Systems and methods for broadcasting an audio or visual alert that includes a description of features of an ambient object extracted from an image captured by a camera of a doorbell device are provided. Such systems and methods can include the camera capturing the image when the ambient object is within a field of view of the camera and a processor receiving the image from the camera, processing the image with an artificial intelligence model to identify and extract details of the features of the ambient object, and initiating a broadcast of the audio or visual alert by an alert device associated with the camera, wherein the audio or visual alert can include the description of the features of the ambient object.

A first device is detected within a geofenced area of an establishment. A second device is determined to be within the geofenced area. A first individual associated with the first device is instructed to enter the establishment and complete a first portion of opening security procedures associated with an opening of the establishment. Upon completion of the first portion, a second individual associated with the second device is instructed to enter the establishment for a second portion of the opening security procedures. This application discloses a video pre-recording method and video camera, and an electronic device. The video pre-recording method includes: adding a pre-alarm area on a periphery of an alarm area; when occurrence of a predefined event in the pre-alarm area is detected, switching the video camera from a standby state to an operation state, and starting recording to obtain a first video; maintaining the video camera in the operation state, and detecting whether a predefined event occurs in the alarm area; and if occurrence of the predefined event in the alarm area is detected, taking a preset duration of the first video as a pre-recorded video of a second video, where the second video has a starting time that is the same as a time when the predefined event occurs in the alarm area. Based on this, this application can enable low-power video cameras to perform a video pre-recording function.
Configurable motion detection and alerts for audio/video recording and communication devices
Some embodiments provide a method for separating the motion detection zone(s) of an A/V recording and communication device from the motion alert zone(s) of the A/V recording and communication device. For example, an A/V recording and communication device may be configured to generate motion alerts, and to record audio and video footage, when an event is detected within a selected motion alert zone (e.g., within a defined radius around the A/V recording and communication device). However, the A/V recording and communication device may not generate a motion alert for an event detected outside of the selected motion alert zone, even though the device may still record audio and video footage for the detected event (e.g., when the event is within a selected motion detection zone).

The intrusion detection device according to the present invention is provided with: a detect ion means that detects, in an image, an intrusion position in a specific region by an object that has intruded into the specific region; and a control means that associates the intrusion position with a prescribed time period, wherein the detection means outputs an alert when the object, in the image, has stayed in the specific region for the prescribed time period or longer.
