Toggle-type switch for portable communications device
A toggle-type switch for a portable communications device includes a circuit board to be positioned within a cavity of a portable communications device. In one instance, the circuit board includes a first flank, a second flank disposed opposite the first flank, and a central rib disposed between the first and the second flanks. The circuit board has a non-planar shape, such that the first flank and the second flank are each offset relative to the central rib. The toggle-type switch includes a first electrical contact element coupled to the first flank, a second electrical contact element coupled to the second flank, and a projecting lever located above the central rib and between the first flank and the second flank. The projecting lever has a first leg to engage the first electrical contact element and a second leg to engage the second electrical contact element.

Rocker switch element for motor vehicles with protection against unwanted actuation
A rocker switching control element for electrical sliding roofs on a vehicle overhead panel has an actuation rocker formed as a switch with switching positions and is arranged on a substantially planar control panel. The actuation rocker is recessed such that it does not project beyond the panel edge region. The transition between the panel edge region and the actuation rocker is formed with the panel edge region forming over a first width a goblet-like edge set back by a first depth, and an adjoining edge, separated by a gap of width, of the actuation rocker, which edge is recessed by more than the first depth in the non-actuated state and set further back continuously over a second width by a second depth. The recess is shaped overall such that inadvertent actuation of the actuation rocker by an object significantly larger than a human finger is prevented.

SWITCH ARRANGEMENTS FOR ULTRASONIC SURGICAL INSTRUMENTS
Ultrasonic surgical instruments including a handle housing, a switch frame, and a switch assembly are disclosed. The switch assembly may include a first switch arrangement movably supported on a distal portion of the handle housing and selectively movable relative to a first switch contact supported by the switch frame. The switch assembly may further include a second switch arrangement including a right switch button movably supported on a right side of the handle housing and selectively movable relative to a right switch contact supported by the switch frame, and a left switch button movably supported on a left side of the handle housing and selectively movable relative to a left switch contact supported by the switch frame. The first and second switch arrangements may be configured to be selectively actuatable by a single hand supporting the handle housing.

Rocker arm of an electric switch, blocking device with such a rocker arm, and electric switch with such a rocker arm and such a blocking device
In a rocker arm of an electric switch, the electric switch is actuated by the rocker arm for setting definable positions. The rocker arm of an embodiment includes a first part, for setting the definable positions, and a second part, movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position of the second part, the first part can be moved into the definable positions; and in the second position of the second part, the movement of the first part is blocked.
