MODULE-TO-MODULE POWER CONNECTOR BETWEEN BATTERY MODULES OF AN ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM AND ARRANGEMENT THEREOF

An embodiment is directed to a module-to-module power connector configured to form connections between battery modules installed in a battery housing of an energy storage system. The module-to-module power connector includes electrical interfaces and busbar(s) configured to form one or more electrical connections terminals of adjacent battery modules. The busbar(s) is flexibly configured to permit a defined range of movement of the electrical interfaces during insertion of the respective battery modules into respective battery module compartments. The module-to-module power connector may further be arranged inside in a tunnel space, whereby holes are defined in a battery module mounting area housing the battery modules that open into the tunnel space.

SHEATH-BONDING LINK BOX

A sheath-bonding link box is provided, the sheath-bonding link box including a housing defining a sealed interior space, and a set of electrically conductive connectors extending through the housing between an exterior of the enclosure and the interior space. The set of connectors each has an internal portion positioned inside of the interior space and an external portion positioned outside of the housing. The internal portion of the connectors is electrically connectable to a functional link in the interior space, and the external portion of the connectors is dimensioned to be electrically connectable to a sheath-bonding lead.

A conductor terminal includes: a housing having a conductor receiving chamber accessible via a conductor insertion opening for receiving an electrical conductor, the electrical conductor being insertable into the conductor receiving chamber in a conductor insertion direction; a current bar arranged in the conductor receiving chamber for contacting the electrical conductor inserted into the conductor receiving chamber via the conductor insertion opening; and a clamping spring, which is arranged in the housing and has a spring clamping leg, the clamping spring being actuatable between a clamping spring release position and a clamping spring clamping position such that in the clamping spring release position, the electrical conductor is guidable into and/or out of the conductor receiving chamber, and in the clamping spring clamping position, the spring clamping leg applies force in a direction of the current bar to the electrical conductor inserted into the conductor receiving chamber.

Terminal block structure

The invention relates to a terminal block structure includes an insulative base, a conductive terminal, a pressing element, and a clamping elastic piece. The insulative base has a chamber, a wire insertion hole and an open trough disposed on the same side of the insulative base as the wire insertion hole. The conductive terminal is fixed in the chamber and arranged correspondingly to the wire insertion hole. The pressing element includes a pivoting portion, an arm, a handle, and a pressing portion. The pivoting portion is pivotally connected to the insulative base. The arm protrudes from the insulative base through the open trough. The handle is movable beside the wire insertion hole. The clamping elastic piece is disposed in the chamber. An end of the clamping elastic piece is operatively moved to inside or outside of the wire insertion hole through the pressing portion.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION CASSETTE

Provided is an electrical connection cassette with which it is possible to freely expand a device and add functions in accordance with the size of free space. An electrical connection cassette is provided with: a circuit board; and first connection terminals and second connection terminals mounted on the circuit board and having terminal shapes that can be engaged with each other. In a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a predetermined direction with respect to the circuit board, the first connection terminals are disposed on the side of one main surface of the circuit board, and in a state with a terminal connection direction oriented in a direction parallel to the predetermined direction, the second connection terminals are disposed near the other main surface of the circuit board.
