ELECTRONIC OUTLET PLACE HOLDER
A plug in power strip that prevents electricity from traveling to an appliance when not in use is disclosed. The power strip may use either sensor technology or a manually operated switch that when an appliance is unused will be alerted and will prevent electricity from traveling to the appliance, thus not wasting energy. The resulting shut off will save energy, save money and be safer for homeowners. When the user deems it useful to begin using the appliance once again, the plug in power strip will re-open the channel to let electricity back into that specific appliance. Therefore, the plug in power strip of the present invention keeps optimally keeps appliances running, but does not waste electricity.
MULTIPLE SOCKET OUTLET AND ELECTRICALLY ADJUSTABLE TABLE SYSTEM
A multiple socket outlet (100) for an electrically adjustable table system is provided with a power supply unit (50) for the provision of a DC supply voltage for the table system from a mains AC voltage. The multiple socket outlet (100) forms an integrated unit together with the power supply unit (50).
Electrical receptacle assembly
An electrical receptacle assembly, comprising a housing including a back, a plurality of sides, and a front opening; a face plate attached to the housing; a support flange attached to the housing; at least one electrical outlet attached to one of the plurality of sides; a connection member attached to the back, the connection member including a plurality of openings; and a securing member for releasable engagement with the connection member, the securing member including an engagement tab and an opening for a fastener The electrical receptacle assembly can be secured to a supporting surface in an open position by a combination of fasteners and the securing member.
COMPACT DRAWER OUTLET
An electrical outlet mounting apparatus having a plurality of arms being rotatably connected to each other in a sequence and being collapsible into a collapsed position and extendable into an extended position. The plurality of arms including a channel on the interior of each of the arms that can receive an electrical cord. The mounting apparatus having a mounting plate rotatably attached to the plurality of arms and having one or more electrical connections electrically connected to the electrical cord.
UNIFYING ELECTRICAL INTERFACE CONNECTION PLATFORM
The disclosed Unifying Electrical Interface presents a versatile connectivity platform having the merging capabilities permitting more than a singular voltage, level or type to be made available from an electrical outlet. When wired fully, the choice of AC and/or DC made available to the consumer is broadened. Direct Current (DC) provided via the UEI would originate from a locally based DC source access point obviating the need to use wall chargers or power supplies that wastefully consume energy even when in standby mode. By this approach, the UEI based system extends an avenue for renewable energy technology to he made readily available in a building; while offering a synergistic advantage for the end user, the energy provider and the environment by reducing energy waste. That power conservation and accessibility will result in greater choice and savings for the consumer and will reduce the need for excess production from electric providers.
Latch assembly for low-profile right-angle electrical connector
A low-profile, right angle connector assembly comprises six cable connectors and six board-mount connectors housed within a PCIe bracket and EMI shell. The PCIe bracket and EMI shell are braced to a low profile PCIe card. Each board-mount connector is designed to receive a cable connector and allows for the transmission and processing of high-speed data with lower latency. A removable latch mounted on the cable connectors helps ensure the cable connectors remain physically connected to the board-mount connectors. The removable latch may be replaced as needed for breakage and wear and tear.
Modular RF devices
A modular passive RF apparatus includes a passive RF portal and a passive RF expansion module configured to be removably coupled with the passive RF portal. A male connector is configured to extend from a top surface of the passive RF portal, and a female connector is configured to extend from the first end wall of the passive RF expansion portal. The female connector is configured to slidingly engage the male connector in a direction parallel to the top surface of the passive RF portal in order to mechanically couple the passive RF expansion module with the passive RF portal, and the male connector is configured to prevent the female connector from being removed from the male connector in a direction perpendicular to the top surface of the passive RF portal.
Outlet faceplate extension
An outlet faceplate extension device includes female receiving components at a first side, male electronic components at a second side, and a rim that is connectable to furniture.
Earthquake sensing module and earthquake sensing system
An earthquake sensing module includes an acceleration sensor configured to detect accelerations on a plurality of detection axes, a module control unit configured to control the acceleration sensor, and a module storage unit configured to store state information of the acceleration sensor.
SLIM LINE WHILE IN USE COVER AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THE SAME
A while in use cover assembly includes a lid hingedly attached to a base having a back wall; a current member attached to the base, wherein the current member comprises a face with blade apertures configured to receive a power cord plug; and a orientable adaptor attached to the current member, wherein the orientable adaptor is symmetrical about a center line and wherein the orientable adaptor allows the current member to have a constant orientation within the base; and wherein the while in use cover assembly is configured to be attached to an outlet socket.
