Autonomous Virtual Wall
A virtual security network system can be used to prevent, deter or cease intrusion of an unauthorized person, animal or object into a secured area. The virtual security network system can include sensor units, a drone and a wide area network. Sensor units can be placed throughout a secured area and include a multitude of sensors with different capabilities that can detect a breach of the secured area. The drone can be mobilized upon receipt of a signal from a sensor unit when the secured area is breached to track an intruder. The drone can be equipped with pulsing lasers or a strobe light. The virtual security network system can also include a satellite, unmanned aerial vehicle, a launching and charging station for drone release and/or a drone fleet.
ASSET MANAGEMENT MONITORING
Techniques are described for an autonomous asset management system that integrates autonomous devices, such as drone devices and other robotic devices, with a home security system of a property to enable management, monitoring, and/or tracking of various assets located within the property. In some implementations, an indication of an asset associated with a property is obtained by an autonomous device. Sensor data collected by one or more sensors of the property is obtained by the autonomous device based on the indication of the asset. A present status of the asset is determined by the autonomous device based on the sensor data. A determination that the present status of the asset does not correspond to an expected status of the asset is made by the autonomous device. In response, the autonomous device navigates to the particular location of the property.
Method for allowing drone activity to modify event detection by a monitoring system
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for enabling drone activity in a property monitored by a property monitoring system without triggering a false alarm. In one aspect, the method includes actions of obtaining a location of the drone, identifying a first sensor installed at the property that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, detecting first sensor data generated by the first sensor that is within a predetermined distance of the drone, wherein the first sensor data includes data that is indicative of an event, determining whether a second sensor that is mounted to the drone is generating second sensor data that corroborates the event indicated by the first sensor data, and disregarding, by the property monitoring system, the first sensor data in determining whether to trigger an alarm.
Monitoring system for monitoring unattended services
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for accommodating unattended services at a property. In one aspect, a monitoring system is disclosed that includes a processor and a storage device storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations can include receiving a request to enter the property to perform the unattended service, configuring the monitoring system to allow access to a first portion of the property associated with the unattended service without triggering an alarm event, obtaining image data of the property after the monitoring system is configured to allow access to the first portion of the property, determining, based on the obtained image data, that an unattended service provider has entered into a second, different portion of the property, and triggering an alarm event.
RECORDING CONTROL DEVICE, RECORDING CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A recording control device includes a parking detection unit configured to detect a vehicle being parked; an event detection unit configured to detect an event related to the vehicle; a power supply state detection unit configured to detect a state of a power supply of the vehicle; and a recording control unit configured to, when the vehicle is parked, based on the state of the power supply of the vehicle, switch between first parking recording and second parking recording to be executed. The first parking recording is of starting recording the imaging data in response to detection of an event and saving the recorded imaging data as event recording data. The second parking recording is of keeping recording imaging data acquired from a camera and, in response to detection of an event, saving imaging data before and after detection of the event from the imaging data as event recording data.
Drone-augmented emergency response services
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on storage devices, for drone-augmented emergency response services. In one aspect, a monitoring system, comprising: a plurality of monitoring control units, and a monitoring application server, wherein the monitoring application server includes a network interface, one or more processors, and one or more storage devices that include instructions to perform operations. The operations include receiving an emergency event notification from a first monitoring control unit of the plurality of monitoring control units, determining a type of emergency event, and a location associated with the emergency event notification, identifying one or more drones that can be deployed to the location associated with the emergency event, and transmitting an instruction to a monitoring station server associated with a drone base station to deploy the one or more identified drones to the location associated with the emergency event.
ENHANCED AUDIOVISUAL ANALYTICS
A monitoring system that is configured to monitor a property includes a camera that is configured to capture video data of the property. The monitoring system further includes a microphone that is configured to capture audio data of the property. The monitoring system further includes a monitor control unit that is configured to access and analyze the video data. The monitor control unit is further configured to determine that an alarm condition does not exist at the property. The monitor control unit is further configured to access and analyze the audio data. The monitor control unit is further configured to override the determination that an alarm condition does not exist at the property. The monitor control unit is further configured to, based on overriding the determination that an alarm condition does not exist at the property, perform a monitoring system action.
MONITORING SYSTEM FOR WORKING MACHINE
A monitoring system for a working machine includes a boarding detector to detect boarding and alighting of an operator, the boarding detector being provided in the working machine, a position detector to detect a position based on a signal sent from a positioning satellite when the boarding detector detects the alighting of the operator, a transmitter to transmit, to a management machine, positional information representing the position detected by the position detector, and a controller to move the management machine based on the positional information when the boarding detector detects the alighting, the controller being provided in the management machine.
Drone for recognizing and testing monitoring system sensors
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a storage device, for using a drone to test monitoring system sensors. In one aspect, the drone perform operations that include navigating from a first location of a property towards a second location of the property, detecting a sensor that is installed at the property, interrupting, by the drone, navigation through the property from the first location of the property towards the second location of the property to initiate a test of the detected sensor and (ii) determining a sensor test type for the detected sensor, administering a sensor test to the detected sensor, wherein the sensor test is based on the determined sensor test type, evaluating results of the administered test, storing data describing the results of the administered test, and continuing navigation through the property towards the second location of the property or towards another location of the property.
