Method for closing a switch and switch for performing the method
An embodiment relates to a method for closing a switch and a switch for performing the method, the switch having a stationary switch contact including a stationary contact face, a movable switch contact including a movable contact face parallel to the stationary contact face and lying under pressure against the stationary contact face in the closed state, and an elastic transversal offset of the contact faces which ensures that pressure is applied when the contact surfaces lie against each other. To guarantee closing during a short-circuit, a displaceable counter-pressure element is provided which presses against the movable contact face in the open position and at least reduces the transversal offset. The counter-pressure element moves in conjunction with the movable switch contact towards the closed position when the switch closes. The counter-pressure element stops moving during the closing movement, while the movable contact face continues to move into the closed position.
Switching device having an apparatus for switching on suddenly
A switching device and apparatus for switching on suddenly has an actuating mechanism element operatively connected to a latching mechanism by a transmission mechanism, The latching mechanism operates a switching lever through a further transmission mechanism. A contact assembly has a fixed switching piece facing a moveable switching piece that is guided in a contact slide. In the latching mechanism, a lever is arranged in operative connection with a locking part that is operatively connected to a transmission element which acts on the moveable switching piece.

Power relay for a vehicle
A power relay for a vehicle has a housing and two connecting bolts that are introduced into the housing so as to contact a load current circuit. The power relay further having a coil assembly that is arranged in the housing, the coil assembly contains a magnetic coil and a magnetic armature that is coupled by way of a force-transferring member to a contact bridge that can be moved in a reversible manner between a closed position and an opened position and can be displaced in the housing under the effect of a magnetic field that is generated by the magnetic coil. The contact bridge supports two contact elements that together with the mating contacts of the connecting pin form a first contact pair and a second contact pair. The contact pairs form a three point bearing arrangement in the closed position.
Vacuum circuit interrupter with piezoelectric actuator and vacuum circuit breaker incorporating same
A vacuum circuit breaker comprises a vacuum interrupter operable between a closed state and an open state, and an actuator. The actuator comprises a piezoelectric driving element that is expandable and contractable along an expansion axis in response to an electrical input signal. The actuator further comprises a mechanical amplifying structure extendable along an actuation axis and being mechanically coupled to the piezoelectric driver such that expansion or contraction of said piezoelectric driving element causes the amplifying structure to extend or retract along the actuation axis. The mechanical amplifying structure is coupled to the vacuum interrupter for operating the vacuum interrupter between said closed and open states.
High Voltage Disconnection Telescopic Switch Insulated by Air With a Moving Contact with Pressure Supply
This invention makes reference to interrupter high voltage air-insulated telescopic disconnection switch with moving contact for supplying pressure, consisting of: a first male conductor comprising a first guide-positioner means internally coupled with such first male conductor via an intermediate section, a plurality of double-sided contact plates peripherally coupled with the intermediate section border; a second female conductor coaxially separated from the first male conductor comprising a second guide-positioner means internally coupled with such second female conductor by an intermediate section; a plurality of double-sided contact plates peripherally coupled with the intermediate section border; a moving conductor consisting of guide means internally coupled with such moving conductor by an intermediate support, being such conductor mobile and coaxially coupled with the interior of the first male conductor, where it moves to an open position, and is separated from the first male conductor and to a close position where such moving conductor causes a contact between the first male conductor and the second female conductor, by interacting among themselves to the first guide-positioner means of the first male conductor, the second guide-positioner means of the second female conductor and the guide means of the moving conductor; a plurality of contact plates peripherally coupled with the intermediate support border of the moving conductor, each of such contact plates having contact means for supplying pressure.
LIMIT SWITCH DEVICE
A limit switch device is placed at an intended stop position, without the need to move the actuator additionally from the position at which the on/off state is switched. A first movable portion (211) causes a first contact to slide on a second contact in a switch mechanism (103) included in a microswitch by applying a force (F′) via an actuator (102a) and a plunger (102b).
Closing Switch And Switchgear
An electrical short-circuiting closing switch including an electrically insulating housing; a first electrode having a tapered first electrode opening; a second electrode having a tapered second electrode opening; a movable contact having a tapered profile, the movable contact being movable relative to the housing along a closing axis from an open position, in which the movable contact is electrically disconnected from the second electrode, to a closed position, in which the movable contact electrically connects the first electrode and the second electrode by engaging the tapered profile with the first electrode opening and the second electrode opening; and an actuator arranged to force the movable contact from the open position to the closed position; wherein at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode is flexibly attached to the housing. A switchgear including a closing switch is also provided.
