.g., specific classes of objects, a presence of one or more persons, or one or more persons of interest, etc.) that should be detected from video footage. Through these mechanisms, video processing can be increased since the types of events of interest that need to be detected within the video footage are reduced. Non-transitory storage requirements are reduced, and human labor requirements to monitor, analyze, and review video surveillance footage is reduced.

This notification device (100) of a notification system (10) detects a portion of the body of a person from distance information from a proximity sensor (110) and image information from an image sensor (120) when an approaching object is a person, and causes an ultrasonic irradiation device (130) to irradiate the detected portion of the body of the person with ultrasonic waves that can generate tactile sensation.
Video analytics system
A security system can use video analytics and/or other input parameters to identify a theft event. Optionally, the security system can take remedial action in response. For example, the security system can use video analytics to determine that a person has reached into a shelf multiple times at a rate above a threshold, which can indicate that a thief is quickly removing items from the shelf. The security system can also use video analytics to determine that a person has reached into a shelf via a sweeping action, which can indicate that a thief is gathering and removing a large quantity of items from the shelf in one motion. In response, the security system can alert security personnel, cause a speaker to output an audible message in the target area, flag portions of the video relating to the theft event, activate or ready other sensors or systems, and/or the like.
