Systems and methods for utilizing remote visualization for installing a fiber network to a structure
Systems and method for installing a fiber network to a structure include causing one or more cameras to capture a plurality of photographs of an installation area; obtaining the plurality of photographs and causing processing of the plurality of photographs to provide one or more remote visualizations of the installation area; utilizing the one or more remote visualizations for determining an installation procedure for installing the fiber network to the structure; and installing the fiber network based on the determined installation procedure.
Facilitating installation of cables within datacenters
Methods and systems are described herein for facilitating installation of cables within datacenters without signals being sent/received from outside the datacenter buildings. In particular, the mechanism for facilitating installation of cables within datacenters may include scanning cable codes (e.g., QR codes, bar codes, near field communication (NFC) codes, radio frequency identification (RFID) codes, etc.) and retrieving path information for scanned cable codes. The mechanism then proceeds to track the installation process by scanning codes located throughout a datacenter to verify that the cable installation is proceeding correctly. In instances where a scanned code does not match a code that is expected, based on an order within the path information, an error message is generated indicating that there may be a problem with the cable installation.
Managing network installation
A mounting bracket may reserve an installation site for a network component at a specific geographic location. The mounting bracket may bear indicia by which the mounting bracket can be associated (e.g., electronically) with the geographic location for tracking and/or reporting purposes. The indicia may be removable from the mounting bracket. The indicia may block the network component from being installed at the mounting bracket prior to removal of the indicia.
Exterior member and electric wire wiring structure
An exterior member which covers the circumference of an electric wire, which is wired between electrical components, along the electric wire, and is supported by a supporting body while one side in a circumferential direction is exposed, includes an exterior member body that is formed into a long cylindrical shape and which has a predetermined background color, and an identifying mark that is provided on the outer surface of the exterior member body and which has another predetermined color different from the background color. The exterior member body is formed with at least one bent part which is bent at a middle position in a longitudinal direction, and the identifying mark is provided to face the one side while the exterior member is supported by the supporting body.
Conduit identification system
An identifier for a conduit includes a substrate having a pair of apertures. The substrate further contains a frangible portion encompassing one of the apertures and having a shape that corresponds to an opening left in the substrate after removal of the frangible portion. The identifier enables the shape of the frangible portion to be correlated with the shape of the opening left in the substrate after the frangible portion is separated from the substrate.
Conductor Identification
Conductor identification may be provided. A first sleeve may be placed around a first conductor and a second sleeve around a second conductor. Next, a first tag may be placed on the first conductor and a second tag on the second conductor. Then, the first conductor and the second conductor may be pulled together through a conduit. The first conductor may slideably move through the first sleeve and the second conductor may slideably move through the second sleeve as the first conductor and the second conductor are pulled together through the conduit.
Method of Marking A Location of Interest on A Power Cable
A method of marking a location of interest on a power cable, including a) identifying a location of interest on a layer of the power cable in a process of manufacturing the power cable, and b) providing a marker at the location of interest, the marker being able to transmit radiation.
Wiring harness
A wiring harness includes a conduit member which accommodates therein one or a plurality of conductor lines, and an identifying portion colored in a predetermined color and given a predetermined thickness and a non-identifying portion defined as a portion where the identifying portion is not provided circumferentially, the identifying portion and the non-identifying portion being provided on an outer surface of the conduit member. A retrofit member is attached to the non-identifying portion.
ELECTRICIANS WIRE LABELLING SYSTEM
The present invention includes a system for marking a plurality of wires connected to a 3 phase electric distribution system that includes a plurality of preprinted self-adhesive labels for use on electrical wires wherein each of the labels in the plurality of labels bears one of first, second and third unique indicia and a preprinted unique integer number.
WIRE HARNESS WITH RFID TRACEABILITY
A method of manufacturing a vehicle includes providing a part with a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag associated with part data, installing the part thereby obstructing the RFID tag, scanning the obstructed RFID tag to access the part data without disturbing the part, determining if the part data is correct for the installation, and certifying and releasing the installation when the part data is correct.
