There is provided a battery charger configured to charge a battery including a battery terminal. The battery charger includes a receiving portion in a form of a recess, and a charging terminal provided in the receiving portion. The battery is attachable to and detachable from the receiving portion. The receiving portion includes a holding portion configured to selectively hold the battery in the receiving portion at one of a first posture and a second posture different from the first posture. When the battery is in the first posture, the battery terminal is in contact with the charging terminal to allow the battery to be charged. When the battery is in the second posture, the battery terminal is separated from the charging terminal.

There is provided a battery charger configured to charge a battery including a battery terminal. The battery charger includes a receiving portion in a form of a recess, and a charging terminal provided in the receiving portion. The battery is attachable to and detachable from the receiving portion. The receiving portion includes a holding portion configured to selectively hold the battery in the receiving portion at one of a first posture and a second posture different from the first posture. When the battery is in the first posture, the battery terminal is in contact with the charging terminal to allow the battery to be charged. When the battery is in the second posture, the battery terminal is separated from the charging terminal.

An apparatus, relating to a modified version of a power strip, consisting of a power strip fastened to one side of a plastic plate, or any other comparable material, consisting of an extended male cord that can be plugged into a female end of an extension cord, a quick extension cord reel and release mechanism that can house a long extension cord, by which the extension cord can be wound up when length is not needed, or quickly released when more length is needed, and a clip fastened to the other side of the plastic plate, or any other comparable material, that allows the user to attach the power strip with the corded power tool plugged into it, to a tool belt, pocket, or any other convenient location.

A charging system for a battery-operated machine is disclosed. The charging system includes a charging receptacle having a power connection and a signal connection, with the charging receptacle configured to receive electrical current via the power connection from a power supply plug. The charging system further includes a heat rejection element thermally coupled to the charging receptacle, a temperature sensor, and a charging controller operatively coupled to the temperature sensor and the charging receptacle. The charging controller is configured to receive a temperature signal from the temperature sensor, the temperature signal being indicative of a charging-receptacle temperature. The charging controller is further configured to transmit, via the signal connection to the connected plug, a control signal to adjust (e.g., raise or lower) the electrical current supplied to the power connection.

The present invention discloses a multifunctional stand and a stand assembly. The multifunctional stand includes a supporting part, a connection part and a magnet, where the supporting part is connected to the connection part, and a joint of the supporting part and the connection part is recessed inwards to form a recess; and the magnet is disposed at an end of the connection part far from the recess. The stand assembly includes a plug and the multifunctional described above. The multifunctional stand of the present invention can be used for other purposes when not supporting a mobile phone or a tablet computer, and is small in size and convenient to carry. The stand assembly of the present invention can prevent a metal plug from scratching other items when a charger is carried.

A telescopic mechanism of an European plug of a power converter with a grounding pin, including a shell, a push handle arranged on the shell, a plug bush arranged in the shell and movably connected with the push handle, a pin assembly arranged in the shell, a fixed rack arranged on the shell and extending into the plug bush, a movable rack connected with the pin assembly, and a gear arranged on the plug bush and meshed with the fixed rack and the movable rack respectively. The pin assembly includes two pins; two ground conductors are arranged on the plug bush, the two pins and the two ground conductors are combined to form a hybrid grounding plug, and an additional contact sleeve is provided on the hybrid grounding plug for a grounding pin of a French plug.

According to one embodiment, an electronic device includes a housing, a substrate, a connector, a metal member, a screw, first solder, and second solder. The substrate includes a first surface to which a second hole opens and a metal region to which a first hole opens. The region is provided on the first surface. The connector is provided with a third hole. The metal member is attached to the connector and includes a second surface to which a fourth hole opens and a joint inserted into the second hole. The screw attaches the connector and the metal member to the housing through the third hole and the fourth hole. The first solder joins the region and the second surface to each other. The second solder joins an inner surface of the second hole and the joint to each other.

A connection device for connecting an electrical or electronic component, which is accommodated in a thick-walled housing part, through a stepped bore in the wall of the housing part, includes a connection part having a stepped cylindrical body having a first cylindrical portion with a first outer diameter corresponding to the diameter of an inner bore portion of the stepped bore and a second cylindrical portion with a second outer diameter corresponding to the larger diameter of an outer bore portion, and a separate, essentially cylindrical contact carrier part fixed in the base body, which has contact pins protruding from an inner end face located on the inside of the thick-walled housing part. A fastener detachably fastens the connection part inserted in the stepped bore in the bore of the housing part.

An attachable vehicle to trailer plug protection device is also provided, including a housing and a terminal protective port that corresponds to a male plug of a trailer which provides a secure fit that protects the plug when not in use. Also provided are an integrated plug protecting device and an integrated trailer to vehicle plug protection device including respective terminal protective ports.

A plug protecting device is provided, including a housing and a non-conductive terminal protective port that corresponds to a male charging or connecting plug of an electronic device which provides a secure fit that protects the plug when not in use. An attachable vehicle to trailer plug protection device is also provided, including a housing and a terminal protective port that corresponds to a male plug of a trailer which provides a secure fit that protects the plug when not in use. Also provided are an integrated plug protecting device and an integrated trailer to vehicle plug protection device including respective terminal protective ports.
