ENHANCED DOORBELL CAMERA INTERACTIONS
Techniques are described for enhanced interactions for a security automation system using a doorbell camera. One method includes detecting, by the doorbell camera, an object located within a pre-determined distance from the doorbell camera; identifying, by the doorbell camera, a suggested security action for the security and automation system to perform based at least in part on the detecting; transmitting the suggested action to the security and automation system based at least in part on the identifying; and transmitting, in response to identifying the suggested security action, a message to a user associated with the security automation system regarding the suggested security action.
Surveillance camera
A dome type surveillance camera includes a base, a plurality of cameras, a first connecting section, a plurality of second connecting sections, a hemispherical cover fixed to the base, and a circular rail. The first connecting section is connected on the base and connected with one first camera out of the plurality of cameras. The second connecting sections are connected on the base and connected with each of a plurality of second cameras excluding the first camera out of the plurality of cameras. The cover is disposed to cover the first connecting section, the second connecting sections, and the plurality of cameras. The rail is provided on the base and of which a center is immediately below a top of the cover.
System and Methods For Computerized Safety and Security
Systems and methods are provided for measuring, assessing, predicting, improving and presenting the state of physical object temperatures using imaging devices, e.g., a thermal infrared camera, and/or intruders in a region of interest to an operator, such that little or no operator effort is required to install, use or receive reports from the system. The invention also includes, for example, means and methods for exploiting autonomous operation and configuration, placement at remote sites, enhancement of image resolution and estimation of range such that accuracy of results and autonomy of operation is enhanced.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes: a display unit configured to display an image; and a controller configured to display a planar image of an omnidirectionally captured image or a thumbnail image of a partial region of the omnidirectionally captured image, with a first point of the omnidirectionally captured image as a center, wherein a center of the planar image or a center of the thumbnail image is variable.
3D SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM COMPRISING LIDAR AND MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING FOR OBJECT CLASSIFICATION
A surveillance system for detecting an object within a monitored infrastructure and to a hybrid 3D surveying device, wherein a LiDAR device is configured that scanning is carried out with respect to two essentially orthogonal axes and wherein the LiDAR device comprises a cover mounted on the base, such that the base and the cover form an enclosure that encloses all moving parts of the LiDAR device, wherein the cover is configured to be opaque for visible light and translucent for the wavelength range of the LiDAR transmission radiation. The system further comprises a computing unit configured for processing the LiDAR measurement data to generate a 3D point cloud of the monitored infrastructure, and an object detector configured for classification of the object based on the 3D point cloud.
Rolling shutter synchronization
A camera system configuration generates 2D or 3D images capable of being stitched together to create panoramic images. The configuration detects a communication coupling of at least two cameras for capturing a sequence of images. The cameras themselves are configured such that their rolling shutters mitigate field of view artifacts from adjacent cameras (2D panoramas) and adjacent 3D camera pairs (3D panoramas) by allowing for the substantially temporally-aligned capture of light in overlap regions between adjacent cameras.
PARCEL DELIVERY PREDICTION-BASED THEFT DETECTION
Techniques are disclosed to identify a previously-not-present stationary object within a sequence of image frames. A system determines a first frame of the plurality of image frames where an object is not within a field of view of the camera of the A/V device. The system then analyzes other frames to determine that the object becomes present and is stationary within the field of view of the camera. The system may identify a person approaching and moving away from the A/V device. The system may identify a stationary vehicle within and subsequently not within the field of view of the camera. The system may use identification of the parcel to generate a control signal that changes the operational mode of the A/V device to parcel protect mode.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING ADVERTISEMENTS
A system for monitoring advertisements has a security camera and sensor that are positioned to monitor an area surrounding the advertising structure with the advertisement. The camera and sensor can be controlled by a control module. The control module can activate the camera in response to receiving a signal from the sensor indicating activity in the area surrounding the advertising structure. The camera can capture images of the area surrounding the advertising structure and provide the images to the control module. The control module can then provide the images to a server for access by a user.
Parcel theft deterrence for A/V recording and communication devices
Parcel theft deterrence for audio/video (A/V) recording and communication devices, such as video doorbells and security cameras. When an A/V recording and communication device captures image data that includes a parcel, a parcel boundary may be created for monitoring the parcel within. In various embodiments, when the parcel is removed from the parcel boundary, a user alert may be generated to notify a user of a client device associated with the A/V recording and communication device that the parcel has been removed.
OUTDOOR SECURITY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The disclosure includes a security system including an outdoor security device. In some embodiments, the outdoor security device comprises a housing, a light coupled to the housing and located within a hollow inner portion of the housing, and a camera and a lens coupled to the housing. In some embodiments, the security device comprises at least one directional microphone communicatively coupled to the camera and configured to determine a location of a detected sound whereby the camera performs a frame lock to capture an image associated with the detected sound.
