TRANSIENT STABILITY ASSESSMENT METHOD FOR AN ELECTRIC POWER SYSTEM
A transient stability assessment method for an electric power system is disclosed. Transient stability tags and steady-state data of the electric power system before a failure occurs are collected from transient stability simulation data. Data sets under different predetermined failures are obtained based on a statistical result of the transient stability tags and a maximum-minimum method. A similarity evaluation index between different predetermined failures is constructed based on a Jaccard distance and a Hausdorff distance. Different predetermined failures are clustered based on a clustering algorithm. A parameters-shared siamese neural network is trained for different predetermined failures in each cluster to obtain a multi-task siamese neural network for the transient stability assessment. Transient stability assessment results of the electric power system under all the predetermined failures are obtained based on the statistical result of the transient stability tags and the multi-task siamese neural network for the transient stability assessment.

Method and device for detection of sub-synchronous oscillations in a power system
A method for detection of a sub-synchronous oscillation in a power system includes measuring a three-phase measurement signal of an electric system value, analyzing the measurement signal to detect an oscillation component of the measurement signal having an oscillation frequency lower than a system frequency of the power system, deciding whether the detected oscillation component at the oscillation frequency qualifies as a sub-synchronous oscillation, and disconnecting a generator from the power system that might be affected by the sub-synchronous oscillation. To detect sub-synchronous oscillations with low computational effort and good accuracy, an amplitude of each phase of the oscillation component is calculated and compared against a threshold, a sub-synchronous oscillation is detected upon exceeding the threshold during a given time delay, and a fault signal is generated upon detecting a sub-synchronous oscillation. A device having a processing unit is also provided.
Method for calculating oscillation damping ratio of power grid
The present invention disclosed a method for calculating an oscillation damping ratio of a power grid, and relates to the field of power system operation and control. When a power system oscillates, an oscillation period, two oscillation extreme points, and an oscillation direct current component start to be detected. Then an oscillation decay time constant is calculated according to the two oscillation extreme points and the oscillation direct current component. The oscillation damping ratio is calculated through the oscillation decay time constant and the oscillation period. Compared with a conventional fitting method, the conventional fitting method cannot calculate and analyze the oscillation damping ratio in a cast that a complete oscillation waveform is not obtained. The method proposed by the present inventive patent may complete the calculation of the oscillation damping ratio in a case of obtaining 2 pieces of data, so as to accelerate the speed of calculation.
