ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL COUPLING SYSTEMS FOR ARTIFICIAL POWERED TREES AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A connection system to facilitate the mechanical coupling, and the transfer of electrical power between, trunk sections of an artificial tree is disclosed. The connection system can include a mechanical coupling system having a guiding surface and a guiding slot on a first trunk section and a guiding protrusion disposed inside a second trunk section. Insertion of the first trunk section into the second trunk section and thus contact of the guiding protrusion against the guiding surface can cause the first trunk section to rotate relative the second trunk section until a predetermined rotational alignment is reached, aligning electrical contacts of first and second electrical connectors, each of which is attached to an outer wall of a respective trunk section. The electrical contacts of the first and second electrical connectors can establish electrical communication between the first and second electrical connectors, and thus between the first and second trunk sections.
ELECTRICAL PORT DEVICE
An electrical port device having an electrical port and a cap or cover removable connected to the electrical port having a plug. A Y-shaped electrical cord or cable connects the electrical port to a pair of electrical receptacles. The Y-shaped electrical cord can include one electrical cord or cable section connected to the electrical port, a pair of electrical cord or cable sections connected to the pair of electrical receptacles, and a Y-shaped connector connecting the one electrical cord or cable section and the pair of electrical cord or cable sections. Further, the cap or cover and the electrical port have cooperating sealing surfaces to ensure watertight or waterproof sealing when the cap or cover is installed “on” the electrical port to prevent water or moisture reaching the plug.
CONNECTOR
A connector includes a terminal fitting, an insulating housing having a terminal accommodation chamber in which the terminal fitting is accommodated, and attached to a casing of an installation target device, and an insulating heat dissipation member that takes heat from the terminal fitting and dissipates the heat are included, and the heat dissipation member includes a heat absorbing portion that comes into contact with the terminal fitting in the terminal accommodation chamber and takes heat from the terminal fitting, and a heat transfer portion that transfers the heat taken by the heat absorbing portion to a heat transfer target portion outside the terminal accommodation chamber.

CHARGING CABLE PORT DETECTION AND CURRENT ENFORCEMENT
A charging cable configured to obtain power from different power supply devices for delivery to a chargeable electronic device, and to techniques and equipment to enable the charging cable to identify current limitation of the connected power supply device and to enforce that current limit via the charging cable. The charging cable has a logic circuit coupled to signal pins to detect a signal indicating a power limitation of the power supply device. The logic circuit controls a current limiter connected in the power delivery bus of the charging cable to limit current flowing through the charging cable.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL CONNECTOR AND SPLICING MODEL
The present disclosure provides a multifunctional connector and a splicing model. The multifunctional connector includes a first connection assembly and a second connection assembly. The first connection assembly includes a first housing, a first elastic member, and a first electrical member; wherein the first housing is hollow; the first elastic member is resiliently connected to the first housing; the first electrical member is arranged in an interior of the first housing. The second connection assembly includes a second housing, a second elastic member, and a second electrical member; wherein the second housing is hollow; the second elastic member is resiliently connected to the second housing; the second electrical member is arranged in an interior of the second housing. When the first housing is connected to the second housing, the first electrical member and the second electrical member are plugged and connected.

Electrical connector with automatic latching and slidable lock
An electrical connector comprises a housing body with a peripheral region and a central region. A hinge support protrudes from the housing body. A curved wall portion extends outward from the central region. A lid has a hollow portion arranged for rotation with respect to the hinge support. A spring or resilient member is configured to bias the lid in a closed state against an electrical socket with one or more electrically conductive terminals in an interior of the electrical socket. A slider is arranged to slide radially along the curved wall portion between an open position and a closed position, where the closed position holds the lid in the closed state and where the open position allows the lid to be rotationally raised or flipped upward.
