Recommendations and Allocations in an Apparel Management System
A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The system guides how the user is allocating apparel items in the system, including feedback on what the user may like to change.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DIGITAL MARKUPS OF CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Techniques for generating and using digital markups on digital images are presented. In an embodiment, a method comprises receiving, at an electronic device, a digital layout image that represents a form of a product for manufacturing a reference product; generating a digital markup layout by overlaying the digital markup image over the digital layout image; based on the digital markup layout, generating one or more manufacturing files comprising digital data for manufacturing the reference product; receiving a digital reference image of the reference product manufactured based on the one or more manufacturing files; identifying one or more found markup regions in the digital reference image; based on the found markup regions, generating a geometry map and an interactive asset image; based on, at least in part, the geometry map, generating a customized product image by applying a user pattern to the interactive asset image.
3-dimensional vision system for stitching along a predetermined path
Disclosed are various systems and features for use with a machine, such as a sewing machine, to facilitate 3-dimensional vision systems that may enable operations on non-flat objects and paths. Such systems and features may be useful in the context of performing an action along a self-guided path on a substrate.
Automatically Generating Apparel Collection Imagery
A system automatically generates apparel collection imagery from user-provided imagery. The user-provided imagery includes images of people wearing one or more garments. The system uses segmenting analysis to analyze the user-provided image to identify locations of the garment. From the locations of the garments, the system can determine which garments from an apparel collection can be used to replace those in the user-provided imagery. The system uses pose estimation on the user-provided imagery and modifies a preview image of a replacement garment from the collection. This modified replacement garment image is used to replace the garment in the user-provided imagery.
Method and apparatus for processing pattern pieces for fullness of clothes
A method and apparatus for processing a pattern piece receives, as an input from a user, a selection of at least a portion of an outer line of a pattern piece to be processed among one or more pattern pieces included in a two-dimensional (2D) pattern of clothes, generates a template including a plurality of lines that divide an area set by the input, processes the template based on fullness settings set by the user for the pattern piece, processes the pattern piece based on the processed template, and outputs the processed pattern piece.
IMPROVING GARMENT DESIGN PROCESSES WITH 3D CAD TOOLS
The invention relates to three computer implemented methods, wherein the computer implemented methods allow for a faster and more intuitive garment design process. The improved garment design process is achieved using CAD tools.

KNITTED TEXTILE METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Custom-fit versions of knitted articles are produced according to digital representations of objects for which the articles are to be manufactured. The digital representations, optionally augmented by surface fitting algorithms, allow for accurate scaling of pattern-specified stitch counts for pattern elements representing the article taking into account wales and courses densities for the material(s) from which the article is to be made. Displayed dimensionally-accurate representations of the custom-fit articles allow for user-specified style and fit preferences to be made and a final digital pattern of the article to be produced. Machine instructions representing pattern pieces to be knitted are automatically produced from the final digital pattern of the article for a target computerized knitting machine and the custom-fit article then manufactured according to the machine instructions.
System for Laser Finishing of Garments
Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. A technique includes determining a fabric's response to a laser, capturing an initial image of a wear pattern on a garment, and processing the initial image to obtain a working image in grayscale. The working image is further processed to obtain a difference image by comparing each pixel relative to a dark reference. The difference image is converted to a laser values image by using the previously determined fabric response to the laser.
Modularized garment manufacturing method for small quantity batch production of garments and modularized garment manufacturing system
Disclosed are modularized garment manufacturing method and system for small quantity batch production of garments. Basic components constituting an ordered garment are generated by analyzing shape graphic data of the ordered garment. For each basic component, basic patterns are generated for each dimension of the ordered garment. The basic patterns are compared with reference garment patterns stored in a garment pattern database to determine a pattern category of each basic pattern. Based on the pattern category of the basic patterns and information on garment production lines currently in operation, subdivided work modules are determined for each basic pattern. A configuration of modular sewing process lines, which include module processing lines for manufacturing the working modules and component-joining process lines for completing production of the ordered garment by joining the basic pattern products produced in each module processing line, is designed based on operation information of a garment production line.
