An image capturing apparatus comprises a plurality of movable image capturing units, a detection unit configured to detect positions of the respective image capturing units, and a generation unit configured to generate video data in which videos obtained by the image capturing units are laid out based on a detection result of the detection unit. The generation unit sets a positional relationship in the video data between at least two videos obtained by at least two image capturing units out of the image capturing units to coincide with a positional relationship between the at least two image capturing units.

In one aspect, a system includes a virtual reality headset, a plurality of cameras, a plurality of sensors that includes a first sensor, a control unit, wherein the control unit includes a network interface, a processor, a storage device that includes instructions to perform operations that comprise receiving data from the first sensor that is indicative of an alarm event, determining a location of the first sensor, identifying a set of one or more cameras from the plurality of cameras that are associated with the first sensor, selecting a particular camera from the identified set of one or more cameras; and transmitting one or more instructions to the particular camera that command the particular camera to stream a live video feed to a user interface of the virtual reality headset.

An asset is identified in a predefined area. The type of asset is identified through video or wireless tag identification. A security policy associated with the type of asset is obtained. Entries in an asset log are recorded based on a location of the asset, an individual handling the asset, and/or actions taken by an individual with respect to the asset based on the security policy. A real-time notification is sent when the location, the handling, and/or any of the actions warrant a notification based on the security policy.

Described herein are methods and systems for providing an integrated system for sensor monitoring and mapping in a translated coordinate system. One general aspect can include translating a digital map of a geographical region in a global positioning coordinate system to a translated coordinate system, where the geographical region includes a physical building. The method can also include generating digital interior maps of the physical building in the translated coordinate system and including on the maps control elements associated with devices physically located within the geographical region. The method can also include receiving, from a sensor data interceptor, sensor data from the devices. The method can also include providing a graphical user interface for viewing the digital maps and the sensor data associated with the physical devices on the map to provide a holistic view of the geographical region, including the exterior and interior of the physical building.

Provided is a surveillance system including a communication module configured to receive a plurality of pieces of image data obtained by a plurality of camera modules, receive a multiple image data request from a client terminal, and transmit a multiple image data response including multiple image data to the client terminal; and a processer configured to generate the multiple image data by scaling the plurality of pieces of image data in response to the multiple image data request and combining a plurality of pieces of scaled image data, wherein the plurality of camera modules share one internet protocol (IP) address.
