ITEM LOCATION TRACKING DEVICE HAVING ANTI-THEFT FUNCTION
An item location tracking device having anti-theft function is provided. An item location tracking device having anti-theft function according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a tracker body comprising a sensing part and a communication module for transmitting information acquired through the sensing part to the outside, the sensing part including a magnetic force detecting sensor for detecting a magnetic field, and at least one state detecting sensor for detecting state information of an item; a container-shaped bracket having an insertion space into which the tracker body is inserted, and fixedly installed to an item so that the tracker body can be fixed to the item; and a permanent magnet disposed in the insertion space so that a magnetic field for detecting whether the tracker body and the bracket are separated from each other can be provided toward the magnetic force detecting sensor.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERRING THEFT
A theft deterring system includes a power tool with a motor connectable to a power source, a switch connected to the motor, a controller controlling to the switch for controlling an amount of power provided to the motor, and a state circuit having a memory for storing a state value. The controller activates the switch to provide power to the motor when the state value stored in the memory equals a desired value. The system may also include a tag programmer for changing the stored value.
THEFT-PREVENTION SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH MAGNETIC FIELD DETECTION
An electronic theft-alerting system, including magnetometers, such as multiaxis magnetometers, arranged in respective stations and configured to output respective vector signals representing movement of respective magnetic field vectors; and a signal processor coupled to receive the first and second vector signals, and configured to detect a corresponding movement of a first magnetic field vector and a second magnetic field vector. Detecting commencement and continuance of fluctuation the first magnetic field vector, determining whether to raise or forgo to raise an alarm that warns about a possible theft-related event in response to the determining of commencement and continuance of fluctuation of the first magnetic field vector or the second magnetic field vector.
SECURITY TAG
This invention relates to a security tag for use in a retail environment. In particular this invention relates to a security tag including a flexible member or lanyard that can be formed into a loop to attach the security tag to an article. A security tag comprises a main body comprising a casing having opposite first and second end walls; an elongate flexible member for securing around an object, a first end of the flexible member being connected to the main body; a releasable locking mechanism in the main body, the locking mechanism configured to retain a second end of the flexible member within the casing such that a part of the flexible member external to the casing forms a loop, the locking mechanism being releasable by application of a magnetic force such that the second end of the flexible member can be withdrawn from the casing; and two electronic article surveillance (EAS) sensors housed within the casing, a first one of the sensors being proximate the first end wall of the casing and a second one of the sensors being proximate the second end wall of the casing.
DETECTABLE FOLDED COIL
A folded coil label and associated methods of making a folded coil label are provided. On example folded core label may include a core, a coil, and a capacitor. The coil may be wrapped around the core and connected to the capacitor to form a resonant circuit. The coil may be formed of angled traces wrapped around the core to form turns of the coil, and each angled trace may be electrically and physically connected in series to an adjacent angled trace to form a helical structure of the coil.
ASSET MANAGEMENT DEVICES AND METHODS
Systems, devices and methods for monitoring and managing parts, enterprise resources and other assets, and alleviating risks, in a complex collaboration environment are provided. A device with a hardware- and software-based control system scans and/or writes unique asset-related information within a plurality of chemical, electromagnetic, or written data-bearing tags within, on or throughout an asset for use in a manufacturing, maintenance and/or tracking process. A system records that asset-specific information (e.g., using secure network(s) and/or a blockchain), providing it for later access and modification by a number of trusted users, to track and control manufacturing-, maintenance-relevant or other factors. An enterprise resource planning system both outputs information to, and receives information from, the control system, reconciling changes in the data.
FLEXIBLE EMBEDDED SECURITY TAG
A flexible security tag includes: an elongated inlay portion; a loop antenna mounted on the elongated inlay portion; an electrically-conductive member longitudinally extending across the elongated inlay portion, spaced apart from and inductively coupled to the loop antenna; and a radio frequency identifier (RFID) circuit mounted to the loop antenna. The flexible security tag is encapsulated within an elongated textile protective sleeve.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR DETERMINING TAG INFORMATION
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for receiving a plurality of reception magnetic signals, determining state information associated with each marker of the plurality of markers based on a corresponding transmission magnetic signal of the plurality of transmission magnetic signals and a corresponding reception magnetic signal of the plurality of reception magnetic signals, and determining tag information based on the state information of the plurality of markers.
RECYCLED POLYSTYRENE PLASTIC FILM, ACOUSTO-MAGNETIC ANTI-THEFT LABEL, ACOUSTO-MAGNETIC ANTI-THEFT LABEL HOUSING, AND PREPARATION METHODS THEREOF
Disclosed is a recycled polystyrene (PS) plastic film prepared from 100% of a waste PS plastic or prepared from a waste PS plastic and a modification material, where a content of the waste PS plastic is greater than or equal to 1% and less than 100% and a content of the modification material is greater than 0% and less than or equal to 99%. The preparation of the recycled PS plastic film with the waste PS plastic can save resources. In addition, the waste PS plastic is modified by the modification material to improve the performance of the plastic, which is conducive to preparation of an acousto-magnetic (AM) anti-theft label housing with excellent performance. Also disclosed are a preparation method of the recycled PS plastic film, an AM anti-theft label housing made of the recycled PS plastic film and a preparation method thereof, and a corresponding AM anti-theft label.
Article surveillance tag attach/detach mechanism
The present disclosure relates to a mechanism inside of the tag which detaches the tag when presented to a detacher system containing a rotating magnet array that retracts the tag pin allowing the tag to be removed from the garment.
