ANTI-SPOOFING VISUAL AUTHENTICATION

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for visual authentication. In some implementations, a method may include obtaining images of a person at a property; detecting a discontinuity in an appearance of the person in the images of the person at the property; determining that the discontinuity does not correspond to a known occlusion; and providing an indication of a potential spoofing attack.

VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND OBJECT RECOGNITION
20220020255 · 2022-01-20 ·

An object recognition enabled, for example facial recognition enabled, video surveillance system for capturing video of a scene and allowing recognition of objects within that scene. The system comprises at least one camera apparatus connected via a communication channel to a central server with the camera apparatus arranged for capturing visual representation data of a scene. The visual representation data comprises video of the scene and the camera apparatus comprises a camera for capturing said video and a video encoder for sending corresponding video data via the communication channel to the central server. The camera apparatus is further arranged for generating object recognition data based on said visual representation data, and the video encoder is arranged to send said object recognition data along with the video data via the communication channel.

Imaging systems and methods for tracking objects

A first imager has a relatively high resolution and a relatively narrow first field-of-view. Information about objects in an environment is detected or captured, and used to steer the first field-of-view of the first imager. The sensor(s) may take the form of a second imager with a relatively lower resolution and relatively wider second field-of-view. Alternatively, other types of sensors, for instance presence/absence sensors may be employed. The first field-of-view may be directed toward an object that satisfies one or more conditions, for instance matching a particular SKU. The first field-of-view may track a moving object, for instance via a tracking mirror and actuator. This approach may be employed in retail locations, for example in grocery or convenience stores, for instance to reduce various forms of theft or in industrial environments.

Video monitoring using a hierarchical combination of camera sensors

An apparatus includes a primary camera sensor configured to capture images having a first resolution, a primary processing circuit configured to process images captured by the primary camera sensor, a secondary camera sensor configured to capture images having a second resolution, and a secondary processing circuit configured to process images captured by the secondary camera sensor. In response to a determination that a particular object of interest is included in a particular image, the secondary processing circuit may be further configured to cause the primary processing circuit and the primary camera sensor to exit a reduced power mode. The primary camera sensor may be further configured, in response to the exiting, to capture a different image. The primary processing circuit may also be configured to process the different image to validate the particular object of interest.

Asset management monitoring

Techniques are described for an autonomous asset management system that integrates autonomous devices, such as drone devices and other robotic devices, with a home security system of a property to enable management, monitoring, and/or tracking of various assets located within the property. In some implementations, an indication of an asset associated with a property is obtained by an autonomous device. Sensor data collected by one or more sensors of the property is obtained by the autonomous device based on the indication of the asset. A present status of the asset is determined by the autonomous device based on the sensor data. A determination that the present status of the asset does not correspond to an expected status of the asset is made by the autonomous device. In response, the autonomous device navigates to the particular location of the property.

ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR NOTIFICATION DEVICE, ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR NOTIFICATION SYSTEM, ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

A server includes: a registration unit that registers identification information for identifying a detection target in a storage unit; a detection target determination unit that determines whether the detection target is shown in an image captured on or around a road, based on the identification information; an abnormal behavior determination unit that determines whether the detection target exhibits an abnormal behavior that is different from a normal behavior of the detection target, when the detection target is shown in the image; and an alert transmission unit that transmits an alert when the detection target exhibits the abnormal behavior.
