ELECTRONIC DEVICE PROVIDED WITH ANTENNA
An electronic device provided with an antenna is provided according to one embodiment. The electronic device comprises: a first radiator disposed inside a first substrate, and radiating a first signal, having a first polarization, in the direction of the side surface of the first substrate; a second radiator disposed on a second substrate which is disposed perpendicular to the first substrate, and radiating a second signal, having a second polarization perpendicular to the first polarization, in the direction of the side surface of the first substrate; and a transceiver circuit disposed on the rear of the first substrate, and transmitting or receiving at least one of the first signal and the second signal through at least one of the first radiator and the second radiator.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE PROVIDED WITH ANTENNA
An electronic device provided with an antenna is provided according to one embodiment. The electronic device comprises: a first radiator disposed inside a first substrate, and radiating a first signal, having a first polarization, in the direction of the side surface of the first substrate; a second radiator disposed on a second substrate which is disposed perpendicular to the first substrate, and radiating a second signal, having a second polarization perpendicular to the first polarization, in the direction of the side surface of the first substrate; and a transceiver circuit disposed on the rear of the first substrate, and transmitting or receiving at least one of the first signal and the second signal through at least one of the first radiator and the second radiator.
EXTREMELY LOW PROFILE ULTRA WIDE BAND ANTENNA
An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body. The antenna body includes a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. A tapered side portion extends perpendicular to the planar portion in a direction towards the ground plane, wraps at least 50% around an outer edge of the planar portion and tapers in height from a feed side of the antenna body in a direction towards a back side of the antenna body. A cylinder is connected to a bottom surface of the planar portion and to the ground plane. A connecting portion connects the back side at the outer edge of the planar portion to the ground plane.
EXTREMELY LOW PROFILE ULTRA WIDE BAND ANTENNA
An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body. The antenna body includes a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. A tapered side portion extends perpendicular to the planar portion in a direction towards the ground plane, wraps at least 50% around an outer edge of the planar portion and tapers in height from a feed side of the antenna body in a direction towards a back side of the antenna body. A cylinder is connected to a bottom surface of the planar portion and to the ground plane. A connecting portion connects the back side at the outer edge of the planar portion to the ground plane.
SPIRAL TAPERED LOW PROFILE ULTRA WIDE BAND ANTENNA
An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body including a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. A tapered spiral portion includes a T spiral tapered legs that have a spiral shape and that horizontally taper in a direction towards the ground plane, where T is an integer greater than one. L supporting legs connecting an outer edge of the planar portion to the ground plane, where L is an integer greater than one.
SPIRAL TAPERED LOW PROFILE ULTRA WIDE BAND ANTENNA
An ultra wide band antenna includes a ground plane and an antenna body including a planar portion arranged above and parallel to the ground plane. A tapered spiral portion includes a T spiral tapered legs that have a spiral shape and that horizontally taper in a direction towards the ground plane, where T is an integer greater than one. L supporting legs connecting an outer edge of the planar portion to the ground plane, where L is an integer greater than one.
BROADBAND ANTENNA MOUNTED ON VEHICLE
A vehicle provided with an antenna according to the present invention comprises: a conical array antenna in which cone radiators are arranged at certain intervals, wherein the cone radiators are provided between a first substrate and a second substrate and have upper portions connected to the first substrate, lower portions connected to the second substrate, and openings at the upper portions thereof; a patch array radiator which is formed on the first substrate and in which metal patches formed to be separated from the top openings are arranged; shorting pins formed so as to electrically connect the metal patches and a ground layer of the second substrate; and a transceiver circuit for controlling a signal to be radiated through at least one of the conical array antennas, thereby improving a signal reception performance in almost any direction of the vehicle.
BROADBAND ANTENNA MOUNTED ON VEHICLE
A vehicle provided with an antenna according to the present invention comprises: a conical array antenna in which cone radiators are arranged at certain intervals, wherein the cone radiators are provided between a first substrate and a second substrate and have upper portions connected to the first substrate, lower portions connected to the second substrate, and openings at the upper portions thereof; a patch array radiator which is formed on the first substrate and in which metal patches formed to be separated from the top openings are arranged; shorting pins formed so as to electrically connect the metal patches and a ground layer of the second substrate; and a transceiver circuit for controlling a signal to be radiated through at least one of the conical array antennas, thereby improving a signal reception performance in almost any direction of the vehicle.
ANTENNA DEVICE
An antenna device includes a casing, a circuit board, and an antenna. The casing has a positioning structure. The circuit board is disposed in the casing. The antenna is disposed in the casing and includes a main body portion and a connection portion connected to each other. The connection portion is connected to a surface of the circuit board. The main body portion is extended on a plane defined by a first axial direction and a second axial direction. The first axial direction is perpendicular to the surface and the second axial direction is parallel to the surface. The main body portion is positioned on the positioning structure and separated from the circuit board.
Sensors with deformable conductors and selective deformation
A sensor may include a bladder, and a deformable conductor disposed on the bladder such that deformation of the bladder causes deformation of the deformable conductor, wherein the bladder is constrained so as to enhance the deformation of the conductor in response to the deformation of the bladder. A method may include applying a stimulus to a bladder having a deformable conductor attached thereto, detecting a change in an electrical characteristic associated with the deformable conductor in response to the stimulus, and selectively constraining the bladder to amplify the change in electrical characteristic in response to the stimulus.
