The present invention provides an optical film. The optical film includes a first light-guiding layer, a second light-guiding layer, and at least one light absorption member. The first light-guiding layer has a first light incident surface, a first light-emitting surface, and an accommodating recessed portion formed on the first light incident surface. The second light-guiding layer is disposed on the first light incident surface, and has a second light incident surface, a second light-emitting surface, and a light-guiding member formed on the second light-emitting surface. Each light-guiding member is disposed on each accommodating recessed portion respectively, and each light-guiding member has a top portion, a bottom portion, and a side surface connecting the top portion and the bottom portion. The side surface of the light-guiding member faces the inner wall surface of the accommodating recessed portion, and the bottom portion of the light-guiding member corresponds to the opening of the accommodating recessed portion. The light absorption member covers the side surface. The first light-guiding layer has a first refractive index, and the second light-guiding layer has a second refractive index less than the first refractive index.

In a planar view: a transmission axis of a back face side-polarizing plate of the liquid crystal panel is perpendicular to the end face of the light-guiding plate; ridge lines in the prism array are parallel to the end face of the light-guiding plate; and the transmission axis of the back face side-polarizing plate is perpendicular to the ridge lines.

Each gridwall structure includes a transparent gridwall and a film structure covering the surface of the transparent gridwall. The refractivity of any two adjacent film layers of the first to Nth are different, and the reflectivity of one surface of the film structure facing the transparent gridwall is higher than the reflectivity of one surface of the film structure facing away from the transparent gridwall.

Each gridwall structure includes a transparent gridwall and a film structure covering the surface of the transparent gridwall. The refractivity of any two adjacent film layers of the first to Nth are different, and the reflectivity of one surface of the film structure facing the transparent gridwall is higher than the reflectivity of one surface of the film structure facing away from the transparent gridwall.

The arithmetic average surface roughness Ra of a surface of the light-diffusing layer may be 0.3 m or greater. The average interval Sm of recesses and protrusions of the surface of the light-diffusing layer may be 100 m or less. The light-diffusing layer may be a cured product of a curable composition containing at least one type of polymer component and at least one type of curable resin precursor component. This light-diffusing film exhibits high degree of light diffusion and high lightness.
