Pattern making system
A pattern making system having upper and lower sloper sections that are connected together at different heights to adjust the overall height of the upper and lower sloper sections. The upper and lower sloper sections have multiple widths and lengths, so that an upper section of a first width and length can be connected to a lower section of a second and different width and length, so that the sloper has different widths and lengths, which can be accommodated. In order to connect the upper and lower sloper sections, two T-shaped elongated sliding connector rods are provided for sliding within respective guide paths on the lower sloper section. In addition, the connector rods also have lower sections for sliding within the guide paths on the lower sloper section. In this manner, the sliding connector rods are moved in the guide paths relative to the upper sloper section and lower sloper section to vary the distance between the upper and lower sloper sections in order to vary the height of the sloper.

The upper and lower sloper sections have multiple widths, so that an upper section of a first width can be connected to a lower section of a second and different width, so that the sloper has different widths, which can be accommodated. In order to connect the upper and lower sloper sections, two parallel sliding connector rods are provided for sliding within respective parallel paths on the lower sloper section. In addition, the connector rods also have lower sections for sliding within parallel paths on the lower sloper section. In this manner, the sliding connector rods are moved in parallel relative to the upper sloper section and lower sloper section to vary the distance between the upper and lower sloper sections in order to vary the height of the sloper.
Device for trimming fabric
A device incorporating visible alignment features which allow the precision trimming of fabric into geometric shapes of a fixed size is disclosed. The device also allows trimming of fabric figures composed of simpler geometric shapes, including guides for rotary trimmers or other cutting implements to remove excess fabric at the seam created by the most common method of creating such figures, to produce figures of specified size and shape with no measuring required. The device incorporates a plurality of trimming slots and indexing indicators allowing it to be used to produce such figures. A method of using the device to produce multiple final fabric pieces from a single section of base fabric is also disclosed.
Adjustable ruler and measuring device
The present invention provides an adjustable measuring device comprising a starting piece, an end cap piece and at least three straight pieces. Further, when the starting piece is coupled and capped with the end cap piece or coupled with one or more of the straight piece of the three straight pieces and capped with the end cap piece, a transportable, perfectly flat square or rectangular ruler measuring at least 3 inches in width and one of 6 inches, 12 inches, 18 inches, 24 inches and continuing in 6 inch increments, in length, is created, which can be used for marking, trimming or cutting.
