Guide grooves are formed in a peripheral sidewall of a soft button, and a hard cap is separably connected to the button by fitting legs on the cap into these guide grooves. Furthermore, when a push-operation member on the cap is pushed, the legs are guided in the guide grooves, while the press stroke of the push-operation member is regulated by the bottom ends of the legs coming into contact with the top face of an inner flange on the case.

Interlock for circuit interrupting device

A circuit-interrupting device includes a load-breaker operable between an open state and a closed state and a first interlock member operatively associated with the load-breaker. The first interlock member moves between a first position and a second position when the load-breaker moves between the closed state and the open state. The circuit-interrupting device further includes a disconnect switch that moves between an open state and a closed state. When the load-breaker is in the closed state, the first interlock member is in the first position and contacts the disconnect switch to prevent the disconnect switch from moving from the closed state to the open state.

Switch assembly and method of operating same

A switch assembly and method of operation comprises a housing having top and bottom ends spaced about a longitudinal axis and a selectively movable knob coupled to a plunger arrangement having a shaft that extends from inside the housing to couple to the knob. The switch assembly also comprises a printed circuit board having at least one wiper for engaging a contact extending from the plunger arrangement. A step shaft projects from the shaft of the plunger arrangement such that when a maintained mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly, the step shaft engages a retaining assembly formed by a portion of the housing, and when a momentary mode of operation is desired by the switch assembly the step shaft is positioned such that is free from engaging the retaining assembly.

Electrical system and operating handle interface assembly therefor

An operating handle interface assembly is for an electrical system. The electrical system includes an enclosure having an interior and an exterior, and a plurality of electrical switching apparatus disposed within the interior. Each of the electrical switching apparatus includes an operating handle. The operating handle interface assembly includes a linking assembly structured to interconnect the operating handles of a plurality of the electrical switching apparatus. An elongated shaft includes opposing first and second ends. The first end cooperates with one of the operating handles of one of the electrical switching apparatus. The second end is disposed on the exterior of the enclosure. A handle attachment is coupled to the second end of the elongated shaft on the exterior of the enclosure. The handle attachment is operable among a plurality of positions to correspondingly operate the operating handles of all of the interconnected electrical switching apparatus.

REMOTE OPERATION DEVICE

A remote operation device includes a first operation acceptance portion having a rotary dial, a second operation acceptance portion provided along an outer periphery of the rotary dial and allowed to rotate separately from the rotary dial, and a control portion. When a relative position of a user's hand with respect to the first operation acceptance portion is at a covered position, the control portion switches the first operation acceptance portion and the second operation acceptance portion to a locked state and accepts an operation on the first operation acceptance portion. When the relative position of the user's hand with respect to the first operation acceptance portion is at an uncovered position, the control portion switches the first operation acceptance portion and the second operation acceptance portion to an unlocked state and accepts an operation on the second acceptance portion.

Linkage Device for Electric Switch Assembly and Electric Switch Assembly Comprising the Linkage Device
20250118505 · 2025-04-10 ·

A linkage device adapted to control two electric switches including a main control shaft member, an actuation system including a first actuation member for actuating a control shaft of a first electric switch, and a second actuation member for actuating a control shaft of a second electric switch. A mechanism of the linkage device is provided with a torque limiting connection for each electric switch, wherein the torque limiting connection is adapted to disengage during an opening event if a torque exerted to an actuation member exceeds a predetermined limit value. The linkage device includes a stopping member system adapted to co-operate with a linkage arm system for preventing rotation of the main control shaft member to an OFF-position when the torque limiting connection of at least one linkage arm of the linkage arm system is in a disengaged position.

Disclosed is a switchboard. The switchboard includes a switchboard case with a built-in circuit breaker, a door mounted on the switchboard case in a hinge structure to be opened or closed and configured to include a door hook including an inclined surface at a front end, an external manipulation handle provided at an outer side of the switchboard case and configured to manually, externally manipulate a switch-on or off operation of the circuit breaker, and a catching member disposed in the switchboard case to be contactable with the inclined surface of the door hook. The catching member rotates by contacting the inclined surface of the door hook according to a closing operation of the door, and a locked state of the door is maintained by catching the door hook on one side corner of the catching member.
