Composite cable and composite harness
A composite cable includes a pair of first electric wires, a twisted pair wire formed by twisting a pair of second electric wires having a smaller outer diameter than the first electric wires, a tape member wound into a spiral around an assembly that is formed by twisting the pair of first electric wires and the twisted pair wire together, and a sheath covering an outer periphery of the tape member. The tape member and the sheath includes an inwardly projecting part formed in a spiral along a cable longitudinal direction and formed so as to enter inward at least one of a valley part between the two first electric wires and valley parts between the first electric wires and the twisted pair wire. The inwardly projecting part has a projecting length of not less than 3% of an outer diameter of the first electric wires.
Sensor device, cable with sensor, and composite cable
A sensor device includes a first pair of connection terminals extended from a first sensor and a second pair of connection terminals extended from a second sensor. A first negative connection terminal that is a negative connection terminal of the first pair of connection terminals and a second negative connection terminal that is a negative connection terminal of the second pair of connection terminals are electrically connected to each other.
CABLE FOR CONVEYING RADIOFREQUENCY AND/OR MICROWAVE FREQUENCY ENERGY TO AN ELECTROSURGICAL INSTRUMENT
Embodiments of the invention provide a hollow cable for conveying radiofrequency and/or microwave frequency energy to an electrosurgical instrument that can fit within, e.g. slide relative to, the hollow cable. The hollow cable provides a bipolar electrical connection to the electrosurgical instrument that is maintained when the electrosurgical instrument is rotated relative to the hollow cable. The cable may comprise a hollow coaxial transmission line having a rotatable component mounted at its distal end. The rotatable component comprises a longitudinal passageway continuous with the hollow coaxial transmission line. The rotatable component is rotatable relative to the transmission line and comprises a first and second conductive portions that are respectively electrically connected to first and second terminals on the coaxial transmission line and which are configured to maintain an electrical connection with their respective terminal when rotated relative to the coaxial transmission line.
Hybrid cabling solution for higher bandwidth and millimeter wave applications
Flexible cables may include multiple power, ground, and signal traces, and include EM interference suppression devices within the cable itself. Signal traces may be shielded by ground traces. The body of a cable may be divided into lateral portions through which different types of traces extend. One lateral side of a cable body may include a stack of power traces, while another lateral side of the cable body may include ground and signal traces. EBG patterns may be incorporated into ground traces. Capacitors may be positioned within the cable along its length, mounted between power and ground traces, for decoupling.
COMPOSITE CABLE AND COMPOSITE HARNESS
A composite cable includes a first twisted-pair wire formed by twisting a pair of first electric wires which each include a first center conductor and a first insulation, a second twisted-pair wire formed by twisting a pair of second electric wires which each include a second center conductor and a second insulation, a pair of third electric wires arranged between the first and second twisted-pair wires, the third electric wires each having a larger outer diameter than the first and second electric wires and including a third center conductor with a larger cross-sectional area than the first and second center conductors and a third insulation, and a tape member spirally wound around an assembled article formed by twisting the first and second twisted-pair wires and the pair of third electric wires together. The twisted-pair wires, the assembled article and the tape member are twisted or wound in a same direction.
CABLE
A cable (100) includes a power wire (1), a ground wire (3), data transmission wires (2) between the power wire and the ground wire, and an insulating outer layer (4) enclosing the outer side of the power wire, the ground wire, and the data transmission wires. The power wire includes a conductor (11), an insulating layer (12) outside the conductor, and a metal shielding layer (13) outside the insulating layer. The power wire and the data transmission wires are spaced from each other by plastic materials.
Freeze protection through volume donation
Devices, systems and methods to prevent damage to power and communication conductors located in cold occurring regions, with an elongated cylindrical tubular assembly of closed cell foam within an outer non-conductive durable outer coating, with a pull cord extending therethrough, wherein the assembly along with communication and power lines is pulled through new power and communication ducts and conduits and in retrofitting existing power and communication ducts, so that the assembly reduces the volume spacing in the ducts/conduits that can be damaged by water intrusion which expands during freeze conditions.
ELECTRICAL CABLE
The invention relates to an electrical cable for supplying aircraft and similar devices with alternating current having at least partially higher frequencies of preferably 400 Hz. The cable is provided with a central neutral and/or return conductor (1) and at least six phase conductors (2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 4a, 4b) arranged in a concentrically distributed manner about same, wherein every phase is distributed on two symmetrically opposing phase conductors (2a, 2b, 3a, 3b or 4a, 4b). The neutral and/or return conductor (1) is formed, in a very space-saving manner and with low inductivity, by preferably six individually insulated compact neutral wires (16), the total cross-section of which approximately corresponds to the cross-section of an individual solid neutral wire. In this way, with six-fold redundancy, the risk of a neutral wire failure is reduced, without diminishing the electrical properties with the inductive voltage drop.
Cable with memory
A cable for providing electric power from a power source to a mobile device, the cable having a first connector at a first end of the cable for connecting the cable to a mobile device and with a second connector at a second end for connecting the cable to the power source, wherein the cable comprises a memory module for backup and bidirectional transfer of data to and from the mobile device.

The shaft assembly further includes a wire extending through the linkage having a central portion disposed within an annular groove defined between the proximal and distal housings. The central portion of the wire is annularly wound within the annular groove to define a coil. The coil is configured to at least one of radially expand and contract upon rotation of the distal housing relative to the proximal housing.
