JUNCTION BOX INTERFACE CHASSIS AND PLUGGABLE MODULAR DEVICES
Various components and subcomponents of a pluggable modular system for electrical junction boxes are described herein. In various embodiments, a jbox interface chassis is configured to be wired and fastened within an electrical junction box to provide a hot-swappable pluggable interface between the wires in the electrical junction box and each of a plurality of hot-swappable pluggable modular devices. The jbox interface chassis may include a front pluggable interface configured to electrically mate with a corresponding rear pluggable interface on a casing of each pluggable modular device. As an example, the jbox interface chassis may include a plurality of slots or holes to receive a corresponding plurality of blades or pins on the casing of each pluggable modular device. Additionally, device adapters are described herein to convert a wide variety of legacy electrical devices into pluggable modular devices.
Electric shock-proof plug and an electrical equipment
The present disclosure discloses an electric shock-proof plug that comprises an insulating sleeve, a plug body, and a reset member. The plug body is movably disposed in the insulating sleeve. An inner wall of the insulating sleeve comprises a guiding groove, and an outer wall of the plug body comprises a sliding member movably coupled to the guiding groove. The sliding member moves in the guiding groove to drive the plug body to move between a high position and a low position. When the plug body moves to the low position, a connector of the plug body is exposed out of the insulating sleeve, and the reset member generates an elastic resetting force. When the plug body moves to the high position, the connector is retracted back into the insulating sleeve. A user will be prevented from getting an electric shock when unplugging the electric shock-proof plug.
ROTATING MECHANISM AND PLUG USING SAME
A plug includes a housing, a rotating mechanism, and a pair of pins. The rotating mechanism has a holding member, and a rotating member. The holding member is secured in the housing, and has an elastic arcuate portion having a plurality of recesses. The rotating member is rotatable relative to the holding member, and has a projection mating with each of the recesses of the arcuate portion of the holding member. The pair of pins are secured to the rotating member. The projection of the rotating member is movable along the arcuate portion of the holding member and presses the arcuate portion such that the arcuate portion is elastically deformed until the projection engages one of the recesses of the arcuate portion. When the projection engages one of the recesses, the rotating member and the pair of pins are held in a specific orientation.
Electrical connector with bulging portion at a bend to discharge water
A connector includes: a terminal fitting; a housing containing the terminal fitting inside and provided with a fitting portion inserted and fitted into inside of a hole-shaped counterpart fitting portion of a counterpart wall member; and a shield shell including a cylindrical portion covering, from outside, a projecting portion of the housing projecting from the counterpart fitting portion, a flange portion projecting outer than an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion and a fixed portion bent from an end portion of the flange portion and fixed on an end surface of the counterpart wall member. The shield shell is provided with a bent portion between the flange portion and the fixed portion, and a bulging portion including an inner wall surface positioned inside a curve of the bent portion at an end portion in an extending direction of a bending line of the bent portion.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a power leg, a ground leg, a power contact and a ground contact. The insulating housing has a peripheral wall. At least two perforations are defined on the peripheral wall. At least two leg recesses are formed on the peripheral wall. The perforations and the leg recesses are staggered along the peripheral wall. The power leg and the ground leg are both received in the peripheral wall of the insulating housing and are both have leg portions being exposed from the leg recesses. The power contact and the ground contact are both located in the perforations. As described above, manufacture material of the electrical connector is saved.

Electrical connector having a mating connector interface
An electrical connector includes a housing having a base with signal and ground contact openings therethrough and contact modules coupled to the base. Each contact module includes a dielectric holder holding signal contacts having mating portions received in corresponding signal contact openings and extending into a chamber for mating with a mating electrical connector. A ground shield is coupled to the dielectric holder having a plurality of rails. At least two of the rails have ground hoods extending forward of the mating end of the dielectric holder along the mating portions of the signal contacts. The ground hoods are received in corresponding ground contact openings and extend into the chamber for mating with the mating electrical connector.
Interposers having three housings interconnected to each other
Connecting structures to mechanically connect to a connector receptacle tongue and a printed circuit board and to electrically connect contacts on the connector receptacle tongue to traces on the printed circuit board. One example may provide an interposer having a housing and a plurality of contacts to connect a vertical tongue to a horizontal printed circuit board. The contacts may have a side or tongue connecting portion extending beyond a side of the housing and a bottom or board contacting portion extending beyond a bottom of the housing. The contacts may form a ninety-degree bend. A shield may at least substantially surround a vertical side of the housing.
