Desk top items with LEDs also include USB-unit(s) or USB-module(s) and, optionally, additional outlet-units, to supply power to other electric or digital devices such as a smart phone or digital data device.

Various embodiments of the apparatus and/or methods are described for routing power to a wall-mounted appliance, particularly for routing electrical wiring and audio/video cabling up through a wall to power and communicate with a wall-mounted presentation device. The apparatus and systems include input and output enclosures with wiring therebetween and mechanisms for mounting the input and output enclosures adjacent to pre-cut wall openings. There exists at least one electrical input connector, disposed within the input enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a power source, and at least one electrical output connector, disposed within the output enclosure, configured to electrically couple with a wall-mounted appliance.

In one example, a cover plate may include a face plate with at least one outlet aperture, a back plate abutting the back of the face plate, an electric load between the face plate and the back plate, and at least one prong that extends from the face plate to a free end. The prong may be configured to interface with a terminal on the side of an outlet receptacle body and may include any or all of the following: an insulated portion and/or an electrical contact. The prong may resiliently deflects outward when interfacing with the terminal and may deflect with a first resistance prior to contacting a wall and with a second resistance that is greater than the first resistance when the prong contacts the wall. The cover play may also include at least one conductor electrically connecting the prong to the electric load.

Various embodiments of a wall-plate system are disclosed. For example, wall-plate system may extend in longitudinal, lateral, and transverse directions that are orthogonal to one another. The wall-plate system may include any or all of the following: (1) a face plate; (2) a back plate; (3) electronic circuitry; (4) at least one spring clip comprising at least one first portion of conductive material and resiliently deflecting between a neutral position and a deflected position located outboard of the neutral position in the lateral direction; (6) at least one insulator positioned outboard of the at least one first portion of conductive material in the lateral direction; (7) the at least one insulator tracking the at least one spring clip as the at least one spring clip deflects between the neutral position and the deflected position.

An electrical box assembly which includes a horizontally extending support member having a horizontally disposed top wall, a vertically disposed back wall, and a horizontally disposed bottom wall. A front cover is secured to the forward ends of the top and bottom walls. The front cover has one or more electrical receptacle openings formed therein which have electrical receptacles mounted therein. A first side cover closes one end of the support member and a second side cover closes the other end of the support member.

An electrical module comprises a first wall with a plug interface, wherein the plug interface includes a plurality of plug pins and a collar surrounding the plug pins, the collar having an envelope surface. A second wall is provided with a socket interface, wherein the socket interface includes a socket tip exhibiting a plurality of socket holes adapted to receive plug pins of an adjacent electrical module. The socket tip is surrounded by a socket cavity provided in the second wall and adapted to receive a collar of an adjacent electrical module. The plug interface is adapted to be connected to a socket interface of a corresponding electrical module and the socket interface is adapted to be connected to a plug interface of a corresponding electrical module. By providing a curved slope on the envelop surface of the collar, advantageous connection properties are achieved.

A high frequency signal communication connector with improved crosstalk performance includes an insulated housing, a plurality of first terminals, a plurality of second terminals, a conductive shielding layer, and a metal shell. The insulated housing has two inserting slots. The first and second terminals are disposed in the insulated housing, and have front ends respectively extending into the two inserting slots, and rear ends respectively extending outside a bottom of the insulated housing. The conductive shielding layer is provided on the insulated housing, and is disposed with a plurality of through holes. The first and second terminals respectively pass through the through holes, so that the conductive shielding layer covers a part of the first and second terminals. The first and second terminals have grounding terminals contacting with the conductive shielding layer, so that the terminals have better shielding effectiveness to reduce crosstalk interference.

The cable management container includes a breadbox-like container with a lid that follows the contours of the container. The container includes a front wall, rear wall, side walls, a bottom wall, a top wall, and a sleeve. The top wall also functions as the lid. The bottom wall supports a receptacle array. The receptacle array includes a plurality of power outlets into which multiple electrical plugs may be organized and plugged into connection with an external power source. A receptacle connector for two types of plug includes an insulative housing defining a front mating port and a rear connecting port along the front-to-back direction, the front mating port defining a plurality of upper passageways and a plurality of lower passageways with a receiving slot therebetween in the vertical direction, the upper passageways being respectively offset from the corresponding lower passageways in a transverse direction. An IMLA (Insert Molded Lead-Frame Assembly) assembled within a space of the rear connecting port and including a plurality of wafers stacked with one another along the transverse direction, each of said wafers including an insulator equipped with a front upper contact disposed in the corresponding upper passageway, a rear upper contact located behind the corresponding upper passageway, a front lower contact disposed in the corresponding lower passageway, and a rear lower contact located behind the corresponding lower passageway.
