CONNECTOR DEVICE AND WIRE HARNESS MANUFACTURING METHOD
A connector device includes a connector housing having a terminal accommodating chamber, a terminal configured to be accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber, an electric wire configured to be connected to the terminal, a corrosion-proof material to be disposed at a position facing the terminal accommodated in the terminal accommodating chamber and a corrosion-proof target portion of the electric wire, and a corrosion-proof material support portion retaining the corrosion-proof material above the connector housing such that the corrosion-proof material can be moved toward the corrosion-proof target portion. A melting point of the corrosion-proof material is set to be lower than a melting point of a material forming the connector housing, and the corrosion-proof material is configured to be melted and then cured while covering the corrosion-proof target portion.
Plug connector
A plug connector for providing an electrical connection, having a collective seal with at least one passage opening and at least one electrically conductive plug contact, which is guided through the at least one passage opening of the collective seal. Also disclosed is a template for the passage opening to support the plug contact when the plug contact is guided through the passage opening of the collective seal.
Terminal equipped electric wire and method of fixing sensor
A terminal equipped electric wire includes an electric wire including: a conductor and an insulating sheath covering the conductor, a part of the conductor extending out of an end portion of the insulating sheath being an exposed portion, a terminal fitting having an electric wire connection portion at a rear side of the terminal fitting, the electric wire connection portion being connected to the exposed portion, a water stop shrinkable tube covering the electric wire connection portion connected to the exposed portion in a watertight manner, a sensor disposed on an outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube, the sensor contacting the outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube and a sensor fixing shrinkable tube covering and fixing the sensor on the outer surface of the water stop shrinkable tube.
ARRANGEMENT FOR PLUG-CONNECTING ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, AND DEVICE FOR DRIVING A COMPRESSOR WITH THE ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement for plug-connecting electrical connections through a housing, in particular a device for driving a compressor. The arrangement exhibits at least one plug-in connection with at least one plug-in connector for transmitting electrical energy, as well as one mounting element for mounting the at least one plug-in connector. The mounting element can be fixed on the housing. The mounting element exhibits on one inner surface of the housing, which encloses the volume, an opening for mounting a fastening element for fixing the mounting element on the housing. The opening is produced in such a way that it starts from the inner surface, extends into the mounting element and ends in the mounting element. The fastening element is arranged in such a way that it is inserted into the opening from the volume enclosed by the housing through a pass-through opening, that is produced in the housing.
Connector backshell assembly
A connector backshell assembly includes a module hood sealable against a connection port having a first connector, a harness hood configured to house a second connector mateable with the first connector, a backshell configured to provide strain relief to a wire harness extending from the second connector and securable on the harness hood after the second connector is housed within the harness hood, and a latch assembly having a latch handle moveable from a first position into a second position to move the harness hood into sealing engagement with the module hood.
Implantable medical device and method of providing wire connections for it
An implantable medical device comprising a sealed flat housing enclosing an electronic circuitry; a plurality of feedthrough conductors, each feedthrough conductor comprising a proximal end part connected to the enclosed electronic circuitry and a distal end part extending from a side surface of the housing and cumulated on said side surface; a tubing that houses a plurality of wires connected to said feedthrough conductors and that is arranged on the housing; and a longitudinal slit through the wall of the tubing through which the wires extend out of the tubing.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR USE IN IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a connector assembly for use in an implantable medical device. The connector assembly for use in an implantable medical device includes an insulating sealed housing and at least one conductive element. The sealed housing defines at least one connecting hole along an axial direction of the sealed housing, a hole wall of each of the at least one connecting hole defines at least one circumferential mounting groove, and the at least one circumferential mounting groove is arranged along an axial direction of the at least one connecting hole. The at least one conductive element is disposed in a corresponding one of the at least one circumferential mounting groove and is drawn out to an outside of the sealed housing through a respective electrical contact element.
Phase to phase terminal lead protection
A system includes a pair of terminal leads joined together. An insulative sleeve is wrapped around the pair of terminal leads. Lacing binds around the insulative sleeve. Cured epoxy can encase the insulative sleeve and lacing. The insulative sleeve can include fiberglass. The insulative sleeve can be wrapped more than 360° around the pair of terminal leads so that a first edge of the insulative sleeve is tucked under a second edge of the insulative sleeve.
Method of making a plug connector and sealing a cable therein
An injection-molded support has a contact chamber adapted to receive a contact partner, a fixed seal part, a movable seal part shiftable relative to the fixed seal between an open position spaced therefrom and a closed position closely juxtaposed therewith, and a break point holding the movable seal part in the open position and frangible for movement of the movable seal part into the closed position. A cable end fitted between the seal parts into the chamber is clamped when the movable seal part is then moved from the open into the closed position with rupturing of the break element and is held in form-fitting clamping engagement of the cable end between the seal parts. Finally the cable end is overmolded with molding compound to the contact body outside the contact chamber while blocking entry of the compound by the seal parts into the contact chamber.
ELECTRIC PLUG CONNECTOR WITH BENDING GUARD
An electric plug connector has a locking element configured for releasably connecting to a mating plug connector, a housing for receiving at least one cable and at least one contact element, and a bending guard which is made of an elastic material and prevents excessive bending of the connected cable, wherein the bending guard can be used for different cable cross-sections for field assembly.
