Separately housed contact assembly mounted within a transformer
The present invention relates to a contact unit for changing over between winding taps on a control winding of a tapped transformer. Such a contact unit can be used particularly preferably for electrical switchgear in high-voltage engineering, such as selector switches or changeover switches. A common feature of both kinds of device in this case is that the changeover between the winding taps on the control winding of the tapped transformer is accomplished without load current. The general inventive concept is to include the contact element of the contact unit in a separate contact housing, so that the contact element and the contact housing form a separate assembly and so that the contact housing, including the contact element, can be fixed in a recess provided in the contact mounting by means of a retaining element.
PUSH BUTTON SWITCH
A push button switch includes a housing made up of a base and a cover, a first plunger mounted on the cover so as to be pushed down, a movable contacting piece configured to be driven by a push-down operation on the first plunger, a movable contact provided in the movable contacting piece, and a fixed contact disposed so as to come into and out of contact with the movable contact. Specifically, the movable contacting piece includes a movable contact piece provided with the movable contact, and an operation tongue piece disposed on at least one side of the movable contact piece and coupled with the movable contact piece so as to rotate integrally. The operation tongue piece is operated by the operation body of the first plunger to bring the movable contact into and out of contact with the fixed contact.
High temperature material compositions for high temperature thermal cutoff devices
The present disclosure provides a high-temperature thermal pellet composition that maintains structural rigidity up to a transition temperature of about 240° C. The composition comprises at least one organic compound (e.g., triptycene or 1-aminoanthroquinone). The pellet can be disposed in a housing of a thermally-actuated, current cutoff device, such as a high-temperature thermal cutoff device (HTTCO). Also provided are material systems, which include the pellet composition and a high-temperature seal that provides substantial sealing up to at least the transition temperature. Methods of making such high-temperature pellet compositions and incorporating them into a thermally-actuated, current cutoff device are also provided.
Electric Power Tool
An electric power tool has a tool receptacle and a tool housing in which a drive motor for driving the tool receptacle is arranged. The drive motor is switchable on and off via an electric switch. An operating part for indirectly actuating the switch is arranged on the tool housing and extends approximately parallel to a longitudinal axis of the tool housing. The operating part is lever-like and is pivotably arranged on the tool housing. An actuating member of the switch is displaceable approximately parallel to the longitudinal axis by an actuating force that acts on the operating part approximately perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis. The drive motor is switched on by the actuating force acting on the operating part against a restoring force of the switch, and the drive motor is switched off automatically, via the restoring force, when the operating part is released by a user.
SAFETY SWITCH WITH IMBALANCE TEST
An apparatus for an imbalance test includes a strain measurement module that measures a strain voltage across terminals of a strain gauge. The strain voltage is representative of an amount of force on the strain gauge. The apparatus includes a test measurement module that measures a test voltage across the terminals of the strain gauge while a test resistor is connected in parallel with a resistor of the strain gauge. The test resistor is connected while the test measurement module measures the test voltage and is disconnected while the strain module measures strain voltage. The apparatus includes an average module that calculates an average strain voltage from two strain voltage measurements. The strain voltages are measured preceding and after the test voltage measurement. The apparatus includes a difference module that determines a difference voltage. The difference voltage is a difference between the average strain voltage and the test voltage.
Visible disconnect switch interlock assembly
A visible disconnect switch (VDS) interlock assembly is provided. The VDS interlock assembly is movable between a CBA, first lockout position, wherein a CBA second contact assembly cannot move when a VDS second contact assembly is in a first position, and a VDS, second lockout position, wherein a VDS second contact assembly cannot move when the CBA second contact assembly is in a second position. Further, the VDS interlock assembly is placed in an open position in between where the CBA, first lockout position and the VDS, second lockout position; from the open position the VDS interlock assembly may be moved into one of the CBA, first lockout position or the VDS, second lockout position.
ROTARY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A DEVICE
This rotary control system for a device includes a rotary control member, rotationally mobile about a first fixed axis, between first and second positions, and a rotary control handle, intended to be secured in rotation with the rotary member about the first axis. It also includes a blocking device, that can be selectively moved, when the rotary member is in its first position, between a blocking configuration, in which it prevents the movement of the rotary member to its second position, and a release configuration, wherein the movement of the rotary member to its second position. This system further includes a locking plate, rotationally mobile about the first axis relative to the rotary member, when the rotary member is in its first position, between a locking position, in which a first orifice passing through the rotary member is superposed with a second orifice passing through the locking plate.
PUSH SWITCH
A push switch includes: a hollow housing having an inner circumferential surface formed with a guide part; an operation button formed with a first ratchet tooth; a cam follower including a cam part, and a second ratchet tooth, and being movable up and down in an axial direction and rotatable in a circumferential direction; a first spring; an engagement piece engaged with the cam follower; a movable contact; a metallic contact member rotatable integrally with the cam follower; a fixed terminal including contacts to be switched by rotating the contact member; and a base on which the fixed terminal is fixed. The contact member defines a through hole at a rotation center of the contact member. The base includes a rotation axis part inserted in the through hole and serving as the rotation center of the contact member.
Double-contact switch with vacuum switching chambers
A double-contact switch has first and second tubular vacuum switching chambers; a stationary electrode, between the first and second vacuum switching chamber, having a first stationary contact protruding into the first chamber and a second stationary contact protruding into the second chamber; a first electrode, arranged in the first chamber, moveable axially therein, having a contact support region and sealed off from the first chamber exterior; a second electrode, arranged in the second chamber, moveable axially therein, having a contact support region and scaled off from the second chamber exterior; a first contact compression spring applying a first spring force to the first movable electrode so the first electrode contact presses onto the contact protruding into the first chamber; and a second contact compression spring applying a greater, second spring force to the second movable electrode so the second electrode contact presses onto the contact protruding into the second chamber.
