Switch cover
A cover for an electric switch assembly is disclosed in the present application. The cover includes connecting features that permit connection to a housing for the switch assembly in at least two locations. A first location is defined by a cover positioned to completely enclose all electrically conductive components in the switch assembly. A second location is defined by a cover positioned to enclose a portion of electrically conductive components and to permit access to a circuit associated with an open switch in the switch assembly.
Vehicle control panel comprising a switch
The present invention relates to a vehicle control panel comprising a switch cap comprising electrical connection pads arranged on a side of the switch cap, and an electric circuit printed on an inside surface of the switch cap associated with selecting a state of the function. A panel member has an opening in which the switch cap is pivotally and releasably attached. The panel member has electrical circuit closing members attached on an inner surface of the panel member. Pairs of the electrical connection pads are adapted to coincide and make contact with a respective one of the electrical circuit closing members to close an electric circuit portion in the switch cap such that an external electrical circuitry operates the function.
Universal Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) Device Incorporating A Water and Flame Barrier Button Assembly
A water and flame barrier button assembly is incorporated into an electrical enclosure such as a GFCI housing to provide water and flame resistant set and reset buttons. The buttons are contained within flexible sealing frames that allow one end of the buttons to extend through the top portion of the GFCI housing while the opposite end of the button is exposed within the base portion of the sealing frame. The base portion of the sealing frame attaches to the interior of the housing with the exposed button end positioned inward of the sealing frame base. The base of the sealing frame contacts the GFCI circuit board while providing a rebound force to return either the set or reset button exposed end from a position depressed and in contact with the circuit board to a position not in contact with the circuit board and returning inward of the sealing frame base.
RELAY UNIT
This relay unit includes: a first bus bar; a relay electrically connected to the first bus bar; and an apparatus cover for covering the first bus bar and the relay. The apparatus cover includes: an upper member in a box shape having a covered upper end, the upper member having an opening formed in a lower end; and a lower member bonded to the upper member such that the opening of the upper member is covered with the lower member. The lower member is formed of a resin having heat conductivity that is higher than that of the upper member. The first bus bar is connected to the lower member via a first inner heat conductive sheet such that heat can be transferred to the lower member, said first inner heat conductive sheet being disposed between the first bus bar and the lower member.
MONO OR BIDIRECTIONAL CONTACTOR
A mono or bidirectional contactor device for applications involving switching of the power supply for high current and/or voltage electrical loads, of the type comprising a containing and protective casing made of synthetic plastic insulating material with a bottom wall from which there extends an actuator portion, comprising a coil and auxiliary contacts, an intermediate portion for housing fixed and movable contact poles, and an upper arc chute portion for dissipating the electric arc. Advantageously the casing is chosen so as to have a flat parallelepiped form with the bottom wall extending at 90 with respect to a side wall of the casing on the shorter side and a support plate for the contactor is connected to the outer surface of the base wall or of said side wall so as to support the casing substantially with a vertical extension from the horizontal plane or projecting from the vertical plane.
Push switch
A push switch includes a base member including a depressed accommodating part, a fixed contact member provided and exposed in the accommodating part of the base member, a movable contact member installed in the accommodating part and including a dome part configured to be reversible to contact the fixed contact member, a sheet member installed to cover the accommodating part and hold the movable contact member, a pusher member installed between the top of the dome part and the sheet member, and a sheet-shaped reinforcing member formed of a material having a lower coefficient of thermal expansion than the sheet member. The reinforcing member is installed over the sheet member.
Surge protection device
A circuit protection device including a housing defining a chamber and a metal oxide varistor (MOV) stack disposed within the chamber. A first spring is electrically attached at a first end to a first input terminal of the MOV stack by a solder connection and at a second end to a first input line. The first spring is biased away from the first input terminal. A second spring is electrically attached to a second input terminal of the MOV stack by a solder connection and at a second end to a second input line. The second conductive spring is biased away from the second input terminal. When an overvoltage condition occurs, heat generated by the MOV stack melts at least one of the first or second solder connections to allow the corresponding springs to be displaced away from the respective MOV stack input terminals.
Device assembly for accomodating an electrically operated device
A device assembly for accommodating an electrically operated device may include a housing made from a plastic, delimiting a housing interior space, and having a viewing window formed therein that may be closed by a window pane made of a transparent material. The device may include an electrically operated device arranged inside the housing interior space, on the outside of which at least one actuatable control element may be provided. An aperture may be formed in a housing wall in which an actuating element made from an elastic plastic may be arranged at least partially and may be operable by a user of the electrically operated device. The actuating element may be coupled mechanically to the control element such that the control element is operable from outside the housing. An inner housing part made from an elastic plastic may be arranged on an inner side of the housing wall.
DURABLE AND SECURED SWITCH ASSEMBLY
A durable and secured switch assembly includes an alternate action switch with a push button on one end and two primary cable terminals on the opposing end. The switch is secured in a housing with a lumen configured to securely retain the switch body. A first section of the lumen at the proximal end includes peripheral spacing for epoxy between the switch body and the inside wall of the housing. A second section of the lumen at the distal end includes a second peripheral spacing for epoxy between the switch body and the inside wall of the housing. The second section includes a peripheral notch for securing a cover that encloses the primary cable terminals in a cavity that is filled with epoxy. The housing includes a primary channel that connects a primary cable to the primary cable terminals and secondary channel for securing a secondary cable to the housing.
