A base element and at least one switching element are included in an operator control device which may be disposed in a vehicle. By closing at least one electrical contact, the switching element is moveable from a first position into a second position relative to the base element. The operator control device can also include at least one pushbutton switch moveable relative to the base element between a position of rest and at least one activation position. The operator control device can further include at least one restoring element, formed of silicone and supported on the base element and on the pushbutton switch, which can be elastically deformed by moving the pushbutton switch from the position of rest into the activation position. Using the restoring element, the pushbutton switch can be moved from the activation position into the position of rest by relaxing the restoring element.

Embodiments described herein provide a low travel switch mechanism. The low travel switch mechanism may include a substrate, a dome coupled to the substrate, a keycap, and an integrated pivot component disposed between the keycap and the dome. The integrated pivot component may include a hinge assembly coupled to a light guide structure. The hinge assembly may secure to the substrate, via one or more hinge interconnects, joints, or interlock features to form a pivot point. When the keycap receives a keystroke, the integrated pivot component may be operative to pivot about the pivot point and contact the dome to cause a switching event or operation.

To this end, the switch according to the invention comprises a pressing rocking bar, a first push rod, a second push rod, a first elastic member, a second elastic member, a first limiting body, a second limiting body, and a housing, wherein the pressing rocking bar is pivotally connected to the housing; the first push rod and the second push rod respectively run through the first limiting body and the second limiting body and abut against bottoms of a first end and a second end of the pressing rocking bar, and the second push rod abuts against the second limiting body; and the first elastic member and the second elastic member are fixedly arranged and respectively connected to bottoms of the first push rod and the second push rod, torque of the second push rod acting on the second end is greater than torque of the first push rod acting on the first end, and a moving gap is reserved between the first limiting body and the first push rod in a pressing direction of the first push rod. Switch shaking is prevented and switch position accuracy is ensured.

A push switch according to the present disclosure includes: a case including a recess; a fixed contact member including a fixed contact disposed in the recess; a movable contact member including a movable contact disposed in the recess; a protective sheet disposed in a first direction from the recess and covering the recess; and a rib disposed on the protective sheet. The protective sheet includes: a pressing portion; a fixed portion fixed to the case; and an intermediate portion located between the pressing portion and the fixed portion as viewed in the first direction. As the pressing portion of the protective sheet is pressed along the first direction, the movable contact member deforms by force received from the protective sheet. The movable contact touches the fixed contact as a result of the deformation of the movable contact member.

FOLDED KEY STABILIZER

Key assemblies having a foldable stabilizer are disclosed. The stabilizer can be positioned under a keycap to help guide the keycap and limit rotation or movement when the key is pressed. The stabilizer can have a pointed-star shape with multiple folding axes and can have multiple points of connection or linkage to the keycap or other surrounding components. The stabilizer can unfold or flatten as the keycap is pressed and can fold as the keycap is raised.

A toggle selector switch includes an activator stylus mounted in a housing to be pivotable about at least one axis. The toggle selector switch further includes at least one pushbutton switch positioned axially in the housing to be engaged when the elongate activator stylus is pivoted. The at least one pushbutton switch includes a mounting base including a contact and a first electrically conductive dome coupled to the mounting base. The first electrically conductive dome is positioned above the contact and is adapted and configured to flex under an applied force and to then touch the contact to complete a circuit and to return when the force is withdrawn. The activator stylus and the at least one pushbutton switch are adapted and configured such that the pushbutton switch outputs a signal indicating that the activator stylus has been moved in one of four directions.

The elastic piece is engaged inside the chamber, wherein the elastic piece has an interfering part located outside the chamber, and the interfering part is located on a moving path of the trigger part. The keycap is disposed on the scissor structure and the dome switch.
