The plating layer may be joined with or spaced from or climb up to the protective layer on or above the spacer layer.

The thick film resistor paste comprises a silver powder or a palladium powder, or a mixture of both of the silver powder and the palladium powder, a ruthenium-oxide-containing glass powder and an organic vehicle, the ruthenium-oxide-containing glass powder comprises 10 to 60 mass % of ruthenium oxide, a glass composition of the ruthenium-oxide-containing glass powder comprises 3 to 60 mass % of silicon oxide, 30 to 90 mass % of lead oxide, 5 to 50 mass % of boron oxide relative to 100 mass % of glass components, and, a combined amount of silicon oxide, lead oxide and boron oxide by mass % is 50 mass % or more relative to 100 mass % of the glass components.

A thick film resistor paste comprises a lead-ruthenate-containing glass powder and an organic vehicle, the lead-ruthenate-containing glass powder comprises 10 to 70 mass % of lead ruthenate, a glass composition of the lead-ruthenate-containing glass powder comprises 3 to 30 mass % of silicon oxide, 30 to 90 mass % of lead oxide. 5 to 50 mass % of boron oxide relative to 100 mass % of glass components, and, a combined amount of silicon oxide, lead oxide and boron oxide by mass % is 50 mass % or more relative to 100 mass % of the glass components.

The chip resistor 1 is configured such that: the front electrodes 3 are formed of a material which contains 1 to 5 wt % Pd and the balance Ag; and the auxiliary electrodes 5 are formed of a material which contains 15 to 30 wt % Pd and a metal material (e.g. Au) lower in resistivity than Pd and the balance Ag.

At least one of the resistance layers is arranged between and electrically connected to any two of the connecting pads for providing a resistance value. The number of the resistance values provided by the ceramic resistor is more than the number of the resistance layers. The multi-layer board has a plurality of contacts arranged apart from each other, and the contacts are respectively and electrically connected to the connecting pads.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LAYER STRUCTURE USING A PASTE ON THE BASIS OFA RESISTIVE ALLOY

The present invention concerns a layer structure comprising: a substrate having a glass or ceramic surface, a layer A at least partially covering the glass or ceramic surface of the substrate, wherein layer A comprises a glass in which at least two mutually different elements are contained as oxides, and a layer B at least partially covering the layer A. Layer B comprises: a resistance alloy having a temperature coefficient of electrical resistance less than 150 ppm/K, and optionally a glass containing at least two mutually different elements as oxides. Layer B contains not more than 20 weight percent of glass based on the total weight of layer B.

Resistor

A resistor includes: a first resin protruding part formed in the bottom surface of an exterior material (mold resin body), on an end opposite to a leading side of harness wires along the length of the exterior material near a through-hole piercing an upper surface and a lower surface of the exterior material, and a second resin protruding part, surrounding the circumference of a metal bush embedded in the through-hole and the entire circumference of the resistor substrate. Moreover, a concave part is formed in a region sandwiched between the first resin protruding part and the second resin protruding part.
