Each assembly has an outer profile connected to the intermediate ring by at least one support leg sliding on the outer profile along a guide profile. The system has an outer support structure arranged on the outer profiles of the support assemblies along the pipe, which will support at least one photovoltaic plate.

Thus, wildlife is protected from electrocution. In the event a second type of insulator is used, such as a K-Line type insulator having a relatively large top metal, an inexpensive dielectric shell is fitted over top of the cover to extend the dielectric height by at least one inch to fully laterally cover the top metal of the of the K-Line type insulator. Thus, different covers are not needed for covering both types of insulators, since only the shell is added for covering the second type of insulator. The shell may be provided in different sizes to accommodate different lengths of the top metal. Retaining pins are used to secure the cover over the insulator and conductor.

The Device for Supporting an Electrified Wire is a device for supporting an electrified elongate conductor on a fence or other structure, the device comprising: an insulating base for attaching said device to a fence or other structure, a spring connectively attached to said base, and an elongate member connectively attached to said spring positioned to extend away from said fence or other structure, wherein said spring is configured to deform elastically to allow the elongate member to move from an un-deflected position with a distal end laterally away from the fence or other structure to a deflected position towards the fence or other structure in at least a sideways direction upon application of a force lateral to the elongate member, and to spring back again to the un-deflected position once the force is removed. It is used to contain and alter the movement activity of livestock.
