Vaccine formulation to protect against pertussis

A vaccine composition for intranasal administration includes a Bordetella pertussis antigen, and an effective adjuvant amount of a high molecular weight glucose polymer. The high molecular weight glucose polymer may be a beta-glucan. The Bordetella pertussis antigen may be an extracellular toxin, an adhesion protein, an outer membrane protein, a receptor protein, a fragment thereof, or a mixture thereof.

TRITERPENE SAPONIN ANALOGUES

The present application relates to triterpene glycoside saponin-derived adjuvants, syntheses thereof, and intermediates thereto. The application also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising compounds of the present invention and methods of using said compounds or compositions in the treatment of and immunization for infectious diseases.

PRIME-BOOST REGIMENS INVOLVING ADMINISTRATION OF AT LEAST ONE mRNA CONSTRUCT
20230210965 · 2023-07-06 · ·

The present invention relates to novel prime-boost regimens that involve the administration of at least one mRNA construct, such as the use of such constructs in “boost” administration subsequently to “prime” administration of certain other antigenic composition(s). Such inventive regimens may, in particular, be useful for the induction of an immune response in a subject, and/or the vaccination of such subject against infection from one or more pathogens, and/or the treatment or prevention of one or more diseases or conditions, including a tumour or cancer, allergy or autoimmune conditions, and/or a disease or condition associated with infection from a pathogen. The present invention further describes methods, uses, vaccination compositions, kits and packaged vaccine components related to or useful for one or more of such regimens

ADJUVANT AND VACCINE CONTAINING ADJUVANT

The present invention is intended to provide an adjuvant having high safety to living bodies and an action to sufficiently reinforce immune function, and a vaccine comprising the adjuvant. Specifically, the present invention relates to 34 novel adjuvant candidate compounds, which have been identified by screening 145 food additives and 51 injection additives, using, as indicators, an increase in the antibody titer against influenza virus and a protective effect against infection with influenza virus, and then selecting those having the function of increasing the antiviral antibody titer in blood and the protective effect against viral infection. In addition, the present invention also relates to a vaccine comprising these adjuvant candidate compounds.

Flagellin-based agents and uses including effective vaccination

The present invention relates to, in part, compositions comprising improved flagellin derived constructs and methods of using for vaccination, including adjuvants comprising flagellin-based agents.

VARICELLA ZOSTER

The present application relates to compositions capable of inducing an immune response against Varicella zoster virus, methods of administering such compositions, and methods of producing such compositions.

USE OF MEMBRANE INHIBITORS TO ENHANCE VACCINE DEVELOPMENT AGAINST ENVELOPED VIRUSES
20220401554 · 2022-12-22 ·

The present application relates to method of vaccinating a subject against infection by an enveloped virus. The method includes providing a compound of the Formula (I) as described herein, and contacting the compound of Formula (I) with an isolated enveloped virus, having a membrane, to inactivate the membrane of the isolated enveloped virus. The subject is then treated with the enveloped virus having an inactivated membrane to vaccinate the subject against the enveloped virus. Further disclosed is an ex vivo vaccine composition including the compound of Formula (I) and an enveloped virus.

Buffer Free, Acid Stable Low Dose Volume Rotavirus Vaccine

A buffer free, acid stable, low dose volume rotavirus vaccine is disclosed. The vaccine is available in dose volume of less than 1 ml per dose for oral administration and it is without any buffer. The vaccine also does not require pre or post administration of any antacid at the time of oral administration of the vaccine to the subject to neutralize the stomach acid. The vaccine exemplifies nominal drop in vaccine titer at pH 2-4 for a time span of 30 minutes. The vaccine is stable at −20° C. for at least 60 months.
