Provided are a circuit board assembly that can prevent contact between connection terminals due to whiskers even if whiskers grow from the connection terminals and a method for manufacturing an insert molded product. A cover body of a circuit board assembly has a plurality of partition walls that form a plurality of grooves each accommodating a corresponding one of connection terminals. The partition walls restrain the inner surface of a second cover of the cover body from entering the grooves when an external pressure is applied to a part of the cover body which covers the connection terminals. The partition walls also prevent contact between adjoining ones of the connection terminals when whiskers grow.

SHIELD WIRE

A shield wire (P) that facilitates terminal processing is provided. This shield wire (P) includes a plurality of core wires and an inclusion (2) twisted together to form a core (3) having a cross-sectional circular shape, a drain wire (4) laterally wound around an outer periphery of the core, a shield tape (5) wound around, and a sheath (6) further disposed outside the shield tape (5). The shield tape (5) includes metal thin films (5b and 5c) on surfaces of a resin film (5a). An adhesive layer (7) is interposed between the shield tape and the sheath. The shield tape is adhesively integrated with the sheath by the adhesive layer.

Electrical distributor device, signal transmission system and method of making an electrical distributor device

Embodiments of a high-frequency electrical distributor device may have an input end with a connector of a first connector type, and an output end with at least two connectors of at least one second connector type which is different from the first connector type. Embodiments may further include a distributor region between the connector at the input end and the connector at the output end. The connector at the input end has at least two differential contact element pairs. The distributor region distributes the contact element pairs of the connector at the input end to the connectors at the output end.

Electro-optical connector with hot electrical contact protection

A cable connector, including a housing having a base and a lip, which surrounds the base and defines an aperture configured to receive a mating plug. The cable connector also includes a plurality of electrical contacts enclosed by the housing and configured to convey electrical signals, the electrical contacts having respective first proximal and first distal ends, the first proximal ends being implanted in the base so that the first distal ends are recessed within the aperture at a first distance from the base. The cable connector additionally includes one or more optical fiber terminals containing end portions of respective optical fibers configured to convey optical signals and having respective second proximal and second distal ends, the second proximal ends being implanted in the base so that the second distal ends are recessed within the aperture at a second distance from the base, which is greater than the first distance.
