RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION FLAT SHEET MATERIAL
The utility model relates to the field of radio frequency identification, in particular, to the one containing a radio frequency tag in printing paper for typographical printing. The technical result is the creation of the technical solution as an alternative to the known one. The sheet material with the radio frequency identification is characterized in by the fact that it is made in the form of a rectangular sheet with a layer for printing, a length of 480 mm and a width of 325 mm, and it contains an antenna and a chip placed inside the sheet, what's more one of the sheet angles is made with a 45° bevel and a length of 10 mm.
Secure Element Having a Light Emitting Diode
A method is for limiting a voltage in the reverse direction of a light emitting diode is disposed on a secure element. The light emitting diode is electrically connected in parallel to a coil and to operating voltage connectors of an integrated circuit. The coil serves for supplying energy to the integrated circuit and to the light emitting diode because an electrical voltage is induced in the coil with an electromagnetic field produced by an external terminal, and for the contactless data transmission between the integrated circuit and the external terminal. The integrated circuit serves for processing data transmitted between the terminal and the integrated circuit. A shunt regulator regulates the operating voltage required for the operation of the integrated circuit to a value within an allowable range and limits the operating voltage, so a maximally permissible voltage in the reverse direction of the light emitting diode is not exceeded.
Method for manufacturing electronic object comprising a body and a porous-membrane-comprising battery
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a portable electronic-chip-comprising object including a body and a metal-air battery that is integrated into the body, the battery comprising an electrolyte layer and a protective air-porous membrane covering the electrolyte. The method includes a step of forming at least one air-supply duct extending from the protective membrane to an air source. An air-porous material is contained in the duct and completely blocks the duct at least in one place on its course. The invention also relates to the object corresponding to this method.
Payment cards and devices with gift card, global integration, and magnetic stripe reader communication functionality
A payment card (e.g., credit and/or debit card) or other device (e.g., mobile telephone) is provided with a magnetic emulator operable to communicate data to a magnetic stripe read-head. Gift cards may be inputted by a user into such a payment card or other device such that a user can combine gift cards. Similarly, a user be provided with a global payment account that can be utilized in multiple countries that have different standards for formatting data. A user may be provided with a default country (e.g., United States) but may have a way to select that the user is in a different country (e.g., Japan). Accordingly, a user may select that a Japanese data structure be transmitted through a magnetic stripe reader when the user is in Japan.
Name Tag Transmitter, Smartware Management System, and Smartware Management Method
A nametag transmitter is a nametag transmitter that is to be attached to smartwear including an electrode for detecting biological information, the nametag transmitter including: a reception unit for receiving the biological information from the electrode; a wireless communication unit for transmitting the biological information to a data collection apparatus; a display unit for displaying identification information for specifying a user of the smartwear; and a connection portion to be attached to the smartwear. The nametag transmitter is attached to the smartwear in a state in which pairing between the wireless communication unit and the data collection apparatus has been carried out.
REDUCING BEVERAGE SHRINKAGE AND MONITORING BEVERAGE DISPENSING EMPLOYEES TO REDUCE REVENUE LOSS
Beverage shrinkage monitoring technology is disclosed and is used to reduce beverage shrinkage at bars, clubs, restaurants, and other establishments that dispense beverages. Bottles are topped with wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles that only pour when handled by appropriate staff members who wear RFID wristbands or bracelets. The wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled liquor/wine nozzles also report sales to a point of sales (POS) system. Beer taps include proprietary wireless (RFID/Bluetooth/WiFi) enabled beer tap adapters that are mounted to or embedded in the beer taps.
Payment card with light-based signature
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for light-based authentication of a payment card. The payment card may include a randomized mix of materials. The materials may include transparent or translucent materials. A light source may shine light on a surface of the payment card. Light passing through the card may generate a light pattern that is unique to the payment card. The light pattern may be captured and compared to a reference light pattern to authenticate the payment card. In some embodiments, photodetectors may detect light patterns generated through interactions with the card materials.
MONITORING OF PRODUCTS
The invention relates to the monitoring of products by means of active radio tags. According to the invention, packagings of products are provided with an active radio tag that detects at least one environmental condition and/or at least one packaging state, and which emits a signal at time intervals, which provides information about a unique identifier and at least one state in which the respective product is found. The signal is picked up by a receiver that extracts the unique identifier and the state information and transmits together with location information to a computer system.
DISPENSERS, DISPENSER SYSTEMS AND REFILL UNITS CONFIGURED FOR AUTONOMOUS FIRMWARE/SOFTWARE UPDATES
Exemplary embodiments of dispensing systems, dispensers, refill units, methods for autonomously updating firmware and/or software in dispensers are disclosed herein. An exemplary dispenser includes a processor, dispenser memory, firmware for controlling one or more operations of the dispenser and a receptacle for receiving a refill unit. A reader for reading information from a near field communication tag is also included. The refill unit includes a near field communication tag secured thereto. Memory is located on the near field communications tag. Data stored on the memory. The data contains firmware update instructions. When the refill unit is installed in the receptacle, the reader reads the data. The processor causes the dispenser firmware to be updated by the firmware update instructions read from the near field communications tag on the refill unit.
