Circuit breaker including rotary handle
An electrically insulative case includes a door arranged to move between an opened position and a closed position and a rack mechanism arranged to move between an ON position and an OFF position. The electrically insulative case further includes an interlock including a plunger arranged to move between a locked position and an unlocked position. The interlock also includes an engagement mechanism that is coupled to the plunger. The engagement mechanism is arranged to move between a first position in which the engagement mechanism is spaced from the rack mechanism and a second position in which the engagement mechanism is engaged with the rack mechanism. The door is inhibited from moving to the opened position when the plunger is in the locked position. The plunger is arranged to move to the locked position when the engagement mechanism is in the second position and the rack mechanism is in the ON position.
Input device and switch assembly thereof
An input device including a switch connector having a plurality of electrical terminals fixedly mounted to a circuit board. The input device including a switch assembly magnetically coupled to the switch connector in a removable manner. The switch assembly including a switch adapter having a plurality of contact elements in engagement with the plurality of electrical terminals of the switch connector, and a switch fitted to the switch adapter with a plurality of leads of the switch electrically connected to the plurality of contact elements of the switch adapter. The switch adapter being between the switch connector and the switch. The input device including a magnetic catch arrangement having a first catch unit at the circuit board and a second catch unit at the switch adapter which coact with each other to magnetically couple the switch assembly to the switch connector. A corresponding switch assembly thereof and a computer mouse.
MAGNETIC TRIP DEVICE OF AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER
Disclosed herein is a magnetic trip device. The magnetic trip device maintains a failure state indication through a latch, a lever, and a trip bar which are provided in the magnetic trip device and thus a switching part can be operated or maintained with a more simplified structure.
Remote operation device
A remote operation device includes a first operation acceptance portion having a rotary dial, a second operation acceptance portion provided along an outer periphery of the rotary dial and allowed to rotate separately from the rotary dial, and a control portion. When a relative position of a user's hand with respect to the first operation acceptance portion is at a covered position, the control portion switches the first operation acceptance portion and the second operation acceptance portion to a locked state and accepts an operation on the first operation acceptance portion. When the relative position of the user's hand with respect to the first operation acceptance portion is at an uncovered position, the control portion switches the first operation acceptance portion and the second operation acceptance portion to an unlocked state and accepts an operation on the second acceptance portion.
HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING SWITCHES AND RECTIFIERS
There is provided a rectifier of an alternating input current, which may comprise: an electrical switch comprising a length of HITS material to carry an alternating switch current, the HITS material having a critical current: a magnetic field generator to apply a magnetic field to the HTS material: a control mechanism to control the magnetic field generator to switch the switch between a low-resistance state when a magnitude of the magnetic field is relatively low and a higher-resistance state when a magnitude of the magnetic field is relatively high, the relatively high magnitude being sufficient to reduce the critical current so that, for a part of the alternating switch current cycle, the current approaches the critical current, is substantially equal to the critical current or is greater than the critical current. There is further provided an electrical switch having two strands of superconducting material arranged in a bifilar arrangement.
Button retention, assembly, and water sealing
A sealed physical button for use with a portable electronic device that effectively presents ingress of liquids. Embodiments include a button cap having flange portions that interlock with complementary flanges from a button retainer. The button cap may also include a downward oriented central post, proportioned and oriented to interface with the top surface of a button attached to a bracket. The button retainer may include an aperture sized and positioned to receive the central post of the button cap. The button retainer may rest on a shelf within the electronic device housing such that the shelf interposes the bracket and the retainer to form a rigid seal.
Interlock article
An interlock for a circuit breaker having a first circuit breaker switch and a second circuit breaker switch. The interlock includes a first actuator movably associated with the first circuit breaker switch, a first limiter plate and a first handle securely associated with the first actuator and the first limiter plate. The interlock further includes a second actuator movably associated with the second circuit breaker switch, a second limiter plate, and a second handle securely associated with the second actuator and the second limiter plate. The first limiter plate and second limiter plates are configurable between a first configuration and a second configuration. When the first plate is in the second configuration, the second plate is non-movably configured in the first configuration, and when the second plate is in the second configuration, the first plate is non-movably configured in the first configuration.
Push switch
Guide grooves are formed in a peripheral sidewall of a soft button, and a hard cap is separably connected to the button by fitting legs on the cap into these guide grooves. Furthermore, when a push-operation member on the cap is pushed, the legs are guided in the guide grooves, while the press stroke of the push-operation member is regulated by the bottom ends of the legs coming into contact with the top face of an inner flange on the case.
MCC CLOSED DOOR OPERATION (CDO) PUSH BUTTON INTERLOCK MECHANISM
A closed door operation racking device is provided for racking a circuit breaker to and from a power bus from outside of a housing of a motor control center unit. The racking device includes a racking operator assembly and a push-button interlock assembly. The racking operator is configured to rack-in the electrical device and connect the stabs to a power bus in a connected position and to rack-out the electrical device and disconnect the stabs from the power bus in a disconnected position. The push-button interlock assembly prevents the operation of the racking operator under certain conditions, and includes a spring-loaded locker assembly and a spring-loaded push-button operator assembly. A push-button operator of the push-button operator assembly is depressed to disengage the locker assembly from the racking operator to allow operation of the racking operator.
