Surveillance system, surveillance network construction method, and program

A surveillance system (1) includes an area information acquisition unit (101), a request information provision unit (102), and a participation consent reception unit (103). The area information acquisition unit (101) acquires information of a surveillance-desired area. The request information provision unit (102) provides participation request information for surveillance that is conducted by using an image capturing unit of a portable terminal in the surveillance-desired area. The participation consent reception unit (103) receives participation consent as a response to the participation request information, from the portable terminal.

INTRUSION DETECTION SYSTEM, INTRUSION DETECTION METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM

A setting assistance device includes an acquisition unit, a calculation unit and a determination unit. The acquisition unit acquires coordinates designated by a user for an image capturing a three-dimensional space. The calculation unit calculates coordinates of a position located at a predetermined distance from a position of a part of the three-dimensional space relating to the acquired coordinates. The determination unit determines a region set for the acquired coordinates based on the calculated coordinates.

AUTONOMOUS SAFETY VIOLATION DETECTION SYSTEM THROUGH VIRTUAL FENCING

A virtual fencing system. The system includes one or more virtual fencing devices that include image sensors, capturing images of a region in the vicinity of boundary of a hazard area. The device may operate autonomously to detect one or more humans represented in captured images. The device may process images to determine position parameters of the human and compare those position parameters to the boundary to detect a safety event. Based on the severity of the event, the device may generate one or more outputs, which may be a local audible or visible alert or an electronic message sent to a remote user. The system may also archive or provide to a remote user addition information on the event, such as a snapshot of the human involved in the event, a video clip of the event or a video stream of the event.

Some embodiments provide a method for separating the motion detection zone(s) of an A/V recording and communication device from the motion alert zone(s) of the A/V recording and communication device. For example, an A/V recording and communication device may be configured to generate motion alerts, and to record audio and video footage, when an event is detected within a selected motion alert zone (e.g., within a defined radius around the A/V recording and communication device). However, the A/V recording and communication device may not generate a motion alert for an event detected outside of the selected motion alert zone, even though the device may still record audio and video footage for the detected event (e.g., when the event is within a selected motion detection zone).

DOOR LOCK SYSTEM WITH ONE OR MORE VIRTUAL FENCES

An intelligent door lock system is coupled to a door at a dwelling. A sensor is at the dwelling. The sensor is coupled to a drive shaft of a lock device to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of a lock device at the door. The lock device is coupled to the sensor and includes a bolt. An engine, an energy source and a memory are coupled together. A camera is coupled to or part of the intelligent door lock system. The camera is configured to define a safe zone in the dwelling in which an occupant, and a non dwelling occupant third person is allowed into the dwelling.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING FALSE ALARMS DUE TO DISPLAY IMAGES

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for preventing false alarms due to display images. In one aspect, a monitoring system is disclosed that includes a processor and a computer storage media storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations can include obtaining, by the monitoring system, image data that depicts a portion of a property, determining, by the monitoring system, that the image data depicts an object, based on determining, by the monitoring system, that the image data depicts an object, determining, by the monitoring system, whether the depicted object is located within an exclusionary region of the property, and based on determining, by the monitoring system, that the depicted object is not located within an exclusionary region of the property, triggering, by the monitoring system, an event based on the image data.

Monitoring camera and monitoring camera control method

An image signal processing DSP subjects an image captured by an imaging element having a zoom lens to image processing for identifying a tracking target. In accordance with zoom information generated by the image signal processing DSP, the main CPU controls the zoom lens and controls a turn table that moves the imaging element in panning and tilting directions in accordance with pan and tilt information, to track the tracking target. During tracking of the tracking target, a determination is made, from information about movements of the tracking target generated by the image signal processing DSP, as to whether or not the target to be tracked has intruded the inside of the area from the outside. In a case where the target has intruded the inside of a preset area from the outside, an alarm command is produced when the target continually remains in the area for; e.g., one second.

Method and apparatus for monitoring zones

The present invention comprises an apparatus and method for monitoring a zone, which is a contiguous or non-contiguous, two-dimensional (2D) area or three-dimensional (3D) volume. Among its several advantages, the apparatus includes a plurality of sensors that monitor portions of the zone and report intrusion status to a control unit that provides monitoring boundary information to each of the sensors based on user input and further maps or otherwise associates each sensor to control unit outputs in accordance with user-defined behaviors. Still further, as a meaningful aid for configuring monitoring boundaries used by the sensors for objection intrusion detection, in one or more embodiments of the apparatus and method, at least a subset of sensors use a common coordinate frame of reference, based on a common origin located within overlapping sensor fields of view.

DUPLICATE MONITORED AREA PREVENTION
20200336708 · 2020-10-22 · ·

Technologies are generally described for prevention of duplicate monitored areas in a surveillance environment. In some examples, a field of view (FOV) of a security personnel may be estimated. An image capture device with a coverage area that potentially includes the FOV of the security personnel may be identified and its FOV estimated as well. Next, an overlap amount between the estimated FOVs of the image capture device and security personnel may be determined. When the overlap amount exceeds a threshold, content provided by the image capture device may be assigned a low priority. The low priority content may be blocked from display, selected with lower priority among multiple available contents, or displayed with an indication of the low priority on a control center display. The FOV of the security personnel may be an actual view of a person or the FOV of a camera associated with the security personnel.
